Chapter 22 - He who coveted a married woman

Based on rumors, The Chen City Lord's Young Master was a flamboyant man. Aside from that, he is also a narcissist and dandy.

No one knew that deep inside him, he was super in love with one person. A person who he shouldn't love and coveting. A married woman.

In her memories, no one knew of it until the day that he kidnapped the woman. Well, that was what the rumors says. Until Ronglou saw them together in a remote village, happily in love together. She figured out that the two must have runaway together.

That was one of the times where she felt lonely inside. Having a husband who doesn't really cared for you, was something Ronglou didn't want to experience again.

Anyways, that's how Ronglou was able attract his attention. She didn't exactly knew what is the status of the two right now, she could only try her luck.

She asked for Hongfe to send a letter via a bird messenger to the Young Master of Chen City.

In the letter, it said:

"Roses are meant to be adored from afar. Loving someone who is already married, can be a tireless task. I beseeched you to help me on my goals and I will help you get her in return."

Ronglou didn't really saw his reaction after reading it, she could only guess how quickly he responded. The bird messenger flew back to her with a letter attached to his leg, it says,

"Tell me what you need of me".

Brief and straight to the point. Ronglou smiled at that time. She replied to have a carriage ready, along with his token of identity. The carriage shall be sent to Hua Pavilion and she will instruct the coachman from then on. She also promised to visit him in person, as soon as she was done.

The travel by carriage would take at least half a day. It was a different route from where her brothers were coming from. Soon enough, by lunch time they have arrived at the Young Master's Residence.

Huangyu went down first and assisted her miss. Huangyu was still disguised as a man, while Ronglou was wearing her red dress, a hat and a veil.

The coachman got down as well and gave the reigns to a servant that welcome them.

"This way Miss." The old coachman gestured her inside. Ronglou and Huangyu followed in.

Before leaving the Imperial City, Her eldest brother Zheqi had informed her that the coachman wasn't an ordinary person. She was warned to be wary. By then, she had thought that the old was in disguised. He must've been one of the Young Master's men.

Ronglou really didn't care for her identity to be leak to the Young Master, as long as he kept it to himself.

After all, she wasn't here to stay long. She only needed to wait for Hongfe and then leave this place. She figured that by the end of the day, Hongfe should already arrived.

The coachman lead them towards the back garden, in there a man in light blue robes was facing their back to them.

"Young Master, I have brought in the guests." The coachman said.

"Thank you Zhu, you may leave." The Young Master replied without turning his back.

"Huangyu, you may leave as well. I'll meet you once I'm done." Ronglou then walked towards the young man.

"Yes miss." Huangyu replied, as she followed the coachman out.

"Chen Jiazu, its nice to meet you." Ronglou gracefully said.

"I and you, Eldest Miss Yu." Jiazu turned around to look at her.

It could be said that Jiazu was like her boisterous third brother, but that was only his upfront. Though he wasn't that eye catching like his brothers, none the less he was handsome.

In fact, Jiazu was a bit smart like his brother Zhefei. Just that, he doesn't show it. His father's main wife detested him. Just because he was the Eldest son did his father ever acknowledge him. Since his mother was only a concubine. She died years early, when he was only a teenager. Ever since then, he had hidden his latent talent so that his father's current wife would not find him troublesome. He followed her every wishes and whims, so that he could keep his life.
