Guild battle's ‹Capture the Castle› outcome is mainly based on points, but there are also some exceptions to it.

One of those exceptions was the complete wipeout of either team.

Some special rules are adopted in such cases.

In case one of the teams gets wiped out, the victor would then be the remaining team if their points surpassed the points of the eliminated team. But if remaining team points are insufficient, they still have the chance of winning as long as they could manage to score higher points in the leftover time, however victory would then belong to the eliminated team if they were unable to do so.

Now one might wonder if such exceptions do really happen or not but in fact, it was quite a common method where one team would beat another team if they messed up on their first move and lagged behind in points.

However Big Castle has massive HP and it wasn't possible to take them down with a small number of people in the short term. Not to say just moving from one target to another takes so much time that one simply can't relax even after wiping out the opponent team. They have to rush for overturning the point difference in the remaining time on the field now devoid of opponents to hinder their movement.

For example, eliminating all the members of an opponent team in a ‹5 person battle› but they themselves lost 4 members, then it would be hard to overturn the outcome. They might have won the battle, but lost the war.

On the other hand, a team that had been wiped off would pray from the ‹Loser's Room› that their opponent doesn't succeed in gaining an edge.

‹Dungeon Activity› also had the feature to make characters assume poses so it was quite popular among those residing in the ‹Loser's Room› to take various poses in the form of prayer in the free time they had.

There used to be such interesting scenes to watch.

A lot of such exciting videos used to be uploaded when I was still playing ‹Dungeon Activity› and they never failed to crack me up. Although regular guild battle videos were also impressive and fun, those videos were popular because of the different kind of excitement they induce.

That fervor, those loads of comments and then the scene of the team in ‹Loser's Room› all together taking ORZ pose when the reversal happened in the score just when time was almost about to end.

Aah, recalling those memories made me crave for these videos once again.

Back to myself, it was the information about the game set and exam over.

On the screen “Exam over due to the complete wipeout of the opponent's team” was written.

In other words, all the members of ‹Best of the Best, the Great Star› were defeated.

Saturn-kun and Jilong-kun were supposed to be still there but it seemed like Lana and others had wiped them out. Well, whatever.

Now I was most curious about the situation in the ‹Loser's Room›. Man, isn't there anyone who might have taken a video? Come to think of it, I haven't seen anything like the video here in reality.

No, wait, don't we have that screen there. I wonder if it has a recording feature? I made up my mind to ask about it with the Sensei later.

"Hn, going back, Zephyr?"

"Right. It kind of ended too early but good work."

After all, it has just been 6 minutes since the mock guild battle started. I'm sure Lana should be grumpy right now. I can easily imagine her complaining “Not Exciting Enough!”.

Well all of this is the fault of ‹Best of the Best, the Great Star›. It's all their fault to lose so easily even though they come challenging me so pompously.

Certainly, there's this saying “Lv isn't everything in the guild battle”.

But, that's only if we're not talking about PvP battles. Lv difference obviously matters if they're going to initiate them.

That's why Lana, it's not me you should be thinking of complaining too, but to them, alright? Ah, but Misato is like a helper so let's not complain to her too much.

We reached our base just as I was thinking about such things.

Squares don't change their color when tracing back so we were able to reach quickly with mine and Karua's speed.

Lana, Rika and Karua were already awaiting us in the base.

"We're back~"

"Ah! You're back, Zephyr! We're going to do one more battle!"

"Hmm?"

I could only blink in confusion hearing unexpected words. What did she say just now?

"Lana-sama discussed with Kamui-sensei and since there was still time left to use the arena, Lana-sama managed to get permission for one more battle. However, it would only be for 20 minutes."

"So that's the story."

It wasn't until Shizu explained it that I understood the in and out of the situation.

Arena is quite in demand so its usage time is managed strictly. That's why we only got permission for one mock guild battle. But as things stand, the first guild battle was wrapped in a few minutes so it made it possible for us to go through the second guild battle.

Good grief, you should explain in more detail if that's the case, Lana. Though that's lucky we managed to get permission.

"Hurry up and get ready within one minute!"

That's too short!

"Well, we only need to recover MP and that's all. HP is completely intact so there's no problem right?"

"Hn, all okay."

Karua and I put our hand on our waist and gulped down the Hannah marked potions. We both were all ready after repeating this a few times.

"I was just contacted by Kamui-sensei. It seems like ‹Best of the Best, the Great Star› is going to take a bit more time to get their preparation ready."

I almost fell over at Rika's report.

What the heck was that about getting ready in one minute then...

Three minutes after Rika's report, our opponents were finally done with their preparation.

It seemed ‹Best of the Best, the Great Star› had declared they're absolutely going to win this time in the chat message Rika received.

Hoho. That's a nice spirit they have to declare even after going through a crushing defeat a while ago.

There's a chance they might have come up with a counter strategy since we have shown them a bit of our method.

We're going to smash them with our full might this time.
