Before the blonde could have made sense of the sudden interruption by the council president's secretary or why she was blood-bathed right now, Seth got up from his seat and levitated high in the air, before darting toward a south-eastern direction.

Ciel also didn't wait there since anxiety and concern for her roommate didn't let her dilly-dally around as the girl used her teleportation skill and vanished from sight.

Left alone in the garden, Serena stood still for some seconds before she finished her tea and decided to retreat. She also had to check on the artifact which the President gave which would help her negate her curiosity toward the thing which made the President, that much panicked.

'Anabelle huh... I wonder what relationship they two have... '

It didn't take much time for Seth to reach the dorm where most of the female populace of the school lives. It was situated just two hundred meters away from the main building thus providing efficient commuting time.This chapter's initial release occurred on the n0vell--Bjjn site.

In normal circumstances, Seth would never have chosen to enter the dorm where males were strictly forbidden. Getting the title of pervert was not something Seth could ever entertain. But things demanded him to go out of his way and stroll inside the building where he saw Ciel already waiting near the reception.

There was no warden near the counter which made Seth slightly surprised but he brushed it away and began following his secretary who led him upstairs.

Reaching the second floor, it didn't take much time for Seth to realize which room he had to rush toward since there was a small group of girls and an elderly woman already crowding near a specific door making Seth rush his steps.

"Move."

A single wave of soul energy traveled with his voice which made the crowd disoriented as they made way for Seth who didn't wait before entering inside...or he tried to.

"Ah..."

Seth felt a thick barrier stopping his movements just at the door as he tried to make his way inside. Soon Ciel's words clarified the reason.

Her nii-sama....was here!

But he was still angry with her, doesn't he? She did such a thing to deserve it but a life without her brother is not something Anabelle could ever live through. She has to give up on herself then maybe her brother would remember her in a good way and she could see him from the afterlife and-

There was a deep frown on Seth's forehead as he read the fluctuating thoughts of the girl which were dangerous, to say the least. She really was unstable right now to make any kind of conversation.

But he could not show his upset side to her since he already could see moisture building in her large eyes just because he said two words in a stern voice.

"I-I *sniff*...sorry... I never... Nii-sama...how could I... "

Anabelle was a broken mess. What she was saying or wanted to convey was tangled up in between her sobs and whimpers. She wanted to apologize and get back together with her brother. She could do anything to be seen in the same light he used to look at her.

'This girl... '

Seth signed, witnessing how different Mayu actually was from how she represented herself in the past. If not for him reading her mind at the moment, he would have declared she was being fake, that much polar opposite these two sides of Mayu were.

She used to be cheery and energetic, yet now all he could see was a broken girl who was desperately extending her hand to get her brother's warmth.

"I am not going anywhere, so just relax and let yourself get treated. "

As he said, Seth leaned forward before collecting the girl in his arms, sending a numbing sleepy sensation to her mind making the girl fall unconscious before Seth stood holding her in a bridal carry as he walked out of the room under the varying gazes of the onlookers.

What Seth currently was feeling was a mixture of anxiety and sadness but later in the day, when he would be prying into her mind to gather her memories, he would repent his actions...
