Chapter 64: Touching Reunion~

Despite it’s been only a month since Seth has taken over this body and got very less time to master his skills, taking all the ordeals happening one after another around him, he still was more or less confident in his instincts.

In his last life, he has been training since the age of 8 under a fanatic yet strict old man to become something he never wanted. So it goes without saying that after adding this miraculous extension named Soul-energy Seth must have sensed on par with at least Third-grade warriors. Modestly evaluating.

Yet, Seth never noticed when someone entered his room and was sitting on his bed for a complete half a minute until he unbuttoned his shirt. Only when the unwanted guest chose to speak, then Seth became aware of their presence.

‘How pathetic...’

It took some time for Seth to collect his breath since noticing a pair of blue eyes shining through shadows, staring at him solemnly followed by such a melodious yet dangerous voice, made him panic like this for the first time after his re-birth.

“You seem to be frightened, Prez? I wonder if you have been naughty recently~.”

Seth didn’t care to take his shirt back as he first illuminated the room and confirmed that his perceptions haven’t betrayed his sense of identification.

On the bed, with a chilling smile sat a single girl younger than him in a typical maid outfit. The dress was complimenting her raven hair and the small ribbon she had used to tie her hair in a ponytail matched her eyes.

But Seth was in no mood to check out her despite her wearing such an unusual yet pleasing dress, as with an evidently agitated frown he voiced his immediate thoughts.

“Student Anabelle Fienna. I hope you have an excellent reason for infiltrating my room and showing such unsightly behavior. And if you don’t have any, the punishment of your act wouldn’t be any less than a criminal just because you healed my wounds.”

Seth sounded enraged since the chain of events transpiring since evening had been keeping on edge. Despite Anabelle being a strong entity and the main female lead, Seth cared for none at the moment.

He may not imprison her, but he had ways to make her pay for intensifying his headache.

“I don’t have a family title, but you put my mother’s name since she is my only guardian alive. My~My, I never knew Prez would do research on me.”The original appearance of this chapter can be found at Ñøv€lß1n.

She was stronger than she should have been...

Seth hasn't seen her skills in full display yet but he could tell the way she was suppressing her soul energy and even now when Seth failed to detect her presence. He was surely tired but not to the point where he would become fatally careless.

“I have many things to say and ask but for now...”

Seth turned himself toward Anabelle since he sensed her approaching before he suddenly yet once again got startled when Anabelle out of nowhere wrapped her thin hand around his torso and pressed her cheek on his bare chest.

Seth, who was buttoning himself, felt the urge to shake her off at once but he halted when he heard the weak and almost crying voice of the girl.

“Please tell me you are fine....I...I was so worried since....I tried many things but that- that damn door wasn’t moving at all! I am sorry for being so weak Seth....I-I just...”

Seth instinctively raised his hand and rested one on her head and another one on her back as he no longer was able to hear her whimpers which sounded so genuine that he might have to reward her as the best actress of the century if she is proven to be faking it afterward.

He sensed her flinching but soon she walked even closer, nearly disappearing in him as she didn’t object to Seth patting her.

At that moment, Anabelle once again realized that she couldn’t be wrong about Seth. This warmth. This fuzzy feeling. Her unnatural heartbeats....made only one sense.

‘It has to be you.....’

A/N: I know the chapter is short but adding anything anymore would have faded out the emotions I tried to portray.

I promise to compensate in the next one~
