Chapter 86: 'A Secret”

Chapter 86: “A Secret”

Sean had left Snape’s office and went to Newt’s office again. After a pleasant time taking care of the magical beasts, he walked towards the Great Hall.

“Ugh, Professor Scamander only has food for them.” Sean was hungry and quickened his pace.

Although Professor Scamander said that wizards could also eat some foods for the animals, he even demonstrated it himself, but Sean still declined the offer. After all, not everyone has the courage to throw a wriggling unknown bug into their mouth.

Walking to the entrance of the hall, Sean saw the Gryffindor trio, who seemed to have just returned and were talking about something. Sean stepped forward to say hello, and the three immediately came up to him.

“Sean, have you finished your things with Professor Snape?” Harry asked.

“Yeah, I’ve been picking Flobberworm the whole day. It was a total pain.” Sean sighed helplessly.

“Has Snape been in the office the whole time?” Harry asked quickly.

Seeing their expression, Sean nodded suspiciously, “Yes, he watched me and taunted me from time to time.”N0v3lTr0ve served as the original host for this chapter's release on N0v3l--B1n.

The trio looked at each other, and Sean saw the puzzled look in their eyes. Sean was surprised about what they were doing.

“Why did you ask that?”

Harry looked around, pulled Sean to a corner where no one was around, and said quietly, “We just saw Snape outside.”

“Professor Snape? When?”

“Just now, when we crossed the bridge, we saw Snape coming out of the Forbidden Forest. I’m confident that’s him.” Harry said firmly.

Sean patted his starving stomach. According to the time he left, if Snape went to the Forbidden Forest, it makes sense as he had been with Professor Scamander for a while.

He thought for a while, “I didn’t just come back from there, so maybe he went to the Forbidden Forest to do something after I left.”

“But there’s something wrong with Snape.” Harry said with great certainty as if he had some news.

“Just a guess.”

Harry was a little excited, “Sean, think about it. Professor Snape and Riddle entered Hogwarts at the same time, and one of them is probably the mastermind.”

Sean spread his hands, “It makes sense. You should go and tell Professor Dumbledore about it.”

“We can’t get in touch with him.” Harry suddenly became frustrated.

“I think Professor Dumbledore knows everything in the castle, so you don’t have to worry about anything.” Sean advised. He was worried that Harry, after the invisibility cloak, will do something stupid.

Could this be Dumbledore’s plan again? Like training Harry or something.

When he was in Nurmengard, he saw a piece of paper in Grindelwald’s office with the names of Harry and Neville written on it.

Harry just nodded, but judging from the way he looked, he probably didn’t listen. Sean can only express his inability to do anything.

After saying goodbye to them, Sean went to the hall, where Hermione was already sitting at the long table.

“I didn’t see you at noon. Didn’t Snape let you have lunch?” Hermione asked with a frown when she saw him.

“Well, no. He didn’t have lunch either.” Sean sat next to Hermione, waiting for dinner to appear.

Hermione closed the book hard and said dissatisfiedly, “I’m going to tell Professor Flitwick. The punishment is unreasonable, and you are not allowed to eat lunch.”

“Forget it. Professor Flitwick probably can’t handle this, and I understand why he did that.”

“You’re just too nice!” Hermione was also not satisfied with Sean’s attitude. “What did you understand?”

On the plate, a sumptuous dinner finally appeared. Sean hurriedly took some to the plate, raised his knife and fork, and winked at Hermione, “It’s just a misunderstanding between me and him. Well, now that has been settled. Let’s just eat this now while we have it.”

Hearing his laidback response, she suddenly didn’t want to talk to Sean anymore.
