Chapter 915: Left It There

Every Master knows their disciple will one day go out on their own. Rain's new master also knew that one day Rain would go out and explore the world on her own and maybe even become an ascended. But now she knew that her disciple was so much more. Forget about the genius in the world. There was no one but her own mother, that was probably stronger than her. But with her disciple's mother's consent, she would not work hard to teach her disciple everything she knew without holding back.

While Kana spent more Rain and Mama time together, Bi Ling reached the top floor of the palace to see a tall, robust man standing there with a sword. "You finally arrived."

"Ummm…. You look very faint. Are you okay?" Bi Ling asked as she looked at the robust man.

"I would have been fine if you did not destroy half my palace while climbing up the stairs!" The robust man, who was none other than the sword god, yelled. If it was not for the fact that the little girl was perfect for his inheritance, he would have ejected her out of the palace already.

"How was I supposed to know there were no secret rooms holding treasure!?" Bi Ling pursed her lips. She had heard stories from her Mama about her past lives and that the most recent one before her current life had read a novel about dungeons having hidden rooms where you had to knock down walls and stuff to find them, so she was testing to see if it would work for the palace.

"Why would there be hidden treasures in an inheritance!? You just need to complete the trials and make it to the end for the reward!" The sword god yelled out. He was feeling very exhausted.

"Tch! So stingy!" Bi Ling was expecting at least to find a spirit stone or something, but all she got was empty rooms that had doors to them or the outside! She found nothing!

"Alright, whatever…. You just need to accept the inheritance. You will get all my knowledge on the path of the sword as well as my most cherished rank 9 mystic sword." The sword god said before extending his hand, and before Bi Ling knew what was going on, her head was filled with all kinds of images and knowledge of the sword. Soon after, a sword appeared in the air in front of her. "I now bid you farewell…."

The sword god's soul fragment turned into balls of light and floated up into the sky. Bi Ling scratched her head and looked at the long black weapon in front of her, and grabbed it. "Hmmm... His techniques are subpar compared to Big Sister Yana's, but the sword is not bad. I guess the sword was worth all the hassle."

If the sword god knew that his techniques were only subpar in Bi Ling's eyes, he would probably spit up blood and die all over again. Luckily he disappeared ahead of time. "Mei, what do you think?"

"Mm… the sword is not bad, but there seems to be something in it." Mei Ling replied. "I think this is the legendary sword spirit. If I am not wrong, you only need to drop some blood on it to bind the weapon to you and wake the spirit inside."

"Sword spirit inside, hmmm?" Bi Ling did as Mei Ling said and dripped a drop of blood onto the sword. As she did, a white whisp appeared in front of her that slowly transformed into an old man. "My name Zangets…."

"No need to tell me your name. Can you just like disappear? Mei is not too keen on having some old pervert in a strange suit following us around." Bi Ling interrupted the shady old man in sunglasses, not caring for his stupid looking face.

"I do not think you understand I am…."

"Yes, yes, you are some hero or what not well….. Either leave the sword, or I just leave the sword here. It's not like I need another sword. Mei, what do you think?" Bi ling asked.

"We should just leave it here. Creepy old men hiding in swords is not something Mama would be happy about if we brought it home." Mei Ling replied.

"Then there you have it. Can you leave the sword or not?" Bi Ling asked.

"Ahem…. No, but if you use me, you can learn how to use Bank….."

"Since you can't leave, have fun." Bi Ling stabbed the sword into the wall before turning around and disappearing from where she stood, leaving the sword spirit floating there with a very confused expression on his face. "Was it something I said?"

Bi Ling reappeared on the bridge outside and walked across it. She had forgotten that the statue attacked people, so as soon as she reached the end, the two statues swung at her. She snorted and swung her sword, destroying both statues at the same time, before walking out into the waiting area.

"Hey, little girl! Did you get the inheritance!?" A young man asked.

"No? There was a sword, but I left it there. It had some old man in it. And I don't want an old man following me around so you all can fight over it." Bi Ling answered.

"A mythic weapon!? It's mine!" The young man dashed forward, but he was soon followed by everyone else except a certain old man who walked up to Bi Ling and bowed to her. "Please tell your mother I said thank you. The pill she gave me allowed me to break through to the immortal king realm."

"Mmm… Congratulations. I will tell her. Bye!" Bi Ling smiled and waved goodbye before jumping off the mountain peak.

On that day, a bloody battle took place at the entrance of the sword god's palace. But when they realized they still had to go through all the trials, those who won the battle wanted to cry when they couldn't even make it up the stairs. No one even thought to make a hole in the ceiling like a certain little girl.
