Chapter 61: 'Prophecy”

Chapter 61: “Prophecy”

Sean was about to close the cabinet door by himself, but he paused for a while. He secretly thought in his heart. He doesn’t know if his encounter with Grindelwald tonight will upset Dumbledore or not.

But he didn’t refuse, and Sean tried his best to keep a smile, “Okay, I’ll try when I see Professor Dumbledore.”

Grindelwald put his hands behind his back and bent down slightly, like a kind old man looking kindly at his child. “Tell him that he’s such a thoughtful person.”

Dumbledore’s thoughtfulness? Sean thought about its meaning.

Is it about his loving interest in him? Why does it need to be said through him?

Grindelwald waved at him, and the door of the cabinet closed automatically.

“I’m looking forward to our next meeting, Sean.” He said his last words.

Sean could only smile. It would be better not to meet him at all. He sighed helplessly. When facing Grindelwald, he couldn’t do anything about it. He was superior to him in terms of strength and experience. This made Sean feel a deep sense of powerlessness.

Outside the cabinet door, Grindelwald quietly watched the cabinet for a while, and the expression on his face became more and more pleasant.

He Apparated in his office. Inside, Vinda was already waiting for him.

“Lord Grindelwald. According to your instructions, we have already dispatched additional staff around the families of those children.”

Grindelwald nodded with satisfaction and leaned comfortably on the back of the chair, “I have to say. Albus still has his own opinions on these things.”

Hearing Dumbledore’s name, a complex light flashed in Vinda’s eyes. She couldn’t help but glance at Grindelwald with admiration and enthusiasm.

Grindelwald smiled gently and said, “Do you understand what I meant?”

“I understand, Lord Grindelwald.” Vinda lowered her head immediately.

Grindelwald turned his chair and looked out the window, “My goals have never changed.”

She wondered, “Are the No-Maj families really worthy of our protection?”

“Vinda, anything is worth doing on the road to glory.” Grindelwald said slowly.

“As for you, Sean,” Dumbledore’s tone was very serious, and he stared deeply at Sean, “You are in the prophecy. Your words and deeds may have consequences on the prophecy.”

“Consequences?” Sean became more and more confused.

“Yes,” Dumbledore nodded earnestly, and then a smile appeared in his eyes, “but at present, your performance has made my expectations come true.”

“Me?” Sean laughed dryly. He felt that he didn’t do anything. It was just pure bad luck.

Dumbledore no longer mentioned the information about the prophecy. He led Sean to the side of the stairs and sat down.

“Oh, it’s a little cold.” He waved his hand.

When Sean followed him and sat down on the stairs, the cold marble steps were already warm.

“Sean, I prefer this warm feeling to the cold.” Dumbledore turned his head and smiled at him.

“Me too, sir.” Sean nodded.

Dumbledore looked satisfied and clapped his hands, “Gellert should have let you speak, right? Unlike last time.”

Sean was not at all surprised by the understanding between Dumbledore and Grindelwald. The two had been fighting for so many years.

“Yes, professor. He also said that you are very thoughtful.”

“I see.” Dumbledore showed a helpless look.

Although Sean was very curious, he did not ask, but Dumbledore said it himself, “I have arranged something for your family to notify me when they are in danger and protect them.”

Sean’s eyes widened, “But Mr. Grindelwald said...”

“He has arranged something for them, right?” Dumbledore sighed, “He really hasn’t changed at all.”

Sean decided not to comment on this. This is something that only the two of them would know.

After telling Dumbledore about his experience in Nurmengard, he nodded, “I understand. Please rest assured in the future that your family will never be in danger. This is my promise to you.”

“I’m glad to hear that. Thank you, Professor.”
