The Demon Had a Big Reaction (4)

Abel was sitting on the meditation mat in a daze. When he saw Anna pushing the door open and walking in, he said, “Why are you so happy?”

Anna said with a smile: “There was a bad guy who used demonic creatures to harm me and my companions, but we found an opportunity to beat him up secretly. The way he looked after we were done was so miserable.”

Abel twitched his mouth: “What’s there to be proud of? If you’re so capable, you should have killed him.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Anna pinched his ear. He suddenly shouted, “What are you doing!”

“Children shouldn’t talk with their fists. Be civilized!” Anna said while pinching Abel’s ears.

“Who are you calling a child!” Abel was furious, but because his ears were in Anna’s hands, he could only tuck in his chin and follow the direction of Anna’s twisting, at the same time, he said unforgivingly, “Let others be civilized, didn’t you also secretly go and beat up someone else? You are still hitting me now!”

Ana loosened Abel’s pitiful ears, nodded and said, “Hitting others is wrong, so I’ll let you return the hand.”

As she spoke, she turned her head and exposed her ears.

Abel covered her aching ears and looked at Anna’s fair ears with hatred, and then looked at her fingertips that were quietly burning the small flames that might burst at any time, and after a while, he said, “Despicable!”

Then he flopped heavily on the meditation mat and turned away from her.

“Abel.” Anna called him from behind.

Abel snorted coldly. Even if she apologized, he would not forgive her.

Next, he heard Anna say, “Tie yourself up before going to bed.”

Abel was stunned for a moment. He turned his head to look at her in disbelief, but only met Anna’s smiling eyes. He snorted heavily, sat up and said aggressively: “Come on! You tie me up! Anyway, I’m used to it!”

In the more than ten days since she had taken in Abel, Anna had not once forgotten to tie him up before going to bed. After all, safety was the priority. Seeing his resentful appearance, she did not soften her heart, and put the rope around his hand.

But just before the rope touched Abel’s hand, he suddenly twitched and fell down, and then his whole body shrank into a ball. His sharp canines bit tightly on his lips, and only a small groan escaped from the gap between his teeth.

“Abel, what’s wrong?” Anna was startled, and quickly touched Abel’s forehead. At this moment, a layer of sweat appeared on his skin, and his forehead was terrifyingly hot.

Abel didn’t have time to answer Anna. Soon the skin of his lips were bitten through by his teeth, and the taste of blood filled his mouth. He grabbed Anna’s wrist and opened his eyes to look at her. His black eyes turned a little red. He gritted his teeth and said, “Go!”

Anna’s heart was pounding like crazy. Why did it seem like he would erupt at any time?

After Abel finished speaking, he let go of Anna. She stayed there for a few seconds, then ran to the bathroom and got a basin of water. She ran back and splashed it on Abel’s face.

Although Abel’s body was still hot, it was a good thing that the hottest temperature of the human body could not be so hot that the water would evaporate directly. When the basin of water was splashed on him, the temperature on Abel’s body seemed to drop a little.

Because she didn’t know what happened to Abel, Anna was helpless and could only sit beside him and watch him gradually calm down.

She didn’t know if it was her illusion, but the dark lines on his face seemed to fade a little.

After the most painful episode passed, the rest of the pain was negligible for Abel. He opened his bloodshot black eyes and looked at Anna, who was sitting beside him and looked at him worriedly.

No one had ever cared so much about him.

He sat up slowly, only to hear Anna ask, “What happened just now? Are you all right now?”

His body was still aching, but Abel didn’t care. He looked at Anna with dark eyes and said, “The next time this happens, stay away from me.”

Anna frowned: “Why? … Could it be that you will explode into fireworks?”

Abel was stunned for a moment, and suddenly exclaimed in exasperation: “You’ll explode into fireworks!” He paused, looking confused, “What are fireworks?”

There was no such thing as fireworks here, so the “fireworks” that Anna said was a compound word composed of “smoke” and “flower” in the language here.

“If you don’t know, then forget about it. I forgive your ignorance.” Anna said generously.

“You’re the one who’s ignorant!” Abel was so angry that his teeth itched.

Of course, it was impossible for people to explode into fireworks for no reason. The same was true in this world with supernatural powers. Anna said that just to ease the atmosphere.

“Then are you all right now?” Anna spoke about what she had observed. “The dark lines on your face seem to have faded a little.”

Abel was silent for a while and said, “My physique is special. If I do that again in the future, you don’t need to worry about me, stay away from me.”

Anna nodded, she actually did nothing just now, and it was Abel who recovered by himself.

After a while of silence, Anna said, “Go wash up and rest early.”

Abel took the clothes that Anna had bought for him and went into the bathroom to change.

When Abel came out, he was facing Anna who greeted her with a smiling face: “Come on, tie  up.”

Abel stared at her and said, “I’m already like this, and you still want to tie me up!”

Anna said, “Yep.”

She didn’t give an extra word of explanation.

Abel sat down angrily and had Anna to tie herself up. He thought angrily, it was just an illusion just now. She didn’t care about him at all!
