Chapter 296 - Barging

When Jinhee heard no reply from Han Taeho after knocking on the door, she decided to invite herself into the room. Being stared by all the servants did not feel pleasant to Jinhee, and she preferred to avoid such a situation.

"Sorry for barging in," Jinhee mumbled as she walked into the room.

Slowly closing the door behind her, Jinhee stared at her surroundings. It seemed to be a bedroom, and when Jinhee's eyes fell on the bed, there was something which caught her eyes.

Influenced by her curiosity, she walked towards the bed, and seeing the shining object, Jinhee bent down to pick it up. While her hand held on to it, she found the bracelet looking extremely familiar.

Turning it over, she saw the initials LJH and mumbled, "Oh! Isn't this Taehyun's?"

On their last date together, Jinhee and Taehyun got a pair of couple bracelet customized with both of their initials carved into it. As Jinhee extended her hand forward, a similar looking bracelet was upon her hand.

"What it is doing here though? Could it be that he is here? No way! After all, Taehyun is at school," Jinhee muttered to herself as a chuckle left her mouth.

Thinking about Han Taehyun, Jinhee decided upon giving the boy a call for he would be a great help when it came to calming her nerves down, and due to her nervousness, Jinhee did not want to end up doing the wrong things.

Reaching her hand into her pocket, Jinhee took out her phone, and after checking the time, she decided to place a call at him for it was the lunch break now.

As the call went through, Jinhee heard the sound of phone ringing inside the room, and creases appeared both of her eyebrows while she stared at it.

Lying on top of the bed was a phone, and after the call on Jinhee's phone was directed to voice mail, that phone stopped ringing as well. Curious, Jinhee pressed on the call sign, and this time as well that phone rang up.

The ringtone was exactly same as the one used for Taehyun's phone, and after keeping the bracelet down on the bed, Jinhee extended her hand to pick up the phone.

Seeing her name on top of the screen confirmed her suspicion, and she learned that this was indeed Taehyun's phone. This left her wondering about why Taehyun lied to her about going to school when he was coming her and why that Man led her to here, instead of Taeho's room.

At that moment, Jinhee thought about giving Taeho a call about the entire thing. She did not know any of the staffs here and had no clue regarding whom to ask about it.

After swiping her finger across the phone, she spotted Taeho's name, and pressing on the screen, she directed a call towards him. Once again, to her shock, Taehyun's phone rang up.

Lee Jinhee's eyes widened, and turning her head towards Taehyun's phone, surprise hit her when she saw her name in front of the screen.

Hanging up the call, Jinhee placed another call at the same number after checking the numerals, and Taehyun's phone began to ring up again. The entire situation was not something Jinhee could comprehend.

That is when the door to the bathroom in front of her opened, and raising her head, Jinhee looked at that direction. A man walked out of the bathroom, and his appearance caused Jinhee to let out a gasp.

She had no idea on whether or not to identify the man in front of her as Taeho or Taehyun. The man absolutely resembled Taehyun, but what remained different about him was his green eyes.

"Jinhee, what are you doing here?" The boy asked.

Jinhee's eyes widened at his voice. Although from his green eyes Jinhee had an inkling that it was Taeho, his voice sounded completely like Taehyun's.

Staring at the table before her, Jinhee saw a mask laying on top of it, and she had a difficulty comprehending her current situation.

"W-Who are you? Taehyun or Taeho? No, is Taehyun and Taeho the same person?" Jinhee questioned while her eyes stared sternly at the boy.

"Listen, Jinhee, there is—"

"Answer me first. Are Taeho and Taehyun the same person?" Jinhee vocalised.

The boy before her took a step closer to her, but Jinhee backed away. Letting out a sigh, the boy looked towards the ground and nodded.

"I guess you can say that both of us are the same," Taehyun confessed.

Jinhee took a step back, and staring at Taehyun in disbelief, she vocalised, "So, all this time, you were lying to and fooling me. You and Taeho are the same. No, what was all that act about! Everything! Everything is just confusing! I guess it will be better for me to leave at this moment! I don't think I will be able to handle all this at this moment."

Jinhee's mind went blank at that instant, and she felt as if her chest was mercilessly stabbed at that moment. She had a difficulty breathing. If she continued staring at Taehyun at this rate, she might collapse any second.

"No, Jinhee, wait—"

Jinhee raised her hand up and stumbled back. Taehyun extended his hand towards Jinhee in order to help her, but she turned her back on Taehyun to run away from that place.

Han Taehyun called after her, but ignoring his calls, Jinhee opened the door to the room before rushing out of the room. Tears flowed down her eyes as she ran out, and she did not understand on what to think about at this very moment.

As she ran past them, the staffs stared at her strangely, and immediately after her, Han Taehyun walked out of the room. He was barely dressed, and his eyes were in his original state.

No mask were on his face, and the sight of him like that was able to shock everyone working there. This was the first time they had seen him like this.
