Chapter 312 Official Magus

The atmosphere became a bit awkward until Arthur cleared his throat.

"Aunt, why are you so concerned about something like this now?" He said, giving her a question.

To him, this was indeed a bit strange.

"What's the problem?" Isabel answered.

"It's not like you're that kind of woman, you know, you're like a matchmaker?"

Arthur thought that she needed to be teased a bit to get her to stop saying things like this.

Upon hearing his words, the woman's eyes blinked a few times, seemingly unsure of how to react to being called a matchmaker.

That left her speechless for quite a while. And then, it was as if she pretended nothing had happened.

She sat down in her chair, picking up a fork and spoon.

"Time to eat," she said.

Arthur didn't want to think about what she was thinking. That she stopped saying nonsense was enough.

Of course, she did seem to like Yukiko. While eating, she kept asking her about her life as an imperial princess and what she had been doing in Europe.

She even asked how her circle of friends in Europe was, what kind of people from different backgrounds had become her friends.

Yukiko always answered Isabel's every question.

For her circle of friends, it turned out to be dominated by nobles, there were even some of them who were also princesses, just like her.

Arthur, on the other hand, finished his food more quickly.

After finishing, he stood up immediately.

"Aunt, tonight I need to practice seriously, if there is anything you need, please wait until morning," he said.

Isabel looked at him, but she didn't answer, just waved her hand as if she was telling him to leave.

For a moment, Arthur felt like she was a bit angry, he didn't know why. Maybe now she suddenly didn't like being called a matchmaker.

Of course, to her he kept smiling.

Then, he went to the stairs and directly entered his room, even locking it tightly.

After that, he went to his bed where a suitcase lay.

He immediately opened the suitcase and took out the green-colored bird feather inside.

It was slightly glowing as he touched it now that he had slightly flowed his spiritual energy into it.

"Let's see what will happen after I absorb its energy," he said in a low voice.

Sometimes, things like this also hide their true essences, which if absorbed can give special abilities to the person who absorbs them.

Arthur could not determine what the owner of the feather was like.

If he wanted to get a better look at it, acquiring its abilities was a more reliable way.

Arthur then placed the bird feather on his thigh while he sat cross-legged.

He held the feather with both hands and began to absorb its energy, channeling it into his Spiritual Core.

Slowly, his Spiritual Core vibrated and emitted an aura consisting of various colors, then filled his bedroom with various lights.

It was the same process and went on for a long time.

At this point, Isabel and the others could sense the boundless spiritual aura of Arthur's bedroom.

Staring at it, they couldn't help but marvel at feeling such a great power.

"So he wants to break through," Isabel said in a low voice.

"With his current strength, his breakthrough will make him an Official Magus."

Official Magus?

This was a completely different level.

Arthur had told her several times that after becoming an Official Magus, one would be so powerful that one could almost act like a mythological creature.

In the end, throughout the night, Isabel and the others were unable to sleep.

How could they sleep with such a disturbance. Ordinary people might not feel it, but for spiritual beings like them, they felt as if there was a huge fire raging beside them.

Probably around 5 AM, the aura in Arthur's room finally disappeared, just like the rain suddenly stopped, without any particular signs or effects.

This left Isabel and the others somewhat unsure of what was going on in the room.

Of course, someone else would probably create a powerful explosion after breaking through to become an Official Magus.

In this place, the explosion could easily destroy this entire building.

However, Arthur had excellent control over his power.

He can minimize any effects.

The only effect is that his eyes emit lights consisting of various colors when he opens them.

Each of those lights caused vibrations in the space, as if they wanted to show their element.

Arthur then opened his mouth, letting his Spiritual Core escape from there.

It had the same shape as last time, but it clearly gave a very different feeling. The most different thing was the energy it had. It was so large that it gave the impression like it could wipe out an entire neighborhood when it exploded.

As he continued to stare at the Spiritual Core, Arthur's body slowly floated into the air.

He glanced down and smiled faintly.

Flying without wings may seem impossible, but this was the magic of magic.

Unfortunately, Arthur was so used to the sensation of flying that he didn't feel anything exaggerated anymore.

"However,"

He then looked down at his hands.

There was a different sensation in his body other than the sensation of being an Official Magus.

He opened his palm and green flames appeared there.

It was so hot that it seemed like it could easily turn steel into ashes.

"It's a bird with the power of fire, and the fire is so strong," Arthur said. He came to some conclusions although they were incomplete.

"Right, there doesn't seem to be any information about such a bird in the information I got from the Black Diamond. Is that bird not famous?"

Arthur could not know such a reason unless he actually saw the life of that time.

There are many possible scenarios. It could be that the bird is also the type that doesn't like to act conspicuously so it is not famous, only known by a few people.
