Chapter 543 Colossal Sea Monster (Part 1)

"You can come! I'm not afraid of you!"

Kaizen's cry reverberated through the aquatic environment, echoing in the dark depths. The creature stood motionless for a moment, as if assessing the Psyker's courage and determination.

"You are bold, Psyker." replied the creature in a grave tone. "But your courage will be your undoing. Here, in this realm, I am the overlord and you are nothing more than an insignificance."

The creature's voice seemed to penetrate Kaizen's mind, echoing in his thoughts. He knew he was facing someone so powerful it was frightening, but he couldn't let himself be intimidated, after all he didn't even have the right to bargain. With his strength and condition fully renewed by the newly acquired levels, Kaizen channeled his power through the Ragnarok Sword, strengthening his will.

"Whoever you are, I will not have to fear or respect you," Kaizen declared confidently. "I came here to find answers, to end the threat posed by the Eye of Hermodr and to reclaim the King's Sword. So, I will not rest until all that is done."

The creature let out a furious roar, and the water around them churned violently. Kaizen was thrown backwards with the force of the moving water, but, as if in the air using <Psychokinesis>, he kept his spine rigid and waist balanced in order to keep his stance firm and his sword fixed.

The monster before him was truly colossal, perhaps as large or even larger than the Frost Giants, and when it came at Kaizen, all Kaizen could do in the first instant was accept that he was outmatched in almost every way.

Kaizen watched a huge mouth, with teeth that were almost as big as his own, open before him. He pushed himself back with Psychokinesis, and the mouth closed a few feet from him, rocking everything around them once more. In that moment, because he was so close to the creature, Kaizen could see what it actually looked like, and that was not a pleasant sight at all.

Contrary to what Kaizen expected from a sea monster, such as a scaly skin, he saw that the creature actually had a lot of down and the fur of this creature was white, which contrasted with the dark environment of these waters. That was only the first detail Kaizen noticed, as he didn't have time to analyze it further, after all when he saw that he couldn't swallow Kaizen, the creature swung all over again and tried to grab him with its claws.

Thus, the battle effectively began. Seeing the creature's paws coming towards him, Kaizen brandished the Ragnarok forward, creating crystal structures that were fired like bullets.

The crystal structures flew towards the creature's claws, aiming to distract it long enough for Kaizen to think of a plan to deal with this difference in size and terrain to counterattack. The glowing projectiles struck the monster's skin, but the creature's resilience was surprising. It didn't seem to be shaken by the blows, and the claws continued to rapidly approach.

Kaizen had to act quickly to avoid the impending attack. He focused on his thoughts and activated his <Giant's Lungs> ability. At the last instant, he disappeared in a blur of motion, creating a vortex beside him, and reappeared a few meters above the creature.

While the creature was still trying to understand what happened, Kaizen took the opportunity to finally launch a counterattack. He channeled his mana through the Ragnarok Sword, making it glow with intensity, and delivered a powerful blow towards the creature's one-eyed face.

Kaizen and the blade crossed the distance between them and the creatures in an instant, and the sword tore through one of the creature's eyes. However, Kaizen didn't just intend to leave a cut, because he didn't know if this monster could regenerate or not, so while cutting the monster's eye, he released even more mana into the Ragnarok, thus causing crystals to form where the sword cut.

A sharp groan echoed in the depths, indicating that the blow had done significant damage, and all the water around them once again shuddered.

Kaizen seized the moment to move away quickly, avoiding any possible counterattacks.I think you should take a look at

The creature, enraged and wounded, began to flail about even more violently. Its huge claws and tail moved frantically, threatening Kaizen in all directions even without meaning to. Kaizen had to create a shield around himself to keep from being flung away.

As he struggled to maintain the shield, Kaizen kept his mind focused, analyzing the creature's structure and looking for weak points. Now contemplating a little more calmly, this sea monster looked like a dragon, but not an ordinary dragon, but a dragon of Chinese culture, with a very long body structure.

So, when the monster finally began to calm down, Kaizen found an opening. He then concentrated all his energy into one more powerful blow. He rushed through the water, swinging his legs hard and using <Giant's Lungs> once more, but at the last moment he switched the skill to <Deep Cut>. Kaizen wished to test whether he could overcome his enemy's ordinary skin.

The Ragnarok Sword sliced through the water, striking one side of the creature, and a deafening boom echoed through the watery environment as the creature let out a scream of pain and agony.

"FUCK!!!" The creature screamed out loud now. "WHAT IS THIS POWERFUL WEAPON?"

Kaizen turned away and smiled showily. "You like it, I forged it myself, but don't be jealous, once I'm done with you I'll do something with your drops too."

"HOW DARE YOU TALK TO ME LIKE THAT? I AM THE KING OF THE SEAS!"

"Okay, okay... But how about we cut the matter short? Where is your master? Because you're obviously not the First Bishop, you're too weak."
