Chapter 25: Yggdrasil XXIII

It took me a month to collect the necessary class data for Fenris. After granting her classes, her status looked like this;

[Flavor Text: She likes to keep to herself. The people she considers family are; her creator and master, Lord Momonga, her sister, Shalltear Bloodfallen, and her siblings. She will go to any lengths for her family. She is deeply in love with her creator and will do anything he asks her to do. She doesn't mind sharing her creator with others. She has good relations with her fellow NPCs. She doesn't mind working with those from the outside world....]

...

To enhance her effectiveness in her designated role, I made compromises by relinquishing specific attributes.

Her racial and job classes would help her perform supporting/healing/attacking roles.

Momonga: "Well then, Fenris. You are now powerful enough to help your little sister, Shalltear. I order you to protect the first 3 floors of Nazarick, and I will come to meet you again. Wander!"

She started wandering around on the first floor of Nazarick.

Momonga: "With that, my task here is done."

I had spent a few months gathering class data for my other NPCs. This caused me to slow down my own progression. It had already been 6 years since the release of Yggdrasil.

Meaning I had only 6 years left. And I wanted to unlock a lot more variants. I also had to create the 11th and 8th Floors.

Momonga: "I need to pick up the pace."

I used the 'Ring of Ainz Ooal Gown' to teleport to the higher floors.

~Scene Change~

19 Players were sitting around a circular table. They were the members of the Red Bears and the members of the Human Guild that Momonga destroyed.

Ivan: "So, let me get this straight. You want to join our guild?"

???: "Yeah, our guild was destroyed by a clan of Heteromorphs."

The leader of the Human Guild, Constellation, spoke with anger in his tone. He had a chiselled body with black hair, purple eyes, and a darker skin tone. His name was Markus.

Ivan: "I see. Care to tell which guild?"

HeroHero: "Alright, take care, Momonga-san."

I left HeroHero and used the 'Ring of Ainz Ooal Gown'(RAOG) to teleport to the first floor.

It was time to get back to grinding. I had more than 15 builds in mind, and a few would demand significant time to finish. To streamline the levelling process, I used "Ouroborus" to request the devs for an item that would store EXP for later use.

Surprisingly, they agreed to my request and gave me the item. It was capable of storing enough EXP to level up 3 times.

The item was a small golden orb with runic engravings on it. And it was a divine-class item. It was called the 'Experience Core.'

Momonga: "Let's get started."

I switched to my Demon variant and flew away from the tomb using *Fly*. I first wanted to fill the item with EXP. I had some experiments I wanted to perform on it.

I flew directly to the high-level area of Helheim. There, many level 100 undead and demons roamed the landscape.

Once above them, I used a 10th-tier spell to kill as many monsters as possible. I had already equipped an item that boosts my MP and Magic Attack.

Momonga: "*Boost Widen Magic: Stellar Domain*"

[MP: 125 -> 110]

A domain formed around me, dealing penetrative fire elemental damage to the enemies. Because undead are weak to fire element, I was able to kill a massive number of them.

[Congragulations! You ...]x20

[Effects of 'Advancement Amulet' and ...]x20

[175,000 EXP has been stored in the 'Experience Core.' Remaining Space:175,000 / 15,000,000]

Momonga: 'Nice.'

I continued my massacre for 2 hours. At the end of which, I had collected over 2.5 Million EXP.

Momonga: 'Time to go to the next location.'

I again used *Fly* and flew to another high-level location.

It took me a month to fill the 'Experience Core.' Now it had 15,000,000 EXP. The next step was to unlock my 12th variant. For this variant, I had a very unique race in mind. I used *Fly* to reach the outskirts of Midgard.

It was covered in a lush forest. This was the beginner's area, so there weren't many high-level monsters.

Momonga: "That's good for me."

I started venturing into the forest. I needed to go to a town to get the process started. Before talking about the racial class, let's first talk about the magic in Yggdrasil.

In Yggdrasil, magic was divided into 4 main categories;

Arcane:- Magic that seemed more Western in nature.

Divine:- Restorative or healing spells used by priests.

Spiritual:- Oriental magic-using talismans or psychic spells. It seemed more Eastern in nature.

Alternative:- Spells that fall outside the other types of spells, like, necromancy spells, spells used by Paladins, defensive type spells, movement type spells, etc.

My Demon variant specializes in Arcane Magic. I have spells from other types, such as healing spells, movement-type spells, etc. But the main focus was Arcane type spells.

But I wanted to specialize in all types of magic. This is where my successive variant comes into play. I wanted to make my new build focus on Summoning magic.

But there were some problems with this type of build. In Yggdrasil, summons was divided into different categories, like undead, angels, demons, monsters, spirits, etc.

A summoner with the ability to call forth both undead and angels might have found that their summons were generally less potent compared to summoners who specialized exclusively in summoning either undead or angels.

A good example would be Momonga from the Original series. He was a necromancer, and his undead summons were more potent than the regular ones.

So I decided to make multiple variants just focused on summoning. By doing so, I would get a higher chance of the mutation of my Bloodline CoE. I would also get to learn more spells.

One of my ultimate goals was to learn all the available spells in Yggdrasil. I wanted to do so because, upon being transferred to the new world, I would have been able to study the magic of Yggdrasil. This played a significant role in my future plan to ascend beyond rank 1.

For my next build, I decided to play as a Fallen Human. It was a unique racial class with powerful abilities for a summoner. But getting it was a hassle. There were many steps I had to follow to unlock it.

For starters, I had to play as a Human. I had already unlocked the human variant and also switched to it.

After an hour of travelling, I reached a town.

To Be Continued...

A/N: Give me name suggestions for the group of NPCs on the 11th Floor. Like the NPCs on the 8th floor are know as The 8th Floor Hierarchy.
