Chapter 8 - The Eldest Miss crawled out of a doghole!

"I want you to follow me, I will act as your companion. You shall not speak, not a word. You understand me?" Ronglou looked at Huangyu in the eyes.

Lu Huangyu gulped and nodded. She was too scared to speak. Her Miss's eyes look different. Like she wasn't the same innocent girl that she had served all her life.

Ronglou patted Huangyu's shoulder. "Don't worry, nothing bad will happen." Well, if everything goes right that is. She added inside her head. She still wasn't sure of her plan, but it was the only plan that she could think of.

She then handed a matching hat, as she too wore a black one. All though she didn't wore black or red before, it didn't mean that she didn't like them. Just that, she didn't want people to think that she was a wild girl. Especially that she was destined to be the next Empress. So when she bought them, she only wore it inside her room and hid it from anybody's eyes. Never letting anyone see them at all.

Ronglou pulled her servant towards the back window and left from there. She knew that her father and the emperor had been very protective of her, since she was a child with a prophecy. So she made Lu Huangyu stay as close as possible to her, as they both find their way out. Ronglou had avoided where Hidden Guards stays frequently and the Patrolling Guards usual routes.

Ronglou knew exactly where to exit. Of course it wasn't the main gate, it was the courtyard of her third brother Zhefan. She smirked at the thought. She had discovered the manmade doghole in the back of his third brother's courtyard. It was a way for him to enter and exit during late at night. Only he knew of this place, well that's what he thought.

As Ronglou and Li Huangyu entered the Yu Zhefan's courtyard, by climbing over the wall. They instantly hid behind the bushes. Ronglou could hear her third brother's servants moving about.

"Stay here, when you see them going away. Go to that corner there and wait for me. Be quiet as possible, when you move." Ronglou whispered and pointed which corner she want Huangyu to go.

Huangyu nodded, not a word coming from her mouth. Since she had been ordered to not speak the whole time. Although she was too nervous, she perfectly followed her Miss' orders.

Ronglou smiled and patted Huangyu. This servant of hers was too lovable. She then left to cause ruckus to this place. She needed to distract the people away, so they could sneak out. Since some of them, was standing too close to the corner. They too, must've known about the doghole there. Guarding it for safety.

----

It didn't took a while, When Huangyu saw the servants left their places in a hurry. They could hear some loud blasting noise, right outside their courtyard. It made them panic and went to investigate what was going on. By now, the Yu Residence must've woken from that noise!

Huangyu instantly went to the corner that her Miss pointed out. Not long after, the Miss also showed up. Ronglou could barely keep her laughter. As expected, her third brother was away to drink outside. So she took the opportunity to sneak inside his Third Brother's storage and take out some of his stashes of fireworks.

Since his third brother loves parties, he of course had his own fireworks. Ronglou always had an inner child in her, just that it wasn't appropriate in front of other people's eyes. So she had hidden that personality of hers, deep within her. Xu Fengxin's concubines used to tell her that she was a white lotus. One that could perfectly hide her personality very well and for that, she was the perfect Empress.

Thinking about it now, she really must've been one. Luckily, she wasn't rude or mean. Only to those who have schemed against her first.

"Let's go." Ronglou pulled Huangyu to the doghole. It was well hidden by the bushes.

Li Huangyu's jaws were wide open, she could never picture the Eldest Miss to crawl out of a doghole! She would not have believe it, if she didn't see it for herself!

"What are you daydreaming there for? Hurry up!" Ronglong whispered a bit loudly. She stood up as soon as she got out. She patted her dress, she acted like nothing had happened.
