Chapter 192 Demon Blade Sect

"So, have you learned something?", Zhan Chen looked towards elder Cheng.

"Young master is amazing. This old man has nothing to offer except a bow", elder Cheng replied with a sincere tone in his voice. His adress of Zhan Chen had also changed. It had gone from young friend to young master after seeing the miraculous methods of pill concoction.

Zhan Chen smiled after seeing the changing attitude of elder Cheng. It was the exact attitude he wanted to see from him.

He could have easily taken elder Cheng as a slave but doing so would have only earned fear and caution towards him.

The result was as he expected. The request of elder Cheng came just after he finished his conversation with him.

"Young master, can you guide me?", elder Cheng looked towards Zhan Chen with eager looking eyes.

"No problem. But before that we most make things clear between us", Zhan Chen spoke.

"Young master can state any condition. As long as it is within the capacity of mine, I will do my best to achieve it", elder Cheng replied.

"Well then. What I want from you is very simple. I want you to be a subordinate of mine", Zhan Chen looked straight at elder Cheng.

"A subordinate!", elder Cheng was taken aback after hearing the words of Zhan Chen. A word like subordinate was blasphemous to his status as a senior grand master of Alchemy association.

Zhan Chen was expecting such a reaction from elder Cheng. So, he said something else to pursue elder Cheng.

"You will not be be disappointed", Zhan Chen spoke in a light voice. Elder Cheng greeted Zhan Chen before leaving the room. There was a determined look on his face as he stepped out of the Clear spring inn.

"He indeed have to spend all his fortune to buy the herbs for the World enlightenment pill", Zhan Chen murmured to himself after elder Cheng left his room.

He spread his soul consciousness towards Li Yan, Li Shu, Kai Min and found them cultivating. "Hard work is necessary for a true cultivator ", Zhan Chen thought to himself.

He didn't put away the pill furnace immediately as there were some pills he wanted to concoct. He took out the required herbs from his spatial ring and started concocting.

Six crimson coloured pills were lying inside the pill furnace by the time Zhan Chen had finished the concoction of pills. He took them out and stored them inside a jade bottle.

"All done. Time for some cultivation", Zhan Chen thought to himself. He put away the pill furnace inside his spatial ring and closed his eyes to cultivate.

"Someone is eyeing her. But who is it?", Zhan raised his eyebrows. He got up from his place and walked outside.

His figure faded into the darkness of the night as he left the premises of Yellow stone city. He used the wind chasing steps and appeared near the place where the cloud panthrees and the other three fourth tier beasts were resting.

The cloud panthrees resisted her urge to come close to him after hearing his command. Zhan Chen stayed hidden in the dark as he waited for the enemy to reveal themselves.

Zhan Chen could tell that there were two cultivators who were hiding nearby. There target was obviously the shadow panthress who was lying on the top of a tree.

"Brother Hu, it has been two hours. How much longer are you willing to wait for their masters?", one of the cultivation asked his partner with the soul consciousness.

"Brother Ma, don't be impatient. We have time untill morning to complete our mission", his companion replied.

"An early sixth stage and a mid sixth stage!", Zhan Chen frowned after gauzing the strangth of his opponents.

"It will be slightly troublesome", he thought to himself.

Night passed by slowly and finally, it was just an hour before the early morning. The two sixth stage experts couldn't controll themselves anymore as they decided to attack the shadow panthress to lure out its masters.

The mid stage expert was first to act but when he was just going to strike out towards shadow panthress and the other three beasts, an attack came from his behind.

"Why!", he asked with a feeble voice but the reply was another stab in his chest. Stabs after stabs followed and finally the body of the mid sixth stage expert fell on the ground.

Zhan Chen took this chance when the mid sixth stage expert was at his weakest stage. He quickly put a slave seal inside the soul of the mid sixth stage expert and looked towards the early sixth stage expert infront of him.

It didn't take much time for him to glean through the information inside the mind of the early sixth stage expert. A grim look appeared on his face after he went through all the information.
