Chapter 66.2 – Making Up For Everything

Qi Yang finally changed out of her heavy auspicious clothes, and only wore her ordinary red clothes as she washed up in the inner room. She still had makeup on her face, so she had to wash up before she could rest. Lu Qipei who smelled of alcohol also went to wash up quickly.

The warm water that had been prepared for a long time had slightly cooled down, but it became just cold enough to cool down her burning cheeks when she splashed it on her face.

Qi Yang cleaned her makeup and used the soft cloth towel beside the water basin to wipe her cheek. She couldn’t help feeling a bit shy and nervous, thinking of Lu Qipei’s remark about making up what she owed her today.

Maybe because those words were spoken in an ambiguous occasion, or because the speaker’s eyes were shining brightly, Qi Yang couldn’t help but think of dubious things.

Alright, wedding night, wedding chamber, these shouldn’t count as dubious things, right? But when she thought about what would naturally come after this, she could not help but feel shy and hesitate, so she kept delaying by washing up longer and longer.

When Qi Yang finally returned to the inner room, she saw that Lu Qipei who had finished washing up herself had been sitting on the bed waiting for her.

Lu Qipei, who was leaning against the bedside, was obviously sleepy from the busy day and the drinking. Her eyes were half open and half closed, as if she could fall asleep anytime, but she opened her eyes to look at the washing room from time to time. When Qi Yang appeared, light flashed on her dazed eyes, and she suddenly regained her energy.

She opened her eyes and sat up again, looking at Qi Yang who had finally returned with soft and cute eyes.

Qi Yang was almost bewitched by her gaze, and her shyness and hesitation seemed to disappear instantly. She walked directly towards Lu Qipei, placed her hand on her shoulder, and called out softly. “Ah Pei.”

With one person sitting and one person standing, Lu Qipei had to look up at her.

Right now, Qi Yang had taken off her auspicious clothes and only wore her inner robes. Her hair that was as black as ink were worn loose, and its combination with her red clothes highlighted her snow-white skin. Her Royal Highness The Princess who had removed her makeup did not lose any of her charm. Especially when her beautiful eyes looked at her softly, Lu Qipei could almost see the deep feeling hidden behind them.

Qi Yang’s lips suddenly curved into a smile. Amidst the flickering of the red candles, it seemed to hold a different meaning.

Lu Qipei felt that the Qi Yang tonight was different from the past, and looked particularly moving. Her heart beat like a drum as she watched her fascinatedly. Lu Qipei unconsciously took Qi Yang’s hand, effortlessly pulling the person in front of her into her arms.

When Qi Yang fell into Lu Qipei’s arms, there was a flash of surprise on her face. She looked up and saw an embarrassed face – Lu Qipei had probably recovered and now felt that she had been too impulsive.

Lu Qipei’s heart was still beating like a drum – she wanted to let go of Qi Yang, but at the same time felt reluctant to let go. In the end, she could only half hug her and half embrace her, not knowing where to put her hands and feet.

This was really… so dumb!

For a while, Qi Yang didn’t know whether she should laugh or be angry, but she didn’t intend to get up from this posture. She leaned comfortably against her Prince Consort’s arms, grabbing Lu Qipei’s shoulder with one hand, and lifting her chin with the other.

“What is it, what does my Prince Consort want to do with me?” She asked her bluntly.

Lu Qipei blushed, turning even redder and redder. She could feel the hand gently rubbing her chin, and the subtle itch seemed to go straight from her chin all the way to her heart, making it numb and itchy.

“I…” Lu Qipei opened her mouth as her eyes wandered around. Her voice was a bit hoarse, and she didn’t know what to say.

Qi Yang wasn’t in a hurry and just looked at her eyes. When the two looked at each other, something seemed to gradually emerge and change between them, and the surrounding atmosphere seemed to grow hotter.

Finally, the hand rubbing Lu Qipei’s chin moved away. But before she could feel the loss, she felt the hand stroking down her neck, finally stopping on her collar.

Qi Yang looked at Lu Qipei as if she was not aware how she was provoking the latter. “It’s getting late, it’s time to go to bed.”

Lu Qipei pursed her lips, her eyes looking pure and obedient. She was vaguely nervous, as if she didn’t know how to react. But immediately, she felt a small hand pushing down on her shoulder – it was obviously not very strong, but it easily pushed her down.

Their positions were instantly swapped, with Qi Yang now in the dominant position.

She leaned over to her Prince Consort’s ear and whispered, “You said you would make up to me, the wedding night.”

After she said that, Qi Yang looked at the delicate earlobe in front of her and leaned forward for a kiss. But unexpectedly, she felt as if heaven and earth were overturned before she could move. When she came back to her senses, what she saw was the festive red bed canopy.

She blinked and turned her eyes slightly, and her eyes met those bright, pure and obedient eyes…

That familiar handsome face approached, and a light kiss fell down, repeating continuously, forgetting to stop.

Qi Yang was slightly suffocated and soon ran out of breath. She subconsciously hugged the slender waist of the person on top of her, but she felt that a hand had already taken the opportunity to explore under her collar.

That slender hand caressed the smooth and soft skin, bringing an inexplicable tremble…

Author notes:

Lu Qipei (looking very pleased): Look, I’m making up for the wedding night!

Qi Yang (satisfied): Alright, it’s just making up for it. Who doesn’t anyway?
