Young Master of the Demonic Clan (3)

Xiao-Ai hadn’t left yet and when he saw Ruan Qingmu sitting on Fang Li’s seat, he poked him again. “You’re so good at selling things.”

Ruan Qingmu turned his head to look at him with a wary expression. “Are you here to inquire about the business secret?”

Xiao-Ai didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. “Are you crazy? The sales data says it all. Do you really need someone to relay the situation to you?”

Ruan Qingmu let out an “oh” and proceeded to completely ignore him.

He had just exchanged a few sentences with Qin Yuan on the phone last night, but he had no idea what to do now. When Qin Yuan saw the unknown number and asked him about it, he lied and said his phone was out of battery. However, Qin Yuan knew he was out late at night and became furious, forcing him to go home immediately.

When he got up early in the morning, he borrowed Mu Wanli’s phone for a while and chatted with Qin Yuan for a few minutes, but he was too embarrassed to keep hogging his mom’s phone and hastily hung up again.

At this moment, Qin Yuan must have known that he was broadcasting. Not sure if he was watching right now?

When he was distracted, the customer service girl beside him suddenly exclaimed in a small voice. “Aiya. The one who bought these twenty pieces of men’s outfits was the same person!”

Ruan Qingmu was lost in thought. When he vaguely heard this, his heart suddenly stirred, and he poked his head over. “What’s the buyer’s address again?”

Staring at the address of a local luxurious residential area on the computer screen and the familiar phone number, his eyes widened speechlessly.

“I’ll say several words with the client.” He took the customer service girl’s mouse and replied with clenched teeth, “Dear~~ Can you really wear all those by yourself?”

The person on the other side of the line replied indifferently only after a while. “Send the goods over.”

Ruan Qingmu was frustrated and amused. “Dear~~ please apply to withdraw your purchase and leave some for the other dear ones!”

The opposite party sent a question mark and was as serious as usual. “What do you mean? Do you guys limit purchases?”

Ruan Qingmu typed, “Dear~~, we don’t limit purchases, but we’re afraid, dearie, is doing some impulsive shopping~~.”

The little Wang Wang* customer service person beside him stared at him in surprise, wanting to say something. Ruan Qingmu smiled and looked at her, whispering, “I’m sorry. It’s my classmate. Just messing around with him.”

*T/N: Wang Wang: a communication tool for shopping websites.

The little sister suddenly understood. “Ohh, you better tell him to withdraw his orders. He must be joking, right?”

But students nowadays were wealthy. This piece of clothing was all heavyweight silk with a dark satin pattern, each piece cost over eight hundred. This person had bought all twenty pieces in one go, which would be sixteen thousand dollars, but they didn’t even use credit.

The man on the other side suddenly asked. “How many pieces of man’s clothes will you guys display? And how much stock is there for each set?”

Ruan Qingmu said, “Dear, what’s wrong? The thing is, you can’t hog all of them. We’ll have to limit your next purchase!”

“Then, are you guys making the model wear summer clothes? Aren’t they cold? Will you guys compensate if they’re sick?”

Ruan Qingmu looked at the screen, his heart slightly wavering with sweetness, and couldn’t help but send a stroking head emoji over. “It’s not cold. Don’t worry.”

The other side suddenly stopped talking. After a long time, someone in the conversation box hesitantly asked. “Ruan Ruan, is that you?”

Ruan Qingmu was stunned.

… How did he know that it was him?

Qin Yuan leaned against the soft-covered big bed’s headboard in the large bedroom and smiled softly.

“You didn’t say ‘dear’ just now.” He looked quietly into the conversational box and typed gently.

They wouldn’t have said anything to reassure him if it had been customer service.

Suddenly, he felt a bit of regret.

He shouldn’t have exposed him, wanting to hear him say “dear” a few more times personally.

Just as he was slightly lost in thought, a single word appeared in his phone’s Wang Wang dialogue box. “Dear~~~.”

Then, there was no more response.

Qin Yuan stared at that word in a daze and his face flushed furiously.

This wasn’t a way of addressing him. Was this a verb*?

*T/N: 亲: could be an endearment term meaning dear but also mean kiss as a verb.

His fingers faltered slightly as he raised and lowered them.

Ruan Qingmu bit his lips on the opposite side and his peach blossom eyes were watery. He was about to say something more reluctantly when a faint voice sounded behind him coldly, “Is this how young boys tease each other nowadays?”

Ruan Qingmu turned around and was so angry that he almost wanted to give this person behind him a kick. “Do you lack a beating, peeking at people’s phones like that?”

The customer service girl next to him patted him and pointed at him.

It was his turn to come up.

Xiao-Ai smirked behind his back as he hurried to run away and smiled as he sat down in front of the computer.

Qin Yuan was about to type when another line suddenly came from the opposite side. “Dear~~, send me your selfie here. I miss you.”

Qin Yuan was stunned and a strange feeling rose in his heart as he pondered for a moment. “Who are you?”

“I’m your Ruan Ruan!”

Qin Yuan frowned. “You’re not.”

The opposite side had changed.

Xiao-Ai was laughing so much that he was shaking in front of the computer, twisting his head to look at Fang Li, who had just walked over. “Your friend’s boyfriend is so cute. He’s super intelligent. I can’t believe I couldn’t trick him into sending a picture!”

Fang Li was startled. “What boyfriend?”

Ruan Qingmu scrambled to change into his next set of clothes and rushed out of the cubicle, furiously rushing to the computer and grabbing Xiao-Ai with one hand. “Who are you? Don’t talk while pretending to be me!”

Xiao-Ai hurriedly raised his hands, smiled, and silenced him. “The live broadcast is recording!”

He pushed Ruan Qingmu away and picked up his backpack. “Lao-Niang will leave. You guys have fun~~~.”

He turned back when he reached the door and threw a wink at Fang Li. “Little brother, you’re welcome to look for me, this bestie, to have a chat if you have something you don’t understand about that matter!”

Ruan Qingmu glared at him with hatred and didn’t have time to explain to Qin Yuan again, hurrying back to the camera.

Qin Yuan had closed the dialogue box for Wang Wang long ago and switched to the live broadcast page. When he looked at the screen, he was suddenly stunned.

The clothes Ruan Qingmu had worn on the previous occasions were formal Chinese costumes, more dignified than spirited. But this latest set was not very traditional and resembled costumes from ancient idol dramas like the ancient costumes used for cosplay.

The youth in the camera had black hair like a waterfall, his hair was tied with a golden crown, and he was dressed in a cloud-patterned brocade robe, with a heroic posture and eyes like morning stars.

He stretched out his slender arm and took an blunt prop sword from the wooden stand next to him, gently drawing the blade in a flickering pattern, his lips tilted slightly as he looked into the camera.

Through the screen, hundreds of miles away, a lifetime away, he looked at the person he had been thinking about in his mind.

“Hi!” He greeted softly as if joking carelessly. “I’m cosplaying as a young master of the demonic clan. I will show you all a set of sword practics. For every shaoxia out there, please correct me if I’m wrong.”
