(Brother and sister)

Shen Dongqing finally arrived at a conclusion: “It’s best not to eat it. It’s incredibly hard and not at all tasty.”

Lizzie almost let go of the axe. Her long braids trembled slightly, as though she wanted to rage: Who truly wants to treat you!

She took a deep breath and stabilized her emotions, showing a twisted smile as her voice turned sharp: “Dad is boorish and violent, and mother is lazy. Who do you say deserves to die!” Her decibel suddenly rose causing her voice to almost break, “Answer me!”

Thwack—

The heavy axe smashed a shallow hole in the floor.

At the same time, the two corpses sitting opposite Shen Dongqing began to perform.

First, the father, who was slumped like a mound of rotten flesh on the chair, straightened up. The vicissitude-ridden middle-aged man smiled ambiguously: “Lizzie, oh Lizzie, her body is as soft as cotton candy, her smile is as sweet as chocolate, and her voice is as clear as a kingfisher; who wouldn’t want to kiss her? Who wouldn’t want to hold her?”

“I’m her father, she should obey me in everything. If she doesn’t, my slaps will make her obedient.”

“Good Lizzie, good Lizzie, come to Daddy.”

The cadenced and rhythmic voice that emerged from the middle-aged man’s throat was like singing an opera.

The other lump of sticky meat next to him sat up once he concluded his act.

The mother’s hair was flaxen, and she had freckles all around her nose. She had nothing in common with Lizzie. Her voice was hoarse and piercing, like that of a crazed shrew.

“Lizzie is a little bitch who seduces everyone like her mother.”

“I loathe her, I hate her, I can’t wait to rip her into four pieces—”

“I’ll hack you into forty pieces first, darling mother!” Lizzie giggled.

The middle-aged woman’s eyes were full of rancor: “It’s true that I’m lazy.”

“It’s true that I’m boorish and violent,” the middle-aged man added.

“Are you not at fault?” said the two as their voices combined and they stared at Lizzie.

“You’re artless and innocent, but you pushed your pregnant stepmother over.”

“You’re pure and kind, but you blinded the puppy’s eyes.”

“You’re sweet and cute, but you drowned the kid next door—”

Lizzie didn’t panic at all, instead smiling and saying, “I simply did what I had to do.”

Following the performance of the family of three, the parents returned to their decomposing state and slumped on the chair, emitting a rotten stink.

In general, after hearing the sins of this family of three, players will struggle to make a decision. Because all three were at fault, but the severity of the offense varied.

The father was a XX who sexually abused his own daughter. The stepmother had a defective brain; instead of blaming her husband, she blamed her naive stepdaughter, condoning the father’s behavior to the point that she wanted to kill the stepdaughter. Lizzie pushed the pregnant stepmother, causing her to miscarry, and also harmed the animal and next door child.

After all was said and done, the father was the most guilty of the three. As for Lizzie… Her actions were unlikely to result in a sentence under the Minor Protection Law.

Shen Dongqing was still thinking as an axe stabbed straight at him.

Lizzie chuckled as she held the axe in front of him: “Who deserves to die, I wonder? You just have one option, and you can’t change it if you make the wrong one.”

She appeared to want Shen Dongqing to hack to death the person he believed was the most guilty with his own hands.

Shen Dongqing seized the axe, glanced down at the blade break, and mumbled, “I hate making choices the most…”

Hearing this, Lizzie assumed he was scared and covered her mouth, laughing softly.

Shen Dongqing sighed: “It’s better to chop down everyone.”

Lizzie’s smile froze: ?

“It’s too troublesome to guess riddles. I might as well hack them all. One of them will be the right answer.” Shen Dongqing stood up and brandished the axe with a pure smile, “What do you think?”

Lizzie: ???

Of course she didn’t think so! How could a player snatch the villain’s job?

But before Lizzie could object, a silvery light flashed in front of her eyes, and the axe slammed down with a thud! Luckily, she was short. She ducked and rolled out of the way. She returned her gaze and saw that the axe was deeply lodged in the wooden floor, clearly with significant force.

This wasn’t a joke; this was to kill her!

Lizzie sprang up swiftly and gave the two corpses a look.

The two corpses struggled to their feet and stood in front of Shen Dongqing to obstruct him, while Lizzie took advantage of the chance to flee the cabin.

As Lizzie escaped, she glanced back and saw Shen Dongqing hacking at the two corpses with the axe, causing blood to splash all over the wooden house. With the expression on his face, he appeared to be the villain rather than the villain.

Lizzie was so terrified that she staggered and nearly tripped on a stone. Shen Dongqing pursued her after a short delay.

She picked up her skirt and dashed down the path towards the forest.

Shen Dongqing followed Lizzie, axe in hand.

Lizzie’s body was a child, no matter how vicious her mind was. Shen Dongqing easily caught up to her because she couldn’t sprint fast.

Seeing that she was about to be caught, Lizzie hid behind a tree and escaped.

Shen Dongqing looked around and saw that Lizzie had vanished into thin air, and not even her shadow could be found.

He stood there with the axe, thinking for a while, when he smelled a sweet fragrance coming from the depths of the forest.

“I’m starving.” Shen Dongqing had just nibbled on a carrot chunk, but the taste had left him unsatisfied. His stomach reacted quickly now that he’d smelled the aroma. He set aside the missing Lizzie and followed the smell to find the source.

The trees in this woodland grew in an unusual manner. The limbs were crooked and extended out all about, like grabbing phantom hands, and the trees were pitch black.

Shen Dongqing effortlessly cleaved the branch blocking the path, and a faint scream was heard. He noticed black blood running from the branch section that had fallen to the ground, and the bark was wrinkled, forming a twisted grimace.

He wasn’t scared by the scene, so he stepped on the branch and walked away.

After a while, the interlaced ghost claws in front of him thinned a little, and he could see a cottage in the distance.

The house was vibrantly colored. As he approached the house, he noticed that the walls were made of cookies, the tiles were marshmallows, the windows were chocolate, and the chimney was a lollipop… the entire house was constructed of cookies and candy.

It was unclear whether such a structure was solid or not, but it looked delicious.

Shen Dongqing approached and broke off a piece of marshmallow tile. The marshmallow was soft and sweet, melting in the mouth instantly and leaving behind a sweet taste.

He squinted in pleasure and was about to tear off another piece when he heard a thin and feeble voice.

“Help, help… Please help me…”

Shen Dongqing bit the marshmallow and lowered his head, discovering a small face hidden behind the narrow window.

It was a little girl, thin and small, with tears on her face. Her expression was filled with fear.

The little girl was frail: “This is the witch’s house. Please help me, otherwise the witch will devour my brother and me.”

Shen Dongqing: “Witch?”

The little girl shuddered: “Ye..yes. She’s a monster who feeds on people.”

Shen Dongqing showed some interest.

Despite the fact that he had no idea what these things had to do with his secret, he decided to go into the candy house and take a look.

The candy house’s door was made of chocolate. Shen Dongqing pushed it and discovered that the door was locked, so he rudely knocked it down, took a piece of chocolate and nibbled on it, and set the remainder aside to enjoy later.

The inside of the house was also filled with sweets, all hues in plenty, their aroma saturating the entire space.

“This is such a nice place, can I take it back with me?” sighed Shen Dongqing with feeling.

The game did not respond to his question.

But if it heard it, I’m afraid it’d be a firm refusal – can you stop acting like a bandit and grabbing whatever you see in the game?

Shen Dongqing took the lollipop on the table, licked it, and went inside the room he had seen from the outside.

The room was located deep in the house. He pushed the door open to reveal a large cauldron in the center of the room. The cauldron was smoking, and something was cooking inside. Furthermore, there was a large trunk in the corner, and the little girl was leaning against it.

“Please save my brother, the witch has locked him in the trunk,” the little girl sobbed as she spotted Shen Dongqing approaching.

“We will all be eaten if the witch returns and finds us!”

Shen Dongqing was not in a rush to help anyone. He took a glance around and sat at the table.

There was a lot of food laid out on the table. The witch appeared to have intended to fatten people before devouring them. The little girl was also aware that the fattest person would be eaten, so she avoided eating it. As a result, Shen Dongqing now had convenient access to a feast.

Shen Dongqing was happily eating when the little girl approached cautiously and asked, “Can you open the trunk and save my brother?”

Shen Dongqing: “Huh?”

He’d just finished responding when heavy footsteps were heard outside the door.

The little girl’s face turned pale: “She’s here, she’s here!”

Shen Dongqing: “Who?”

The little girl trembled in terror: “The witch! The witch has returned; she will undoubtedly kill us; let us flee quickly! Bring my brother and we’ll run together!”

Shen Dongqing ate the food on his plate unhurriedly.

The little girl was unusually anxious. She stared at the door as if afraid that the witch would enter the next second.

Fortunately, the witch may have simply passed by and not come into the room. The little girl sighed with relief.

Shen Dongqing had eaten his fill and took time to ask, “Where is your brother?”

The little girl: “Brother is in the trunk!”

Shen Dongqing wiped his hands before approaching the trunk. The little girl followed him with her head bowed, concealing the flash of joy in her eyes, as if her ruse had worked.

The trunk was large enough to hold an adult.

Shen Dongqing put his hands against the trunk on both sides. The trunk was a touch hefty, and opening it required some effort. He peeked down when it was fully opened, but it was completely empty within. There was no such thing as the little girl’s brother.

Shen Dongqing felt a shove from behind him at this point. It was superficial and similar to tickling.

When he turned around, he saw the little girl standing behind him, pushing hard with both hands. She was trying to push him into the trunk while he was distracted.

“What are you doing?” Shen Dongqing wondered.

The little girl had turned red in the face and her expression was filled with disbelief, as if she was asking: Why didn’t you get pushed?!?
