Chapter 364 - Lucky to have met you

Mist Kingdom, Town XX - Central Square

For the past few minutes, Kazuya had been trying to convince Lyn to stop hiding. Thankfully, not many people were in the streets; otherwise he wouldn't know how to explain things. Quite a number of people saw her in that gathering too, so he made sure Lyn wore a disguise.

"N—no !! Wha—what did you do there?" she stuttered.

"I licked you."

He only licked the cream from her face. Kazuya didn't think she would have such a strong reaction. These days, she acts so calmly around him. Kazuya almost forgot that Lyn is naive when it comes to such things.

"B—but—but why in that place?" Lyn questioned.

Even if she asks why that's how one usually does it, then again, he supposes amongst Lyn's friends; there's no one who can advise her that it's normal ---- oh no wait, there is one. Though asking his aide to advice Lyn is somewhat awkward. He will have to, otherwise, this won't get very far.

Two days ago, when she woke up, she was all gung-ho about letting him touch her and stuff, and a while back, she agreed to just learn things from him. However, it appears for this girl, stuff like this is still too overwhelming.

'Is she really satisfying you?' Recalling Lethia's words, he shook his head. That's not it. It's not as though she doesn't satisfy him. Lyn does do his best for him, and ever since he said those words about her learning, she has been trying for his sake. Rather since they started dating, Kazuya's noticed the considerable amount of effort she has placed on him. It's not like he isn't satisfied.

But he can't deny wanting more. Being able to hold the girl he likes and yet not be able to do anything to her is quite frustrating at times. The two of them are new to being intimate with each other. Still, after what happened... Kazuya felt a bit worked up. He didn't think Lyn could become so beautiful in their short time apart from each other.

"I'm sorry Kazuya, are you mad?"

"No, I get it. Besides, I said I'd be patient."

Lyn laughed, "I know, thank you for treasuring me, Kazuya."

"You snuck away successfully?" Kazuya was still looking around to make sure nobody had followed the girl out. It would be unfortunate if they did. Right now, Lyn is staying with those guys with the identity of that man's wife. If they saw Lyn with him, she would get in trouble wouldn't she?

"Un, truthfully speaking, I could leave anytime I want. I know all their blind spots, after all. But, I choose not to."

That's right, Lyn herself stayed with that man. So... Kazuya scooped Lyn up in his arms, and the girl wrapped her arms around his neck. "I'm not hiding now."

"Yeah."

"Kazuya, where are we going?"

"You'll see."

....

The place Kazuya intended to bring her had a strange formal dress code. That's why currently they were changing their clothes. The problem is since they came in as a couple. The ones in charge told them to share a changing space. It was easy for him to change with his current clothing. The problem was Lyn, the dress they gave her made it difficult to get changed.

"T—turn around Kazuya, and don't look!"

"Yes, yes.."

She always gets so embarrassed whenever she shows her skin. Well, it's not like he doesn't understand why. Then again, it is easy to lose control of your powers in these situations. Even then Kazuya was a gentleman, he would not take advantage of this moment.

Quite some time has passed since he's seen her like this since he's been holding back this entire time. He briefly looks at her to find Lila slipping on the dress. The oversized dress on her small body made her seem even s.e.xier than usual. "… . …"

Oh, wow, she's cute. Her beautiful shoulder blades and that porcelain white skin. Most people would think she had a disease with her skin that white. However, for her, it made her look dazzling. Lyn's features weren't particularly dazzling, her nose, lips and facial features were normal. But, what stood out were her beautiful eyes. Her long arms and shoulders.

Kazuya frantically shook his head, quit thinking such abnormal thoughts. Maybe he is being influenced by Rhys too much... Or perhaps it's because of the short time apart from each other. It felt like he was going crazy when he didn't meet with her every day.

To think seeing Lyn every day became normal for him. It was only a week or so, and yet it felt like he had gone crazy. What will happen when they are apart from each other for a longer period of time? When he returns to the Sound Kingdom?

"S--say Kazuya?"

"Hm?"

"It's embarrassing. So …for a bit, really don't turn around."

"Got it."

Lyn will probably get mad if she found out he already saw. Kazuya waited for a few minutes, and Lyn eventually finished. However, because of the shoes, they didn't leave right away. Lyn sat down and tried to rest her feet for a bit.

He leaned his back against her.

"Wah? Um--?" Lyn said, startled.

"Argh, I'm so mad. I wanted to keep touching you. I even had so many things I planned to do."

"Waah dummy, dummy. I thought you quit being a pervert already !"

He did quit that business. But since when did he give up his desires towards her? "Kazuya, really don't do embarrassing things. I'm still not used to it. But I do want to learn from you. I want to hurry up and become a woman who's more your type, so these ugly feelings of jealousy will disappear."

. .?!

"The truth is, I knew about it. You spent most time fooling around with other women. I wasn't stupid. Whenever you called me, your voice always seemed strange, or you were exhausted. I knew but chose not to say anything. Because I was afraid that you'd tell me I wasn't wanted anymore. For me, that's probably the most frightening thing after all.

Not being wanted, not having a place to belong, or return to. To not be anything in anyone's world. Even if it's just one person, I want to be that special someone - to have such a valuable and treasured existence. From the moment we met Kazuya. I had a feeling that you'd be the one to give me that…" Lyn trails off and laughs, "If I put it that way, it sounds like I used you. Even though I didn't intend it to be like that, I'll apologize."

'The truth. 'It's not just her. It's him too. He knew already. He knew that she knew. He knew about her feelings too. But even then, he never said a word. He couldn't say it. 'It felt like I didn't deserve her. 'Teachers words, his feelings. The reason why he can relate to him so well was because of that reason. Kazuya's always felt like he doesn't deserve Lyn at all.

"That thing you mentioned about other women."

"Ah, I know. You weren't fooling around, that was just a figure of speech."

Kazuya scratched his hair, "Well, since it's come out that I was in some ambiguous relationsh.i.p.s. I won't hide it from you. Those days, I did anything so I could survive. I met with the people the elders told me. I did what I could just so I could keep my freedom. Part of me was afraid of being locked up again. I was used to the fresh air, the blue skies, and the sound of the ocean. I didn't want anyone to take that from me."

Lyn nodded in understanding. She stood up and then positioned herself on his lap. She reached out and played with his hair for a few minutes. He chuckled, "What are you thinking?"

"Kazuya, you must have been very lonely. Don't worry. I'm here by your side now."

Kazuya stared at the girl; he was speechless. What on earth is with her? How can she say such things so easily? But then again, this is her. He shouldn't be surprised. Lyn has always been straightforward and honest.

"I'm lucky to have met you. I feel like our meeting was a blessing from the GODS."

Lyn smiled softly, "I think the same, no matter what happens from now on. I shall stand by your side."

No matter what happens.. Kazuya's gaze dimmed slightly at the girl's words. Lyn probably doesn't understand the meaning behind the words she said now. In the nearby future, can she still say those things? Nearby future is an understatement. Rhys is already making his plans.

At first, his friend's actions appalled Kazuya. But then he learned from the others how the Sound Kingdom elders have been pressuring him. Kazuya understood. Rhys, he will do anything to protect Lyn. If Lyn knew what Rhys was doing for her sake, would his actions would move her? It was hard to tell. Kazuya didn't want to hide it from her, though. It's better if she hears it from him then somebody else. This way, she won't be moved.

As Lyn listened, though, the girl didn't seem surprised. When he finished, Lyn mumbled. "I already knew I asked brother about it and he told me."

"..I see, so…"

Lyn sighed, "I'm furious at him. How could he come to that conclusion without informing me? Do I get no say in any of this?"
