Chapter 334: What Happened To Nam-woon?

Chapter 334: What Happened To Nam-woon?

There was nothing to be found here aside from the faint whispers that were coming closer to her with each passing moment. And before long, she could hear those words once again.

"Why are you alive?"

"Why did you kill us?"

"Die Die Die Die,"

"How can you live as if nothing has happened?"

"You took our family away,"

'There is nothing new in them,' This was something she heard every time she closed her eyes.

The curses, the anger, and the hatred behind those words she felt every time. She couldn't stop them and neither could she run away from them. This caused her to be stuck in this place for years just standing in one place and listening to these words. Over and over again.

It was the voices of the people she knew, the people she ruled over in her kingdom. It was the voice of the people she killed after the insect monarch took over her body.

It was the nightmare that would never leave her as long as she lives. And something that had taken her to the brink of despair, to the point that she didn't want to live anymore.

'But it is ok,' Queresha thought as there were times this nightmare did leave her alone, and a small ball of fire floated in front of her.

It emitted gentle warmth, one that she was very familiar with guiding her to move forward in this darkness by lighting up a path near her feet, The light didn't go more than a few feet in from of her. But that was alright as she believed that it will lead her to a safe place.

CRACK* SHATTER*

[Yu Jung-hyuk has used the skill 'Resuscitation Lv. 2']

"Queresha-ssi Look out," Dok-ja shouted as Queresha was standing in place and Jung-hyuk appeared in front of her after breaking the ice pillar that held him.

"We need to help her quickly," Dok-ja could see that Queresha was fighting off the mental attack from the cinema master.

STAB*

But Dok-ja and Ji-hye were too slow, Jung-hyuk had already stabbed Queresha through the chest.

"Unnie!!" Ji-hye shouted in horror as she saw that but in the next instant that horror turned into shock as Queresha's body turned into ropes of darkness and bound Jung-hyuk completely on the spot.

CRACKLE*

"Move back," Dok-ja shouted with fear as he had a bad feeling.

Though Dok-ja saw that Ji-hye was faster than him in moving back, His face twitched as...

CRACKLE* BANG* BOOOOOOOM*

With a thundering boom, a bolt of lightning fell, right on top of the bound Jung-hyeok before he could even react to it, making the entire terrace tremble in the aftermath.

[Yu Jung-hyuk's 'Lightning resistance' has been pierced.]

[The Cinema Master 'Simulation' is panicking.]

"Seoul is really destroyed," Ji-hye muttered as she was looking at the scene in front of her.

It was still mostly dark out as it was 1 A.M. but some areas were illuminated by the light that came off the burning buildings and it only showed the desolate landscape of the once bustling city.

Such was the case no matter which direction they look, with broken bridges over the Han river, and big rhinos running about destroying everything they happened to crash into.

'He is actually praying,' Dok-ja looked at Hyun-sung who was doing prayer with a solemn expression while looking at the city.

"I'll be going down, so if you want to follow come along," Queresha said as she walked towards the door that led downstairs.

"Queresha-ssi, aren't you going to heal Jung-hyuk?" Dok-ja asked quickly since Jung-hyuk was very badly injured.

"It would be a waste of mana ....Since he has a self-recovery skill," Queresha left after saying that.

'Jung-hyuk it looks like Queresha-ssi really doesn't like you,' Dok-ja smiled wryly as he could feel that Queresha only added the last line in jest. She really seemed to not like Jung-hyuk.

"Alright then Ji-hye you take care of this guy, I'll go down," Dok-ja left Jung-hyuk to Ji-hye.

"What you suddenly not Master's companion?" Ji-hye asked with a frown.

"I am but it is a disciple's job to take care of their injured master, Bye~!" Dok-ja smiled as he ran off with Hyun-sung and Gil-young following Queresha downstairs.

They all quickly reached the station below seeing their group was still on the second floor but there seemed to be a bit of a problem.

"Ha! The Forces of the underworld have retreated in fear, I, The Vanguard of the Unholy am still standing, Come and Do your worst!! HAHAHAHA!" Nam-woon was standing in the middle of the empty first floor, laughing with his nose raised to the ceiling. His clothes were mostly covered in monster blood and his own as it seemed like he just had a battle.

[The Constellation 'Abyssal Black Flame Dragon' is shouting with immense joy 'Let's Go BABBBBYYYYYYYYYY, WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO']

[800 coins have been sponsored.]

His supporting constellation seemed overjoyed by this situation.

"What is happening here?" Queresha uttered the words all of them were thinking.

To understand that we'll need to go a bit back in time. A few minutes after Queresha left to find Dok-ja and the company, Haru was sitting alone till he was approached by someone.

"...Nam-woon, need something?" Haru asked as Nam-woon sat beside him, he looked a lot more serious than before. Which was a bit weird, No fuck that, it was totally weird. Haru still hasn't been able to wrap his head around this mystery.

"Indeed, I do think that Hyung's help is what I need the most right now," Nam-woon nodded.

"Hmm, what is it?" Haru asked.

....

I was thinking of changing the schedule for this fic as well,

I'll do four chapters per week for all three fics and have them go from Monday to Thursday back to back and let the three days off.

it'll start from the coming week,

that is all, bye.
