Chapter 409: Actually Struggling?

Chapter 409: Actually Struggling?

'Let's just hope that this goes well,' Ho-sik thought, and just that the moving mission of Zenobia's group started in earnest.

Haru's and his group's effort impressed them and even the constellations.

[Many Constellations of The Absolute Good side are overjoyed with the results.]

[The Constellation 'Noble Child Of The Sun' is happy to see everything going smoothly.]

[The Constellation 'I Like Feet' is impressed by this turn of events.]

[The Constellation 'I Am Worth More Than That' is liking the way every resource is used.]

[The Constellation 'General Who Had Dinner With Hades' is impressed with the sense of unity in the group.]

[The Constellation 'Demonic Judge Of Fire' is cheering you on.]

[The Constellation 'Scribe Of Heaven' is interested in your next move.]

[The Constellation 'Secretive Plotter' is laughing.]

'Good, nothing seems out of the ordinary yet,' Haru was keeping an eye on the messages even while dodging the monsters, because as soon as these start to clamor things will get troublesome.

While on the bridge...

"We need to keep a lookout for the monsters that come from behind?" Soo-young asked plainly and Sang-ah nodded.

'It isn't much of a job,' Dok-ja shrugged since Gil-young was still looking out for monsters and would alert them, not to mention that they would also be able to see them clearly, they were in the middle of a bridge that had one side broken off.

'She seems more interested in what is going on back there anyway,' Dok-ja noticed that Soo-young was just looking at the bridge that was being constructed, it was surely a great sight because of how the skills that were given to them to kill others people, were being used for building something which will help others.

But to Dok-ja, the way Haru and Hae-in moved was more fascinating since it looked so fantasy-like, this just went on to show how much the real world has changed in just a little over a week.

And just a few minutes after that, the ice sheet crossed 40 feet.

"Phew* that certainly is exhausting," Haru sighed as he climbed back up the bridge with Hae-in.

'Or does he not expect anything, and doesn't trust others because he knows that he could end up being betrayed if he did?' Seol-hwa didn't know the answers to these questions, it was a complicated matter that she, and probably everyone who had led a group in the current times had thought about.

This was the main reason why humans didn't help each other in the scenarios, because the chance of being betrayed was too high. This uncertainty and fear was the thing the Dokkaebis used to sow further discord into the people.

But Seol-hwa didn't care about others, all she cared about was what Haru thought of this.

He was still moving forward with helping people even while knowing this could happen again, he helped her even when she was an enemy; he helped that guy who in the end caused trouble for him.

'And this guy as well,' Seol-hwa glanced at Dok-ja who was looking around, 'Hae-in said that he also betrayed him.' She definitely didn't have a good impression of this guy after she learned about what happened before.

'Did he not feel bad?' Seol-hwa hadn't seen any disappointment on Haru's face yet, he was still the same even after letting them join back on this mission. She was sure that if the other guy didn't leave he would also be included, 'Am I in the same category as them then?' She couldn't help but think that.

And it could be true, she could simply be one of the people Haru saved but never truly accepted in the group, she might also be the part of the people that he wouldn't care about if they left, since they don't matter to him in the slightest.

'That is bad...' Seol-hwa shook her head, this wasn't right and because of that, 'If no one else does, then I'll do it.' She would let him think in that way, 'I'll show you that your efforts weren't meaningless.'

'Even if I have to die to prove it, I'll do that.' Seol-hwa cut her finger and dropped her red blood into the liquid, 'Since without you... I wouldn't have this life anyway.'

Seol-hwa was reaffirming her thoughts while on the other hand, the bridge of ice was about to be completed.

"Just a little more, you can do it Jin-ah!" Haru said as Jin-ah sighed, she was having trouble since such a thing wouldn't be tough if she did it normally.

'But that is the problem, I have to make it slowly and act like I am struggling,' Jin-ah deadpanned because now, 'I am actually struggling!!'

It was just that there was no one to hear her misgivings, Queresha was surely not going to listen to her complaints and just nail her with the 'This is why I told you to train harder.' before increasing her training by 3 times.

'There is not enough sunlight these days,' Alea on the other hand was chill since her job was easier, she had the arcs as support so she could start with thinner vines, then make it look like she had strengthened them slowly as they wrapped around the ice path that Jin-ah was making.

'But the air is fresher,' She was being a little too chill.

'It is about time to give these guys some meat to sink their teeth in,' Haru on the other hand had just come back from fighting off the ichthyosaurs a second time, and things were looking rough... if they had to keep up with their plan, which is why he had to move and do something, 'After all no one likes a rising power with secret powers'

"Your skill is quite useful," Haru approached Lycaon who had been watching him for a while.

"It is something my race is proud of," Lycaon gave a stiff response, but it wasn't on purpose since he knew what Haru was going to ask for, "But I cannot help you any further than this."

There were rules and Lycaon had to follow them as a guide, otherwise he'd end up like Antinus.

But he was wrong here...
