Chapter 151 - Hidden

A man held on a stoic expression as he sat upon his chair, and in front of him was a table with papers on it in an orderly manner. His eyes scanned through some documents. Shades of neutral coloured the office.

The door to the office opened, and removing his glasses, the man raised his line of sight to look at the direction of the door. His assistant stepped into the room.

The assistant bowed respectfully and spoke out, "President Kwon, I apologise for barging in. Miss Kwon—"

Before he was able to continue, another set of footsteps were heard, and a lovely looking girl stepped into the room. Her blond hair was tied into two ponytails, and a knee-length, cute dress was worn by her, making her look younger than her actual age.

"You can leave now," Kwon Youngmi ordered.

Bowing timidly at Kwon Youngmi, the assistant stepped out of the room and made sure to close the door behind him as he walked away. Kwon Youngmi was extremely scary, and he did not want to ever get on her bad side. He had personally seen how cruel it could be.

"Dad, you seem to be busy," Kwon Youngmi voiced out— an innocent smile playing on her face.

Using a nonchalant tone, he asked, "What do you need?"

The true side of his daughter wasn't unknown to her, but now that he was the president, he couldn't let the media know about it. Otherwise, trouble would be created for him, and his position can be potentially threatened as well.

"About transferring to Starlight Highschool, I assume that you have taken care of it, Dad!" Kwon Youngmi said cutely— her voice sounding threatening.

She then added, "I want to start school as soon as possible and make lots of new friends."

Her father understood the meaning of making new friends, and continuing to be expressionless, he said, "Yes, I have. You can start school on Monday, and I expect you to be in the best of your behaviours."

Kwon Youngmi's smile widened as she answered, "Thank you, dad! I'll promise to not create any troubles and bring back your son-in-law."

President Kwon did not give any reply. He just hoped she would bring him any major problem which he would be unable to solve or shake his position.

Yawning, Lee Jinhee stretched her arms as she sat up on the bed. After the nap, her stomach felt at ease, and she had learnt her lesson. No matter what the reason was, she wasn't going to force herself to eat that much again.

Lee Jinhee heard knocks on the door, and she spoke out, "You can come in."

Lee Jinhee had guessed the person to be Han Taehyun. However, when the door to the room opened, Han Jihye stepped inside of the room, and Lee Jinhee felt somewhat disappointed.

'No, Jinhee, you're not disappointed. You're just surprised that it is not Taehyun because usually he is the one who comes to pester you.'

A worried expression sat on Han Jihye's face as she walked towards Lee Jinhee's bed, and standing in front of Jinhee, she voiced out, "I had heard about what had happened earlier from Taehee. That boy can be extremely naughty at times! How are you feeling now, Dear? Do you need anything?"

"I'm feeling fine, Jihye-ssi, and I don't need anything. Both of us were at fault though," Lee Jinhee spoke out.

She, then, added, "And Jihye-ssi, I know Taehee's actual name, Taehyun."

Han Jihye let out a breath of relief.

"It seems that both of you had a talk earlier and settled everything. That boy, Han Taehyun can be mischevious at times, but he isn't bad at heart. I hope you can look after him. I apologise if my request troubles you," Han Jihye voiced out

"You don't need to be that courteous, Jihye-ssi. Since both of us are friends, I'll make sure to take care of him," Jinhee said.

When Han Jihye had made that request, Lee Jinhee did not have the heart to reject her and, therefore, agreed with it. After all, she did not want to displease the woman in front of her.

That's when, Lee Jinhee heard another set of footsteps entering into the room, and turning towards the direction of the door, Lee Jinhee saw that Taehyun was entering into the bedroom.

"Mom, Dad is calling for you," Han Taehyun voiced out. His hands were tucked into his jeans' pockets, and his hair was messily styled.

'Is it okay for him to walk around like that? Aren't there maids or butler?'

Han Taehyun turned to face Jinhee and, with a wink, expressed, "The way you're looking at me will make others think that you like me."

Lee Jinhee scoffed and stared at Han Jihye instead.

"I'll go and see what that man needs then." Han Jihye sighed.

"Why does he have to call me so many times daily? He's an adult yet he can't take care of himself! As much as I want to stay here and chat, it seems that I have to go, Jinhee-ah. Let's have a chat later when that sorry excuse of an adult man is not present," Han Jihye spoke out.

Resisting the urge to laugh at Han Jihye's words, Lee Jinhee put on a polite smile on her face and nodded. Standing up, Han Jihye walked towards the direction of the door, and when she was in front of Han Taehyun, she stopped in her steps for a moment.

"And you, Han Taehyun, don't stir up another trouble," Han Jihye reminded.

Taehyun simply scrunched up his nose playfully and said, "I'll see about it."

As Han Jihye walked out of the room, Han Taehyun immediately rushed to Lee Jinhee's side and asked, "How are you feeling now, Jinhee-ah? I'm sorry; It's my fault for provoking you."

Han Taehyun stared at the ground, and to Lee Jinhee, he looked like a dejected puppy. A compulsive urge to pat his head rose within Lee Jinhee, and kneeling down on the bed, Lee Jinhee stretched her back and hand up.

Looking at Han Taehyun's hair, Lee Jinhee wondered on how it would feel against her hand, and subconsciously, she reached her hand out to pat his head.

'Ah! His hair quite soft despite being hidden under a wig.'

Lee Jinhee's actions surprised Han Taehyun and herself as well. Han Taehyun did not mind it and wanted for her to continue. On the other hand, Lee was confused with herself. What was she doing?

Coughing, Lee Jinhee pulled her hand back, and an awkward smile played on her face.

"I-I just wanted to see how your hair felt. After all, it was being hidden under a wig for a long time."
