Chapter 979 Change Of Plans

979 Change Of Plans

Kana waved her hand once more and opened four tears in space as she explained: "The enemy is getting stronger by stealing the life force of soldiers. Have your men retreat and make a distraction. We will have to move in ourselves, or we will lose this war."

"Mama, you are right that they are sucking the life force out of their opponents, but it still takes some time. About ten minutes per person. While this is not much time it should allow our people to hold the line while you go find the source." Angelica could see the strings of life force being sucked out of the men below. But she also knew that such an army would have a powerful person ordering them, which meant that they were probably close to being as strong as her Mama.

"Then we will do that. For the safety of our people and for the future of our loved ones, I will enter the portal. I mean it's not like they can stop me from leaving." Kana said with a smile as she waved her hand once more, destroying thousands of miles of skeletons. "I will be going. Wish me luck."

Kana disappeared and reappeared outside the portals before her before diving down. In the Void of Oblivion, an old man stood there looking at a group of old men. "What do you mean you could not contain Kalos!?"

"You think we did not try? Kalos has grown in power over the years and is obsessed with the power of chaos. We can not stop him, nor do we care about some small universe with small bugs in it. Why waste time?" a council elder replied.

"I see… Do not say I did not want you. You unleashed so many things in my realms and hopes of me keeping them at bay, but I do need to tell you that you have done some good you have helped unlock my disciple's true powers. Because of that, in the future, the Void of Oblivion should watch out. If you anger her, she might just come and burn your toes off." The old man sneered as he turned to leave but was stopped when someone shouted.

"Impudent! Do you think you can walk away without an apology?" An elder council member yelled out. He was truly angry.

"Hmmm? Do you think you can stop me? Remember, besides my disciple, no one here is more powerful than me. So even if you all came here together, none of you could stop me. Isn't this why you wanted me to leave? Isn't this why you old men schemed against me at that time to get me kicked off the elders' council?" The old man snorted. "Let me make things clear right now. You better have someone out to help handle this situation, or else I will tear this realm upside down until you do."

"You!!!" The elder council member's face was red with anger. He hated the god of creation the most! He was too arrogant!

"Just let it go. He will not do anything. We just need to show that we are attempting to do anything. But his words about his disciple worry me. Maybe we should get rid of this so called disciple as well while we are there."

"I agree. If his disciple is more powerful than the god of creation, then we should deal with it before they come here and destroy the balance of the Void of Oblivion."

"I think you are all fools! I will not be a part of this." One of the council elders yelled out before standing up from his seat and disappearing. While he did not condone their actions, he would not stop them either.

"I will have Soli go and take care of it. She is my own disciple." The council member sitting in the middle of the rest said as he stood up. "She is just as strong as I am, and only I am around the god of creation levels. I think his disciple is over praised. I am sure she is not that strong since it has not even been five hundred years yet since he found her."

"Then, council leader, we will allow you to take care of it."

While all this was going on, Kana was frowning as she hovered over a portal in front of her. "Such a powerful barrier. Is there really no way to enter from this direction, or is it only a one way portal?"

Kana had tried to enter many times, but she would only touch the ground underneath. Meaning that it was not accessible from the outside. While she was killing the skeletons that were coming out while she was trying to go in, it was just not working as she had hoped. "Angelica, Mama can't enter the portal. It seems that they are not accessible from the outside."

"I…. Sorry, Mama, I should have checked myself first before suggesting it. Shall we just destroy them all, then?" Angelica asked.

"Mmmm… No destroying them since we do not want them to start pushing stronger forces through. Just seal them off in barriers, and we will watch them pile up and back up into the realm they are coming from. I think it will be more interesting. " Kana answered. She did not plan to allow them to know that their portals could be destroyed so easily. She wanted the enemy to think they were still weak and were just using a different method to block the portals.

"Okay, I will do it!" Angelica answered. Kana then notified everyone else. For now, the first wave of the invasion was over. She wanted to see what the enemy would do when all their portals on this continent were blocked. She knew this would take a while to do, but it was the best way to slap someone in the face.

"King Dong, I will be off to seal portals. Keep men stationed around the barriers here in rotation. I want a report every hour on how things are going." But do not send the enemy back yet. We will defend until we know for sure all skeletons are dead.
