Even though Shang Bo had entered the large completion stage of the Martial Extermination Realm, he wasn’t strong enough to challenge a Martial Dipper Realm expert. If he was able to borrow the strength of the Tongyou Mysterious World like Ji Wenlong, he might have been able to fight with Ancestor Yun Lu.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.

No matter how strong Shang Bo was when compared to other Martial Extermination Realm experts, they were merely ants before Ancestor Yun Lu.

A small sword emerged from the Tongyou Mysterious World at that instant and it crossed the hundred feet gap in an instant. It shot towards Ancestor Yun Lu.

“Divine Weapon, Hidden Frost Sword!” 

Ancestor Yun Lu gasped as he unleashed several palm strikes at the space before him. He created several layers of barriers with the heaven and earth qi in his surroundings.

When the Hidden Frost Sword arrived, It shattered a few layers before stopping.

“Hehe, too bad you’re not Kou Chongxue!” Ancestor Yun Lu burst out with mocking laughter. He stared at Yun Jing who was standing at the edge of the Tongyou Mysterious World as a sneer formed on his lips.

Yun Jing’s expression changed drastically as she tried to recall the sword. Rays of light emerged from the sword as it tried to struggle free.

Ancestor Yun Lu expected her to do as much as he pressed down at the space in front of him to create a massive palm out of heaven and earth qi. It descended onto the Hidden Frost Sword and trapped it firmly in place. 

From the looks of it, Ancestor Yun Lu seemed to have expected things to develop up to that point. In fact, it might have been a part of his plan in the first place.

Waving his hands again, thin strands of light emerged from the remnant pieces of the barrier that were shattered by the Hidden Frost Sword earlier and they wrapped themselves around it. In an instant, the Hidden Frost Sword was trapped securely in mid air.

In the Changfeng City, Uncle Cen and Fourth Brother Zeng led the remaining members of the Eighteen Horsemen to unleash an offensive on the experts from the City Lord Manor.

The Changfeng City might have been Yang Hu’s territory, and he managed to maintain a strong control over the city when he weeded out the spies of the Tongyou City previously. However, that didn’t stop them from sending more!

When he was around, he might have been able to suppress everyone against him with his personal strength. Now that he had left for the Tongyou City, no one could keep them in check.

Moreover, there were many citizens of the Changfeng City who had been enraged by his recent actions. They were merely forced to remain quiet due to his overwhelming strength. The only thing that could affect the City Lord Manor was the battle that was going on within.

“How about it?” Gao Yun snorted in contempt. “Even though I don’t know how you managed to send your companion down where the Spirit Cave is, I hate to break it to you. Ancestor Yun Lu will return from the Tongyou City soon. When that happens, none of you are getting away!”
