Pov. Thor.

I had been on this island for decades without any hint of success in finding the Telkhines. I was thinking about giving up... At least I tried, although I didn't get the expected results.

I was giving up for good reason... My time was running out, and I didn't fully trust the Greeks.

The Greek pantheon had just emerged from the civil war and was supposed to be establishing the government, however...

They are doing everything in the most random way possible! And they were just focusing their attention on the Helladic people, although I can understand it, seeing as they were the most populous people in Greece today.

In addition to doing something completely outrageous...

Metis was gone and it didn't take a week for Zeus to have his eyes turning to another goddess who had enchanted him.

And just like that, I got word from Thetis that Zeus had married Themis, the spy who worked as an undercover agent in Cronus' domain.

I had a pretty good idea where Metis was... I just didn't want to cause a ruckus by blowing a hole in Zeus' head, so I waited for the one that would help Zeus get rid of a nagging headache.

Hephaestus.

I don't deny that I always wanted to meet such a god... Unfortunately, I can't exactly bring him into my pantheon for obvious reasons.

So far Zeus hasn't shown symptoms of a headache or anything, and even if he did, he wouldn't interfere, because I don't exactly want to get too involved with these people...

After all, I was waiting for the moment of my 'destruction' to arrive.

I just had to wait for some cataclysm, be it a flood or an earthquake, and that's it, I would teleport to the Ahvenanmaa Islands, which were still uninhabited...

Although I don't think it would do any good, after all I didn't want to meddle further with the new Greek divine pantheon. Also, technically, I had already brought something... and it was the simplest form of toilet paper for my Greek people.

The question is... When will the cataclysm occur for me to finally leave this human form.

As I was starting to delve into my thoughts, a presence in the room caught my eye.

I looked and saw a god who started to visit me more often, but not as often as Thetis.

"...Hello brat, what brings my not-so-humble home," I said while chuckling a little.

"I hate you," said the being.

It was Hera, and the reason for that was that wherever Thetis went, Hera followed close behind.

The two ended up being best friends and inseparable, especially after the war, which only strengthened the bonds of friendship.

What I found strange at the time was that Hera came alone...

"... It's rare to see you alone... What are you doing here?" I asked, curious.

Hera looked at me and snorted in response.

"Mother thinks that for us to establish our dominions over you humans, we must relate to the three peoples, who are currently separated, and get involved and influence their cultures, you are the leader of the second largest people in our territory and I, along with Thetis, we are charged with influencing your people," said Hera.

"Do you expect my people to just accept you as the new gods?" I asked.

Hera just shrugged.

"The Helladics and Cycladics have accepted us very well. The Helladics mostly, so much so that they've already created paintings and stories about us and our birth and conflict with Cronus. And finally your people, the Aeolites, which is definitely the most advanced human settlement" said Hera, crossing her arms.

I could only stare in disbelief before shrugging my shoulders.

"...You are free to try, but without mind control or forcibly, if any of my people want to worship you, they must do so of their own free will," I said.

Although they would hardly succeed after all my people didn't like the Helladics very much and they would hardly accept their same religion.

My answer seemed to irritate Hera.

"But your people already worship you as if you were a god!" said Hera, complaining.

I just shrugged.

"Yes, but I never asked to be worshiped as one. In fact, if they decide to start a cult of anyone or anything, as long as it's of their own free will, they have my full support," I said.

What can I say... Humans are complicated.

I would never impose religion by the sheer factor of human nature, so I would just let the decision of whom to praise rest with them.

"No! No! It's just... My brother Zeus moved quite fast after Mtis disappeared, and marrying Themis quickly, for me I feel a little..." said Hera, stopping and thinking about her next words carefully.

Hera expressed appreciation for Thor speaking such a word.

It was strange for Thor to see Hera smiling sincerely for the first time at him, given that it only took a walk and conversation that made Hera's mood towards him change so much, but he didn't really care and just chose to point out the obvious.

"...Must be your domain reacting to the act, don't dwell on it too much..." said Thor.

Hera looked thoughtful at the answer but accepted it due to it being the most likely for the feeling that had been bothering her since Zeus had remarried, caring little for the still 'missing' first wife.

A short time later, Thor and Hera reached the part of the city of Knossos that was home to most of the temples.

The priestesses were soon instructed by Thor to take care of Hera, as well as explaining that the city would be hosting divine beings in the near future. In the short time Hera ended up staying, she had marked the people of the temple with her presence.

Little did Thor know, that times of peace would change violently in just a few years...

As Thor made his way back to Knossos palace, some fishermen had run towards him screaming about a giant oyster on the beach and it was impossible for them to open.

Thor reacted quickly by shooting towards the beach, not with the intention of fighting, but with the intention of snatching the oyster and what was valuable inside, which could very well be the biggest pearl he had ever seen, and considering that at the time it was considered the pearl to be the most expensive 'jewel' in the ancient world.

Thor would make the pearl the primary medium of exchange for the Kostr he would propose.

As Thor found and opened the giant oyster, he found a golden-colored pearl the height and width of a car tire.

Thor just ignored the cries for help, nothing could take away his smile as he looked at the giant pearl...

A short time later the woman emerged from the oyster alone, outraged, and wandered around the island, looking around as if it was the first time she had looked at the world, while men and women were stunned by the woman's presence.

That was the birth of Aphrodite.

A few years later, Thor was celebrating with his people the summer solstice, which symbolized the time when Thor arrived to 'save' the people. By this time, Hera had returned to Olympus after finding Aphrodite walking through the forest alone.

As soon as Aphrodite arrived at Olympus, she hypnotized most, if not all beings, with the already supernatural beauty she wielded... Which Aphrodite noticed immediately, and grew to enjoy the attention she began to get, although the newly consecrated goddess of Olympus did not venture further for a reason...

When she first saw the light, she saw the first man she ever saw, and when the man blatantly ignored her, Aphrodite met rejection and indifference for the first time, not the adoration and unconditional love that was shown by others who came after the man who opened the oyster for the first time.

Aphrodite wanted to meet the one who gave her a different and remarkable feeling, so she went in search of just one mission.

Invite the man to be the only one worthy of her beauty.

In short, Aphrodite had chosen her only husband. Although the 'husband' would probably not even remember their first date...

and he didn't even know that he was already considered a 'husband' by a woman he'd never met.

In truth, Thor was minding his own business, and he had finally found some clue about the Telkhines...

Although it was vague, the information was only from merchants and fishermen, who claimed to have seen beings with the characteristics of the Telkhines, with a fishtail and a dog's head, near the island of Lemnos, one of the northernmost islands of Greece.

Thor went immediately to the spot, in just a rowing boat, and with his unending strength and endurance, he ended up arriving on the island the same day.

The reason for such a rush was that Thor was getting more and more annoyed at remaining as human king, as a cult of Aeolia was acquiring more and more loyal/fanatical followers, so he wanted to get out of there as soon as possible before the situation came to a head. got worse and the people wanted to spread the cult to the rest of Greece...

However, when Thor arrived at the island of Lemnos, he found not the Telkhines, but a civilization composed only of women endowed with supernatural beauty who stared at him in curiosity and displayed an inviting smile.

Thor just took the boat and began rowing quickly towards Knossos, while stopping at the islands closest to Lemnos in search of any sign.

As soon as Thor arrived in Knossos, he asked those who told him he had seen the Telkhines be summoned.

When the merchants and fishermen who told Thor about Lemmos arrived, when questioned, they just gave Thor a perverted smile and said it was a magical island they will never forget.

At that moment, everyone would know the 'wrath of Aeolia', who was annoyed at being sent on a lost journey. In fact, Thor was so angry that as soon as the merchants and fishermen left the room, he ripped the palace throne off and threw it with all his might out the window...

Little did Thor know that the throne ended up hitting a yellow canary, who was suspiciously staring with hearts in her eyes at Hera, who was bathing in the waterfall while being accompanied by some priestesses.

Rhea had been curious when her youngest son ended up returning to Olympus with broken both arms and a leg...

Zeus never set foot on the island of the Aeolites again and chose to remain in Helladic territory, where the eyes of the King of Olympus began to wonder, as he stared at some women who had held his attention...

Shortly after this event, one day Hera ended up getting pregnant, confusing the Greek deities a lot. That same day, Thor noticed that the rune that was suppressing the Norse divine powers seemed to be volatile and therefore needed to be replaced because it was already approaching the 'expiration'.

A few months later, Hephaestus was born.

And to the surprise of Thor who knew the legends well, Hera didn't throw him away in disgust, in fact, Hera had tenderly embraced Hephaestus and introduced him to everyone, as if Hera was proud of Hephaestus' birth.

For some reason, when Thor's golden eyes met Hephaestus' amber eyes, he felt a connection he couldn't explain...

Surprisingly, Hephaestus liked Thor, and always wanted to spend time with him; Thor just shrugged his shoulders and went on to teach a little about the human form of metalworking, which could not be considered weak, given that Thor, after having completed the dwarven blacksmith training centuries ago, could be considered a god of the forge.

That alone made Thor or in this case Aeolia, an accomplished blacksmith, who enchanted a baby Hephaestus, while Hera just stared in wonder at the interaction between Thor and a baby...

A few years later, Hephaestus began to grow into an extremely handsome man, who enchanted many women and even men, although he only had eyes for his work in the forge he had created on the island of Crete.

Hera and Thetis were the only ones who visited Hephaestus, though Thor made a point of visiting at least once a week to see Hephaestus' abilities in the island's volcano forge.

The other day, Zeus appeared in Crete complaining of a severe headache, which Thor promptly helped willingly...

Opening a hole in the skull of Zeus who fell to the ground and was knocked out by the force of the blow. But what caught the attention, was that from the hole in Zeus' skull a light appeared, and from the light, a fully armored woman with a spear and shield, dressed in armor, appeared.

The woman had introduced herself as Athena.

Honestly so didn't even blink, much less question the ways the gods and goddesses were being born in the most ridiculous way he'd ever seen. And so, years passed with new supernatural beings being born left and right, mostly demigods...

Until in 1622 BCE...

*BOOM*

An explosion sound resounded throughout Greece...

The origin was a volcano that erupted on the island of Tera, one of the colonies of the Aeolites... But it was no ordinary eruption.

From the volcano, a hideous creature began to rise, magma oozing from its body like water.

The creature was gigantic, standing thirty meters tall with wings on its back, with the upper body being that of a human and the lower body composed of tentacles. The creature gave a roar of defiance as it made Greece tremble and volcanic ash covered the sky and spread beyond the horizon.

The roar also caused an earthquake, which resulted in a tsunami of proportions never before seen by the inhabitants of Greece, and that same tsunami, as it approached the island of Crete, a single person could be seen on the beach.

That person was Thor, who looked at the tsunami in sadness.

"... So it's about time... The Telkhines remain in hiding, but it seems my time is up," said Thor.

Thor then raised a hand and, for the first time, created a rune with divine power, although the action was unnoticed by any deity due to the monstrous power of the creature that roared atop the volcano on the island of Tera, plus there was no being. Greek supernatural on the island...

It was the perfect moment.

Thor then said calmly, albeit in the face of a colossal tsunami.

"...X (Gebo), Ahvenanmaa" said Thor, whispering to the rune.

And that's how all the Aeolites inhabitants of the island of Crete disappeared into thin air.

The only thing left of Thor was the javelin spear that had been left behind and was soon engulfed by the tsunami waters.

Simple as that... Thor basically abandoned Greece... Though he didn't know he'd be back faster than he thought. After all, Frigg wanted to see her old friend again, and Thor would never approve of his mother standing on the roof of Olympus alone.
