Haruka has rarely felt herself losing control over her emotions this much before.

She was a mess since the time she heard about the engagement news from Seth, despite it not being spoken to her directly. It didn't matter whether Seth told her not, what mattered was the fact that soon Seth would become a lawful husband to two women.

Even though she has developed shameless feelings toward Seth which a teacher should never harbour toward their student, Haruka couldn't have done anything regarding the realization.

She knew Seth liked her. Forget about his favorable behavior toward her, he has clearly stated that he has romantic feelings for an old lady like her.

She would be going to be twenty-three this year, five years older than him yet she found recently how Haruka has crossed the line of her bounds and has fallen for the man. It wasn't the first time she has received a confession but all those times, Haruka was either busy with her studies and research to pay any attention to the other party, or she just plainly rejected them based on her unfamiliarity with the person to consider dating them.

However, it wasn't the same for Seth. He has saved her and shown respect to her parents even though Haruka was imposing on him and her parents were no nobility to show such generous behavior.

All these things summed up and made Haruka realize how deeply she had dwelled on this feeling of romance with Seth.

And at that time when she was being stretched from conflicts of how she could reach out to Seth without ruining his relationship with his fiancees, a letter from a familiar maid arrived based on which Haruka mustered up the courage to invite Serh to her office.

Yes, she was terrified of Duchess Valarie and the thought of what she might do if the Duchess hears how her son was being trapped by his own history Professor...incredibly disturbing to even imagine.

But Haruka had to do this or she might not be able to continue living her usual life and might fall into depression.

And it would be unfair to Seth as well...by not giving any proper answer to his confession.

"W-Would you like some tea?"While trying her best to not stutter being alone with him inside a room, Haruka asked.

Seeing Seth shaking his head slightly his eyes staring at her with no definite expression on his face, made her even more nervous at the thought that she might be wasting his time.

She offered him the chair of the visitor before she sat on the adjacent chair. There were so many files on the table that sitting on her usual seat opposite him would have blocked the view completely.

Shaking her head to dismiss all the needless thoughts and worries, Haruka took a deep breath before straightening her back and looking directly into his eyes.

"Yes!" Her eyes turned toward him in an instant as she expertly hid her astonishment at hearing her name in place of 'Professor'.

But soon her vigor tamed down as she saw the warm look in his eyes which Seth barely showed to anyone in Haruka's knowledge.

Her heart seemed to be melting under those eyes as she felt her shoulder dropping once again, but this time in comfort.

"Before anything, you do know what I feel for you is no mere fleeting teenage affection that would switch to someone else or get torn with time, right?"

Haruka didn't reply to that but her heart started beating a little faster than before.

Seth got up from his seat, dropped his bag and glasses on the table before he made his way toward her, and knelt in front of her.

Taking hold of her hands in a gentle grip, his soothing voice reached her once again, "That my feelings for you are as concrete and it won't waver how much time passes by. That I would never be able to come over this feeling of love I carry for you. It's not just a confession but a commitment I promised when I declared my love for you. Tell me, you knew this all, right?"

There was a sense of determination along with sincerity in his eyes which told Haruka that his feelings for her were more passionate and fierce than she had for him.

It felt that Haruka was a young insecure teenager with a feeble heart whereas Seth was the purely devoted type of adult who could marry her the very moment she assent to it.

All her worries and fear soon began crumbling down as she muttered under her breath, "I didn't know...Seth...I didn't know anything...and now I feel stupid... "

Seeing the tears streaming down her face, Seth sighed and decided that it was time...
