Chapter 252 - Responsibility

"Nothing you will be doing is going to change my determination, so show me what is it that you are hiding," Lee Jinhee vocalised whilst wearing a determined expression.

Extending his hand towards Jinhee, Taehyun said, "It is nothing like what you are thinking. Now, stop overreacting, and go to bed. You can get up early then, and study for the last two exams."

Lee Jinhee scoffed and pointed out, "I am not sleepy at this moment, and until you show me what you are hiding from me, I wouldn't go to bed. If you don't show me on your phone, I will be checking on mine."

"You are really stubborn, Jinhee, and this side of yours is really cute," Taehyun vocalised as he brought his face closer to Jinhee.

As she felt his warm breath upon her face, she could very well feel what he was trying to do, and pretending to get closer to him, she extended her hand towards him.

Whilst her eyes stared straight at Han Taehyun's, she held the phone, and catching him off guard, she pulled away the phone from him.

Before he could take back the phone from her, she stood up from the bed, and as she smiled at him, he vocalised, "Lee Jinhee, give me back my phone."

As she stuck her tongue out towards Han Taehyun, she rushed towards the washroom before he could catch her. As Han Taehyun pushed to open the door of the washroom, she forcefully closed it and locked the door.

"Jinhee, open the door. Don't open the phone; If you do, I swear I will kiss you hundred times daily without brushing my teeth," Han Taehyun threatened.

Staring at the phone, a serious expression sat upon her face. Lee Jinhee had no interest in seeing other's personal things. Nonetheless, seeing how Han Taehyun prevented her from seeing her phone meant that this was related to her.

Jinhee had no idea on what Taehyun was protecting her from. Nonetheless, she knew that she had to become strong enough to confront that.

As she turned on the screen, she was greeted with a screen with number pad beneath it and asked, "Taehyun, what is your password?"

"Jinhee-ah, just because you managed to snatch the phone from me doesn't mean you can open my phone," Taehyun voiced out, "Now, it would be better for you to come out, and hand me my phone."

"Then, I will just keep on trying the passwords until I get it right and stay here," Jinhee stated, "After all, a washroom isn't that bad of a place."

Using her hand, she began to type in the first things she thought would be the password— which was a six digit number. Nonetheless, seeing the word 'wrong', she understood that Taehyun's birthday was not the password.

Then, she decided to try her birthday date. However, that came as wrong as well, and biting her lips, she did not know which number to try next. She did not know his parents' birth date. However, she did not take for him to be someone who would use his parents' birthday as she password.

There were three more tries left for her, and biting her lips, Jinhee started thinking about the special numbers to Taehyun. She tried the first digits of his number and her number; Both of them turned out to be a fail.

"Jinhee-ah, you wouldn't be able to guess my password," Taehyun said, "Only one more time, and then, it is done."

"Even if one more chance is left, I will get it right, Han Taehyun," Jinhee voiced out.

Nervousness filled Lee Jinhee as she began to think about what the password could be, and then, she remembered about the day they have first met. Betting her guess on that, Jinhee tried inputting that as the password.

After she had typed in the last number, she stared at the screen in anticipation, and seeing that the screen had finally opened, a wide smile formed on Jinhee's face.

She exclaimed, "I opened your phone, Taehyun-ah! Who would have thought you would put something as cliche as this as your password?"

"Yah! Yah! Yah! Jinhee, please don't look at screen. Alright, I will admit. It is related to you, but don't be an idiot and get worried over it," Taehyun said.

Turning back, Lee Jinhee opened the door and smiled at Taehyun. She was not keen on the idea of invading privacy anyway, and now that he had confirmed her suspicion, she could check the matter in her phone.

"What is it about me?" She questioned whilst raising one of her eyebrows.

"Don't worry! I am not a little kid, who would get offended by such thing," Jinhee voiced out, "How weak do you even think I am?"

Han Taehyun took in a deep breath and said, "As your boyfriend, it is my responsibility to protect you."

Extending his hand towards Jinhee, he was about to take his phone away from Jinhee when she raised her hand and wore a scowl upon her face.

"Shin Soyeon is there to protect me, and if I wanted to have a boyfriend who could protect me, I would go and look for someone who is stronger than you," Jinhee expressed, "Now, show me what rumours are circulating about me."

"You're really not going to give me peace unless or until you see this, right? I guess it doesn't seem to be a bad idea to give you my shoulder to cry at," Taehyun vocalised.

"Aish! I doubt some fake rumors can make me cry," Jinhee stated, "Now, let me see what the matter is."

As Lee Jinhee took the phone down, she noticed that the phone's screen had closed, and after switching it on, Jinhee inserted the password. As Taehyun peeked at the screen beside her, Jinhee's eyes scanned over the contents over of the post.

As Lee Jinhee's eyes read over the contents of the forum, Taehyun's eyes scanned her face, trying to read the emotions on her face.
