Xiaowang rushed in from the outside and stood at the top of the kang, portraying a dazed look as if he was a lost, little beast.

He wasn’t wearing his glasses, but even if he wore glasses, it was too dark to see anything clearly, so he fumbled around the room with his hands sticking out.

The couple was still stacked together on the kang before Lin Lan pushed Han Qingsong and signalled him to get down.

Han Qingsong was a little unwilling, but he had to listen to her.

Lin Lan reached out and touched Xiaowang’s head, feeling him trembling, “Did you have a nightmare?”

Xiaowang immediately put his face on Lin Lan’s palm, “Wah~ I want mom, but mom didn’t want me.”

Lin Lan couldn’t bear to see the sight, so she got up and carried him up.

Han Qingsong grabbed her waist with his big hand and she couldn’t move for a brief moment before she kicked him and said softly, “Let go.”

Han Qingsong stretched out his arm and lifted Xiaowang up. The child showed no ounce of fear and was in retrospect, giggling happily.

Lin Lan immediately hugged Xiaowang, who was still shivering from the cold, into her arms, “Go to sleep.”

She thought that with her son present, Han Qingsong was sure to not be able to do what he wanted. In conclusion, she was safe for the night, oh yea!

She hugged Xiaowang tightly and turned her back towards Han Qingsong, feeling like she was hugging a gold pass that allowed her to cheat her death.

Han Qingsong, “…”

A large hand was then felt running on her back. Her skin was smooth and it felt very good, making Han Qingsong reluctant to break contact with her.

After a while, there were the sounds of even breathing.

“Xiaowang is asleep.”

Lin Lan… this child is too amazing. How the heck did he sleep within seconds? Shouldn’t he at least be a bit apologetic for waking us up?

She guessed that he had a nightmare and ran over in a somewhat sleepwalking condition, which was the reason as to why he wasn’t fully conscious. Fortunately, Han Qingsong cleaned the house neatly while making sure of all the corners and edges, resulting in no accidents to occur even though Xiaowang had paced around to find his way.

Lin Lan, who was hugging Xiaowang, was reluctant to loosen her grip on the boy.

Han Qingsong crossed his arms and placed them around her waist, touching Xiaowang, “You can move him aside a bit.”

Lin Lan, “…No need.”

But Xiaowang was already carried away, wrapped tightly with another quilt and placed on the other side of the kang’s cabinet. The space around him was small, so it would give the child a sense of security and prevent him from falling.

“Let him sleep there in the future,” Han Qingsong didn’t insist on sending Xiaowang back.

Lin Lan, “…”

Within the next moment, she was wrapped into a heated embrace and was intimately approached without any gaps between them.

The heat on his body was amazing, which made her feel like she was being pressed against a large yet warm baby. She actually felt so hot to the point that she was going to melt.

The steamy kisses were like raindrops and the burning palms were about to knead her into a pool of spring water, slowly blooming like a gentle flower in the moonlight.

This time Lin Lan slept soundly and soundly. It felt like her eyelids were being suppressed by something, making her feel like she could sleep till the end of time.

She had a feeling that she had a lot of dreams, but she couldn’t remember anything. She opened her eyes in a daze but the room was still dark with only a circle of light shining through the window.

Was it not yet dawn?
