Coming to the Demon’s Rescue (3)

Magnolia smiled, her eyes glanced away briefly. She looked at Anna again, and smiled deeply.

Anna followed Magnolia’s gaze and found that there were several ladies surrounding the demon. These ladies in their 30s and 40s looked at the demon with blatant eyes, as if they wanted to tear into him in public.

Anna walked over quickly, she was worried that the demon would overturn this place in anger!

When Anna approached, she just heard a lady say delicately: “Mage Raymond, I used to think that you did not get close to women, but I didn’t expect you to be at the age where you have a lover. You should have said it earlier, that kind of young girl can’t know as much as I do.”

As she said this, she reached out to touch the demon’s chest, but the latter nimbly avoided her.

Anna looked at the demon’s face in horror, only to see his gloomy face, looking at these ladies as if he was looking at a corpse. He squeezed out from the gap between his clenched teeth: “Scram!”

But these ladies had dealt with many people, and they merely smiled, with no intention of leaving. Someone said: “Mage Raymond, you don’t have to be so shy, the love between men and women is the most wonderful thing that the goddess has given us. When the time comes to enjoy it, don’t hesitate.”

Anna saw the light condensing in the demon’s left hand, but these ladies were unaware. She almost knocked away the lady standing in front of her, and suddenly rushed over and hugged the demon’s arm.

Rothgarr was getting upset by these old women. When he saw someone jumping over, he almost lost control. When he saw Anna, he stopped abruptly, and because of the inertia brought by Anna’s forward jump, he had no choice but to hug her. He took a small step back to stabilize himself.

With the flesh and fragrance of a beauty in his arms, Rothgarr’s anger caused by the group of women dissipated. He hugged Anna tightly, glanced coldly at the ladies who surrounded him, and sneered: “You guys don’t even compare to the dust on the soles of Anna’s shoes. Scram.”

The ladies’ faces were extremely ugly. They had just heard that Mage Raymond had recently started to contact women, and they thought that there might be a chance to eat him, so they all rushed over. Little lovers, they didn’t mind sharing, so there was not even a sense of competition between them, as long as one could eat, the other eventually could, too.

Young boys have little experience; if they brought out the tricks they collected over the years, how could he not like it?

But unfortunately, a little girl came out to get in the way.

For the ladies who had gradually faded into the background in these years, young girls were their eternal enemy. They had no idea that their lives had just been saved; they all looked at Anna with hostility in their eyes, as if they wanted to swallow her alive.

Anna noticed the hostility of these ladies, and thought that her good heartedness was not rewarded. She was their savior!

One of the ladies said: “Mage Raymond, don’t be so quick to reject us. You have only tasted this Anna, how can you be sure that she is the best?”

The lady spoke with her chest puffed out, her endowed figure causing a proud expression to sit on her face; she even threw a wink: “She is at most an immature green peach, and I am a ripe honey peach. Do you really not want to taste it?”

Anna’s face blushed when she heard this. This was happening under the public eye. She was truly witnessing the tolerance and even connivance of men and women in this world.

The act of finding lovers was all done so openly; their husbands were probably here in the room, too.

Or, Raymond’s body was so attractive that these ladies didn’t even care about their faces anymore, and came to fight for him.

Anna felt that Magnolia was a little more capable than she imagined to be able to provoke these ladies over here.

Of course she couldn’t admit defeat at this time, but it would be too shameless for her to fight with them. They were not embarrassed, but she was embarrassed for them.

“Goddess’s gift?” Anna laughed suddenly. She raised her hand and a long flame suddenly appeared on the tip of her index finger, “A group of trash who don’t even have elemental affinity, and talking about the goddess’s gift, isn’t it funny?”

There also seemed to be flames on the faces of these ladies, and they stared at Anna furiously.

Anna hooked her finger, and the flames on her fingertips disappeared instantly. She snuggled in the demon’s arms obediently, and turned her head to look at these ladies with a haughty expression on her face: “Raymond is a two-star mage, and he is about to become a three-star mage. What do you guys count for? Count it as my loss if he even looks at you one more time. The only people who are qualified to accompany him are those with elemental affinity like me, you good-for-nothings.”

Ana successfully changed the topic from the issue between men and women to the issue of element affinity, but the mocking effect was even better.

It was impossible to perform the no pants dance in public. It would be difficult to say for sure who slept with who, but whether someone had an elemental affinity or if they could learn spells, this could not be so easily confused.

Anna’s insult “good-for-nothings” pierced the hearts of these ladies. They were not poor commoners, and they naturally had money at home. They were sent to test for affinity of elements when they were young, but none of them had any.

Even among nobles, elemental affinity was very rare – in fact, whether one was a noble or a commoner, the probability of having elemental affinity was the same, but because nobles had money and could test for it, the Mage Association was largely made up of nobles, which gave the illusion that elemental affinity was more likely to appear in nobles – every noble had the dream of becoming a mage.
