Chapter 111: Vampire Hunt[V]

"Careful, calm down!"

**BANG!**

"Damn! My foot!"

"The top of your head... watch the top of your head."

**CLINK! CLANK!**

"Linglin, drag this son of a bitch."

Kratos was at the forefront, defending the formation. He took the role of the tank, thrashing and cutting down the enemies that jumped upon him.

"Fuck this shit! Aren't we hunting a Vampire? How did it become the Ghoul apocalypse?"

They didn't know why the dead suddenly became undead.

Do vampires have the skills to create undead and ghouls?

They didn't know about that, but the only possibility they could think of was that Vampires used Blood Mystic abilities to manipulate their blood and use them as puppets.

Something that they never expected in their wildest dream.

Gritting his teeth, Kratos swung his blade at the soldiers who turned into Ghouls that appeared before him suddenly, but the blade cut through the air and did nothing.

At the same time, sharp claws appeared on the other side and swiped at him, scratching Kratos's throat. But before they could dig deeper, whips slashed and wrapped around the ghoul's arm, and he was yanked.

Blood splattered from Kratos's throat, but he could only roar furiously to no avail with a heart full of discontent.

Leaving a few, most of the soldiers guarding here had turned into sub-servant Ghouls, prepared to lay their lives on the line for their Master.

Though they weren't at the same level, each of them was quite agile and nimble. They didn't have much strength, but they braced through their body, taking blows to deliver blows, so if they managed to close in, it was trouble.

To make the situation worse, each one of them coordinated well.

While one person would feint an attack, another would create a disturbance, and as they got injured, a second person would immediately switch positions.

"Not a single one of them is staying or backing away," Linglin screamed as she whipped her whip in an arc, slamming anyone who came near her.

"Are they even alive?" Linglin asked as she snapped the heads of ghouls with her strike.

"They aren't making only noise. They are more like a puppet."Helsa, with her swift strikes, stabbed them, but they extended their hands to catch her. Taking a step back, she rotated her blades and hacked their heads.

"They are pretty much undead," Miyuki spoke while skillfully pulling out a machete underneath her dress, and with the help of a headless ghoul she slayed, she leaped into the air flying towards Kraft.

"I will create a path. It is not over until we take out that vampire."

Miyuki stepped onto Kraft's shoulder and used him as a foothold to launch herself into the air effortlessly.

Goro gnashed his teeth to suppress the fury in his heart as he found it hard to have an edge over his former subordinate, unlike the flexible Miyuki.

"It's because you have turned into a fucking Vampi... No, you chose to become one son of a bitch." Goro, roaring furiously, immediately turned around to break from the other party's grip and thrust his sword towards Kraft's heart.

However, just as the tip of the sword was about to penetrate inside, his sword tip was intertwined by two fingers.

A sharp crisp resonated, and Kraft raised his head with a sneer.

"So what if I did?"

A bloody aura started radiating from his body.

"You all always suppressed me. I am a Martial Lord even then why do I have to follow everyone like a handyman instead of having my team?"

"That's because...." Goro's words were cut off by Kraft's furious voice.

"That's because I came from a cheap dirt family while all of you come from big families having your own back."

"So, I wanted power."

"Power to get stronger as fast as possible which I have now."

**CLANG!**

Goro's expression became pale as the silver sword snapped into pieces.

"And my dear Goro, let me give you a piece of information which I learned after becoming a Vampire." Kraft gave an amused smile, giving Goro a chill.

"Silver only works when it comes in contact with our blood so unless this sword can cut me it's useless."

"By the way, you don't care about Miyuki, do you?"

"What do you mean?" Goro asked loudly.

"Nothing, it's just she is going to die."

"Stop messing with me," Goro shouted, pulling back the half-

sword. It still had enough blade and edge to fight but just as he was about to strike.

A piercing scream of agony shook the entire place.

Goro's whole body shuddered on hearing the familiar voice and subconsciously he looked back.

His pupil constricted and his heart skipped a beat, on noticing Miyuki in the hands of the bloody Vampire whose gnarly claws had pierced her stomach.

"MIYUKIIIII!"
