That person immediately had two nosebleeds, but he didn't fight back. The lord was the lord, and the servant was the servant; it was very clear.

"If I don't see Ni`er, don't expect me to listen to him."

Lan Yufeng said coldly.

He hated Gracie even more.

ND, live in his room and drive his car for free for seven years. He couldn't even do that much, and he even betrayed him and went back to skin him.

"Young master, the old master is already old. Please think for him. You are his only son. He needs you."

the man pleaded pleadingly.

Lan Yufeng didn't say anything. His entire mind was filled with Niall. Why hadn't she contacted him when she woke up? If she didn't love him, why had she been saved?

After returning to this city full of pain and sorrow, all of Lan Yufeng's memories had come back to life. Had Ni`er really woken up?

He was looking forward to it, but he also felt heartbroken. What Lance said that day was still fresh in his ears, could he afford to give a promise to Ni`er?

The car drove directly into Count Field's castle and came to a halt in the courtyard.

It had been seven years, but the place had still not changed. The corners of the castle were exuding an ancient and tempting aura, and it was said that the castle was over five hundred years old.

As soon as he entered the courtyard, he saw two rows of servants standing there, male and female.

Standing in the middle was Nathan Field.

Lan Yufeng couldn't say what sort of feeling it was, but the only thing she could be sure of was that this place didn't give off the feeling of a home, nor did that man give off the feeling of a father.

He had grown up and no longer needed a father. Next month would be his twenty-sixth birthday. If it wasn't for Ni`er, he might have become a father today.

"Amslo, my child, welcome back."

When Lan Yufeng got out of the car, Nathan Field opened his arms to him.

However, Lan Yufeng was very unhappy with this English name. Without his consent, she had given him this name on his own accord; he was very disgusted.

"You kidnapped me and brought me back. I want to go home now."

Lan Yufeng didn't look at him, nor did she walk further in. Instead, she turned around and walked towards the door.

"Child, I need you. The Field family needs you."

Nathan Field called after him, 'affectionately.

"I've said that my surname is Lan. It has nothing to do with you, nor is it interested in politics."

Lan Yufeng evilly smiled and resolutely walked out.

The man from before tried to stop him, but Nathan Field stopped him.

As a father, he owed his son a debt, but he believed that his son would return with the blood of the Field Family.

After leaving Field's house, although Lan Yufeng couldn't wait to go to the vampire castle, he knew she couldn't be impulsive.

When he chose to return home and saw the door open, he felt a surge of anger.

Although he had promised to let Gracie stay in the house, he had not said that he could bring someone else.

The hateful fellow actually thinks of himself as his master.

He kicked open the door, and when he saw the garbage dump, he became even more furious.

"Gracie, get the hell out of here."

Lan Yufeng swept her eyes in a circle, and when she saw that there were no signs of Gracie among the men and women in the room, she immediately shouted.

Could it be that the fellow sold his house due to his lack of money?

However, he had the property certificate. That dead guy, where did he go after he died?

"Haha, brother, welcome back."

Gracie should have heard Lan Yufeng's voice and popped her head out from downstairs. With a leap, he actually jumped down from the second floor and opened her arms wide for Lan Yufeng.

"Scram! What are these things? Why are they at my house?"

Lan Yufeng looked at the strangely dressed men and women; she really wanted to throw them away.

"Hehe, these are my friends, my partners. Let me introduce you, this red-haired beauty is Ferlin, and this beautiful woman with blue eyes like yours is called Curti. And these two brothers, one is Xeno and the other is Durand, we are both vampire hunters."

Listening to Gracie's introduction, Lan Yufeng had the urge to kill someone. He actually sent so many damn 'killers' into her house.

"Did you tell Count Field about me and Nell?"

Lan Yufeng grabbed Gracie's collar and angrily asked.

"Bro, he said that he's your father, and he's very generous. You know, we hunters don't have a salary, and we need a lot of equipment to deal with vampires …"

"Shut up. Let me ask you, is Ni`er really awake?"

If Lan Yufeng didn't want to continue listening, then it was all his fault for not being able to recognize a person and having to equip them with equipment. This was truly hateful to the extreme.

"About this, she might have awoken or she might not. But don't worry, I didn't tell the Count that your woman is a vampire. I only said that she's sick and that she's a vegetable …"

"Bang."

Lan Yufeng's fist ruthlessly smashed into Gracie's face, sending him flying.

He was using Ni`er as a pretense, that was unforgivable.

"Feng, think about it carefully. That woman is a vampire. You can't possibly be together. Furthermore …"

"I give you ten seconds to disappear from my sight."

Lan Yufeng didn't want to hear anything. He only knew that he had been used and deceived.

Gracie was stunned for a few seconds. Lan Yufeng didn't throw them out, she only threw out their strange things.

Only then did those people pack their stuff and run out in panic.

"Bro, I know that you are very sad, but I did not hurt that woman. You should not vent your anger on me."

"Before I come back, you'd better pack up my house. If you want to live here, you have to follow my rules. Before I come back, I'll bring back the rules."

When Lan Yufeng saw Gracie's expression, she knew that she had gone too far. However, she couldn't put down her pride.

He looked at the man and woman outside the door and left without saying a word.

The sun had already set to the west, and he didn't know where to go.

Walking on the crowded streets, he felt as if he didn't belong in this world.

The sun slowly hid behind the mountains, and Lan Yufeng found herself at the ancient vampire castle that she hadn't seen in a long time.

The castle seemed to be shrouded in fog, and one could not see the castle clearly. There were even bats flying around, giving off a trembling feeling.

Looking at the pitch black ancient castle, Lan Yufeng's heart was crying.

Was his little girl still in there, seven years ago?

He knew he couldn't get in there like that, not to mention that Van Zol Lance, or any of the vampires in there, could make him see God.

Even so, Lan Yufeng still decided to go in. He wanted to see Ni`er.

After seven years, even if she had a gunshot wound, Nell should have recovered. Grazzi had said that ordinary bullets couldn't hurt a vampire, so Nell should still be alive.

He had already mentally prepared himself. In these seven years, he had made all sorts of efforts. It was as if Ni`er was carved into his heart and would never be forgotten.

Since the heavens had given him the chance today, he would definitely not give up.

Step by step, he firmly advanced towards the black door. Imperceptibly, a force seemed to push him backwards, making every step especially difficult.

He wasn't sure if anyone was still watching him on the second floor, but he knew he had to see Nell.

He finally arrived at the black gate, but his clothes were already soaked through with sweat and his legs were somewhat weak.

No one spoke, and no one appeared. The black door of the ancient castle opened its mouth wide, wanting to swallow him up.

Surprised, the black door unexpectedly opened up in front of him.

He did not hesitate and walked in.

When he stepped into the castle, the wall light suddenly lit up, but there was still no one there.

Lan Yufeng knew that someone must be watching him. Perhaps it was Lance, or perhaps it was another relative of Ni`er's family.

He had to go to the basement first. He knew that if Ni`er was asleep, she would be in the coffin in the basement.

As if waiting for him, the secret door to the basement opened, and as he walked, the wall light came on.

He was very happy. Did this mean that they accepted him now?

Standing outside the room that belonged to Ni`er, he knew that Ni`er was probably inside. He also knew that Ni`er might still be sleeping, but that didn't change his determination to see Ni`er.

He put his hand on the door and pressed it, as Nell had done before, and the door opened and the wall light went on.

The light was as dim as it had been seven years ago, and his feet felt heavy, as if he didn't even have the strength to walk.

He was even more certain that Nell was lying inside.

"Ni`er has slept for seven years because of you. I need you to make up for letting you in today."

The familiar cold voice came from behind.

Lan Yufeng knew that Lance had appeared.

"How do I make it up?"

Lan Yufeng walked step by step towards the place where Ni`er was sleeping, her hand caressing the ice-cold coffin.

"Why did Ni`er choose you?"

"She likes my blood. She said it's delicious, the best she's ever tasted."

Lan Yufeng closed her eyes and thought back to their first time together. She had never admitted to liking or loving him, but he was her food.

"Do you want her to wake up?"

Lance's voice was as cold as usual. If he didn't speak, he wouldn't have felt his presence at all.

"I want him to wake up."

Lan Yufeng said firmly.

"The power of our Strigoi comes from blood. The reason Ni`er is sleeping is because our bodies can't produce blood like humans, and whenever we are injured, the blood in our bodies will automatically heal, but because of this there will be loss of blood. Although our genes have been improved a hundred years ago, it might take a very long time, a few years, several decades, or even up to a hundred years to recover by relying on our own abilities."

"Ni`er has been sleeping for seven years."

Lan Yufeng's heart was filled with grief. Decades, or even hundreds of years, he didn't have that much time.

Ni`er's body is weak to begin with, so we use her as a test for genetic modification of the Strigoi. Although we can become like a normal person and lose that desire for blood, Ni`er is different, she needs blood every month. Usually, we buy blood from the blood bank.

Lance's words seemed to imply something.

"I know, I can wake Ni`er up, right?"

Lan Yufeng was ecstatic. If it was only that simple, why did Lance not tell him seven years ago? Why did she have to endure these seven years of torture?

"It should be possible. In return for saving Ni`er, I can fulfill one of your wishes. If you really want to become a Strigoi, and if you don't mind making experiments, I can help you try."

The corner of Lance's mouth curled up. It sounded like he was helping Lan Yufeng achieve her wish, but in reality, he wanted to treat him like a little mouse.

"As long as I can be together with Ni`er, I don't care even if it's an experiment."

Lan Yufeng didn't hesitate at all. She picked up the dagger in front of her and slashed at her arm.

The lid of the coffin opened, and Nell's pale cheek made his heart ache.

He stood up and dripped his blood onto Ni`er's lips.

Ni'er's face was still pale, but Lan Yufeng was already feeling a bit dizzy.

In a trance, he thought he saw Nell's eyelashes twitch.

"Ni`er!"
