Chapter 1: 'For The Greater Good”

Chapter 1: “For The Greater Good”

July 28, 1991, London, England.

Mr. Alan Wallup, who lives in the Chelsea district of Kensington, London, has been in a good mood recently. The business of his private hospital is getting better and better, and he has finally got an official status. His preparation for the next hospital chain has been in the works.

Of course, this is not the main reason for his happiness. His own son, Sean Wallup, received an offer from Eton College.

“As expected.” Sitting on the large, comfortable leather office chair, Mr. Wallup thought proudly.

Mr. Wallup believed that his eleven-year-old son already possessed all the qualities a nobleman should have. He has enough reasons to believe that the glory of the Wallup family will be continued later by his own son.

“Sean, are you alright?” A girl looked a little worried at a park in Chelsea. At this moment, she was talking to a boy beside her.

The boy was about eleven or twelve years old. He looked handsome, his slightly curly black hair was well groomed, and even a casual T-shirt and jeans gave him the feeling of a gentleman.

“Don’t worry, I just flipped him over and put him on the ground. That boy is really tough. It’s not the first time he did this.” Sean clapped his hands and said casually.

Immediately, he showed an impeccably elegant smile, “He shouldn’t have pranked you. I have warned him many times.”

Looking at Sean’s eyes, the girl blushed slightly, and the worries just now were forgotten.

“Sean, you are such a gentleman.”

“I have always been taught to be humble. I thank you for your words.”

After parting with the girl, Sean leisurely walked towards his villa. Along the way, he caught several girls’ attention around him.

“Your new hairstyle really fits your face so much.”

“Can you ask your father to give me a consultation? I think I lose my mind whenever I see you around.”

“I am more and more fascinated by you each day. You’re looking amazing as always.”

Sean was used to this situation and knew how to react when encountering this situation. He can always say words that can make the girls blush. After all, who would refuse a sincere compliment from a gentleman?

When he arrived home along the route he had set a long time ago, a voice could be heard.

Sean stared at the letter and read it several times. This is not just some random letter but a real school’s acceptance letter. At this moment, a voice came from his mind.

“What the hell...” Sean looked at the envelope intensely and fell off the chair.

He never imagined that there was a wizarding world hidden behind his new life. He immediately began to recall the vague memories of his previous life.

Frankly speaking, he is not a big fan of the Harry Potter series. Like many people, he has read the book and the movie even more than once, but he couldn’t remember much regarding what happened.

Sean has a good memory regarding the newest movie, which is “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald”. After all, the movie was released not long before he crossed the world.

However, what he remembers most clearly is the various movie clips, random facts and trivia, and some information that was being left online regarding the series by the fandom itself.

With mixed feelings, he glanced at the envelope in his hand again. At this moment, a woman walked over with a little girl.

“Sean, has your father come home yet? We agreed to go buy your uniform and some daily necessities together.”

Sean looked at them. He probably didn’t need to buy the Eton uniform.

However, before he can figure out how to explain it to his family, a familiar voice can be heard at the gate of the courtyard.

“Honey, I’m home. Hey, boy! There’s another letter for you.”

Mr. Wallup hugged his wife and daughter and then handed over a letter.

Sean took the envelope suspiciously. It’s the same pale yellow parchment letter, even the weight is the same.

Sean turned the letter over. It’s the same wax seal, but the school badge on it has changed.

It’s a phoenix and a fire dragon surrounding the symbol. A sign that made Sean’s eyes widen. The letters above the logo made Sean’s heart race quickly.

(Nurmengard)

Below the badge is a Latin sentence. Thanks to the high requirements of Eton College, Sean can speak many Latin languages.

This sentence translates as,

(For the greater good.)
