It was Tuesday, the day after I had a passionate debate over the ‹Strongest Training Manual› for ‹Wiseman› with Mert.

Yesterday was a blast. I mean, it had been so long since I have had such a heated discussion regarding ‹Strongest Training Manual›. I even made a new discovery from that debate, which was enough to add a new training route to the ‹Strongest Training Manual›.

A discussion with Mert was really worthwhile.

Things are basically sorted out, now Mert will join ‹Eden› as soon as he is done with his withdrawal procedure from ‹Golden Beast›.

I would like to have another debate with him once he joins in.

We also live in the same aristocratic dormitory apparently, so I can also call him out to my room. Well Well, it's been a while since I'm so fired up.

Anyways, it was another day to attend classes.

I had breakfast with Hannah like other days, and was heading to the classes like usual when I keenly noticed the gazes.

I recalled the whole debacle with the boys consumed in jealousy yesterday, and indeed, the gazes were dripping with envy and jealousy, and I could also hear resentment filled voices.

I and Hannah were attracting quite a lot of attention , it seems.

"What's wrong, Zephyr-kun?"

"Well, nothing. I was just wondering if it's really alright for Hannah to walk with me for classes."

"Hmm? What do you mean?"

It seems like Hannah's surroundings are still safe from the boy’s influence.

Wait, does that mean it's only happening around me? Ah well, whatever.

If I had been in the same position, I would have also targeted myself than Hannah. It's just an example, okay.

"Then see you after classes, Zephyr-kun."

"Yeah. But you should really pay attention to your surroundings. Take the crowded roads as much as possible, and try to avoid any situation where you're alone."

"Huh? Yes. I got it? But why so suddenly?"

"I'm worried about you after all."

"Eh? Phew, geez, you're such a worrywart, Zephyrs-kun. Ehehe."

I sees off Hannah who heads for the production major building while fleetingly glancing at my side, her face a shade of red for some reason.

Is she going to be alright, really? She didn't seem like she has taken my words to heart no matter how I see.

She worries me. Maybe, I should hire someone as her guard for her. Fortunately, there's a whole load of QP for that.

I was really concerned about boys unceasingly calling her Hannah-sama, Hannah-sama.

For now, let's see if I can have a calm talk with Saturn and others.

Well, he's more or less the leader of those maddened boys and I can handle things about myself, but I must make them clear out if they are also planning to trouble Hannah.

I had just arrived at ‹Combat Department› building while consumed by such thoughts when the scene in front of me gave a deja-vu.

"I was waiting for you, Zephyr!"

Saturn shouted as the representative, and behind him was a horizontal row of boys similar to what I had seen yesterday.

Holy damn, it's basically the replication of yesterday's scene.

Something is strange. They were dragged by the guards yesterday for sure, so why are they repeating the same farce? Then as I stared at them curiously, Polish-kun also stepped forward and said.

"We have reflected on our actions. We ended up making enemies out of those we shouldn't have. We must not sadden the princess! But aside from that, I despise the Brave."

"What do you mean?"

I couldn't help but blurt out.

However, Polish-kun continued non-stop.

"It is unfortunate, truly unfortunate, that we have to give up on the idea of poaching Brave. But! We can no longer stop ourselves until we smash Brave with our jealousy."

"That's right! We won't stop. We can't stop anymore!"

"I hate the Brave and jealous of him! I hate the Brave and jealous of him"

"Go and be blown away! No, I'll make you explode by myself!"

"I wholeheartedly pray for the popular guys to vanish from this world!"

The upperclassmen behind them shouted in voices even smaller than yesterday. How skillful of them to shout in such quiet voices. It seems that being dragged away by the guards hasn't straightened them out completely.

Or perhaps, only a portion of them has been straightened out?

"We have welcomed even more like-minded comrades to our rank to surpass the guild ‹Eden›!"

Hmm? I think Polish-kun just said something I couldn't ignore.

I stopped staring blankly and started counting the members of ‹Best of the Best, the Great Star› in my mind.

1, 2, 3... and there were 25 people. It increased by three from yesterday.

"Why the hell are you multiplying!"

I yelled, I mean, who would not? What the hell is going on with these guys in the name of god?

Are there really so many people consumed by jealousy?

I don't even know what the heck is happening anymore.

Just as I was confused with all that, a voice of salvation resounded. It was a cheerful and lively voice, and its owner was Misato.

"Good morning, Zephyr-kun. And Polish-kun and you guys. What are you guys up to?"

No, let me correct myself. She wasn't the saviour. At least not for them.

Because as soon as Misato approached, she suddenly stood in front of me.

That sight looked as if she was protecting me from the boys. Heck, it can only be interpreted that way in fact.

"W-W-W-Weut are you doing, Misato-san...?"

Polish-kun's words were falling apart at the sight that played before him. Unlike against, his tone was feeble.

I checked on the other guys, their eyes were wide open as well.

"Everyone, I joined Guild ‹Eden› yesterday. It's just on a temporary basis though."

"............"

Misato's words awfully reverberated vividly across the schoolyard.

All the boys fell into silence, as if their brains were refusing to process reality. No, maybe their brain crashed?

After a while, they slowly began to acknowledge both the facts from the scene presented in front of themselves, and Misato's words. The instant their brain processed the reality they were trying not to acknowledge——

Their faces instantly transformed into that of a demon who has straight come out of the hell.

"Braveeeeeee!!!!"

"You damn Braveeeee! You damnedddddd!!"

"The audacity of your! How dare you touch our idol!"

"Not our Princessss! Absolutely unforgivableeeee!"

"Setup ‹Duel Battle›! Tear the Brave apart! Tear him to pieces!"

"Give back Misato-san! I can't function without her!"

It was pandemonium. Yup, I knew it would turn out like this for sure.

They're no longer consumed by jealousy, instead, they were like the literal personification of jealousy at this point.

Now it's left to see what Misato will do.

"It's all your fault, everyone! Seriously, you all are so deplorable!"

Dead silent.

All the shouting and screaming from a second ago instantly stopped the moment Misato opened her mouth again. Huh? They stopped? Why?

Have they finally enlightene— or not, they still wore the demonic expression from earlier. To be honest, that group of hideous visages really scares me.

"Even though I ran all over the place just so that you guys will be fine even when I'm not there to look after you, and yet to fall so far! You should have known how pathetic it is to trouble other people!"

The group of demonic faces silently listened to Misato's scolding.

"I have joined ‹Eden› precisely to stop all of you. Sure, your guid has become a boy's only guild because no girl wanted to join it, but that doesn't mean you can cause inconvenience to other people, you know? If you didn't stop, then I will have to forcibly stop you."

I heard sniffling and sobbing from somewhere. I guess it must be their reaction after being called 'Boy's only'.

"Everyone... you understand, don't you?"

Though Misato seemed to believe that her words had gotten through them.

You're naive, Misato. A persuasion of that level isn't enough to curb the jealousy of these boys.

As if to prove my words, a person donning a furious expression, presumably Saturn, turned towards myself.

"Zephyr. We will absolutely defeat you!"

"Ah. I see...... then let's have a guild battle I guess."

"Huh?"

It was only Misato who was out of the loop from all of this, clueless about the situation. So the guild battle between ‹Best of the Best, the Great Star› and ‹Eden› is inevitable after all, huh.

Oh well, so be it. Time to make them bite the dust.
