Chapter 187: “The Fight Between Dumbledore and Grindelwald”

When Sean saw those huge, glowy eyes, it was too late for him to react.

He heard Dave’s wild and violent voice, a huge creature breaking through the water, and his wand falling to the ground.

However, those voices became weaker and weaker, and Sean’s vision suddenly became blurred. He felt his body getting lighter as if someone had hooked his hair with a hook and pulled him up slowly.

“Two Basilisks? I’m...” The last thought flashed through his mind, and Sean’s consciousness sank into darkness.

Dave’s voice echoed for a long time.

At night, in the principal’s office, two old men were sitting on armchairs, talking face to face.

“Albus, I’ve reminded you many times,” Grindelwald said with a serious face, and he twisted his short beard slowly, “Whether the prophecy comes true depends on us and the child. But no matter what, you must remember that some nasty things have awakened.”

Opposite him was Dumbledore, and he looked a little tired. He propped up his right hand and massaged his temple.

“I understand, Gellert. But that’s not something we can stop. A gap has been revealed between the trance and reality...”

Grindelwald cut him off roughly, “Albus. You’re too gentle with those awakened old immortals!”

He took out a crystal bottle from his arms, then uncorked the bottle and poured the transparent liquid inside into Dumbledore’s other hand. After touching the liquid, the skin on it suddenly became shriveled as if it had been air-dried.

Dumbledore didn’t stop his movement. After the liquid fell, his tired expression showed a bit of relaxation, and then he sighed.

“Thanks for the potion, Gellert. It makes me feel better.”

He talked about his thoughts endlessly, not noticing that Grindelwald’s eyes became deep and sad.

At this moment, there was a knock on the door of the principal’s office.

Grindelwald’s body twisted and turned into another person.

“Albus? Oh, I didn’t know you had a visitor, but I have to inform you that...” Professor McGonagall looked very anxious. She glanced around the office and at Grindelwald, who had transformed into someone else.

Dumbledore nodded, “It’s okay, this is my old friend. You can speak it directly here.”

Professor McGonagall was a little puzzled. She had never seen this person, but since Dumbledore said so, he should be a trustworthy person.

“Sean is gone.” Professor McGonagall took a deep breath and said quickly.

Dumbledore’s smile disappeared, and he looked at her, “Minerva?”

“Just now, Miss Granger came over. She said that she hadn’t seen Sean all day and wanted to ask if he was studying in a professor’s office. I’ve asked every professor, and they didn’t see Sean either.”

Dumbledore’s eyes became serious. He pondered for a while and then said, “I see. Minerva, it would be best if you went back first. I probably know where Sean has gone.”

“You know?” Professor McGonagall breathed a sigh of relief, “Thank God.”

When Professor McGonagall left, Grindelwald returned to his original appearance. He casually leaned back on the chair and said in a relaxed tone, “Sean is exactly like me. He probably got curious and ran to The Chamber of Secrets, right? I guess that old Slytherin caught him. Now, Albus. How much sanity can these revived ancients have?”

“Watch your words when confronting one of the founders of Hogwarts, Gellert.”

“Come on. Don’t you still have to rely on me to enter that room?” Grindelwald smiled.

Dumbledore glanced at him and finally shook his head helplessly.
