Yang Hu received instructions from Wei Zhongwen earlier to protect him during the time he was absorbing the world origin and to stop those who would try to interfere with his business. As such, he quickly leaped into action to fight those who were approaching.

When that was happening, another terrifying change happened in the direction of the Changfeng City. The skies that had lost its color earlier from the destructive battle experienced another change. It was as though a massive sun had descended upon the lands.

A streak of light appeared above the Changfeng City and stretched towards the Tongyou City, forming a heavenly bridge.

Seeing as the bridge was about to land on the Tongyou Mysterious World, Ji Wenlong, who was fighting the spirit projection of the other Martial Dipper Realm expert from the southwestern direction created a huge blade of heaven and earth qi before slamming it down onto the bridge.

“Does the White Deer Paradise wish to interfere with the matters of our You Continent?” Ji Wenlong roared.

Before the blade could crash into the bridge, a figure could be seen strolling casually towards the Tongyou City.

“You Continent? Hmph, the You Continent should have been destroyed twenty years ago.” A smile appeared on the newcomer’s face and he casually raised his fingers to meet Ji Wenlong’s blade. The powerful blade that contained endless might was stopped dead in its tracks.

Ji Wenlong wasn’t a Martial Dipper Realm expert to begin with. He was using the power contained in the Tongyou Mysterious World to resist the spirit projection from the Martial Dipper Realm expert from the Bing Continent. 

Now that he was distracted, a jade green light flashed across his body, tearing a swathe of energy from the Mysterious Tongyou World.

Ji Wenlong regained his focus as he shattered the ray of jade green light before regaining a part of the energy it was attempting to take away.

Only then, the Martial Dipper Realm ancestor of the White Deer Paradise spoke. “Hehe, looks like I’m not the only one here.” 

“Hmph, likewise…” A deep voice rang through the skies, and even though no one could tell the direction it came from, they knew that the person who replied to the ancestor of the White Deer Paradise was the Martial Dipper Realm expert from the Bing Continent. 

In the time it took for them to exchange pleasantries, the Martial Dipper Realm ancestor from the White Deer Paradise had already appeared beside Wei Zhongwen. He also managed to control the rose-colored bridge that he summoned to land beside the region where Wei Zhongwen was absorbing the world origin that was leaking out of the Tongyou Mysterious World.

As soon as the end of the rose-colored bridge was formed, Wei Zhongwen leaped out from the huge tide of world origin. “Disciple greets Ancestor Yun Lu!” 

Ancestor Yun Lu nodded slightly. “You did well this time! I appreciate what you have done. In the future, you’ll definitely enter the large completion stage of the Martial Extermination Realm!” 

A look of excitement appeared on Wei Zhongwen’s face as he replied, “Ancestor, this disciple only carried out your plan. I only managed to accomplish this with your guidance.” 

Ancestor Yun Lu nodded yet again, and his gaze landed on Yang Hu who was right beside them. “You must be Yang Hu from the Changfeng City.” 

Bowing immediately, Yang Hu didn’t dare to show the slightest disrespect. Wei Zhongwen’s voice rang through the air before he could say anything. “Replying to Ancestor Yun Lu, this is indeed City Lord Yang Hu. He was a crucial part of our success this time!” 

Even though he was an expert at the third layer Martial Extermination Realm, Yang Hu felt his mind going blank. He didn’t know what to say to Ancestor Yun Lu.

“That’s good.” Ancestor Yun Lu muttered before turning to ignore Yang Hu completely.

Even though he heaved a sigh of relief, Yang Hu felt a sense of dissatisfaction rising in his heart after noting Ancestor Yun Lu’s nonchalance.

When he was still stuck in a state of confusion over his feelings, Wei Zhongwen arrived beside him. “Brother Yang, I need you to protect the bridge with me.” 

Even though Yang Hu didn’t know why he needed to do so with Ancestor Yun Lu present, he knew better than to question Wei Zhongwen’s command at that point. A smile returned to his face and he replied, “Naturally. I’ll do as you say.” 

The conversation between the two barely ended when Yang Hu discovered that the world origin around them had been sucked completely dry. In fact, the bridge was extending into the gap to forcefully absorb the world origin and heaven and earth qi contained in the Tongyou Mysterious World.
