Chapter 54 Young Master rizz

54 Young Master rizz

Han Li looked at Yue Li and Liyue's backs as they entered Liyue's home. Then, he yawned and walked to the side.

His Mom and Liyue's mother were going to speak and meet with each other for the first time. But that didn't really interest him, he had just come alongside for the sake of it.

Standing outside and looking up at the moon hidden half under whisk-like dark clouds, he took the flagon of alcohol on his side and took a sip.

The fruity taste glided down his throat, sending a warm sensation throughout his body. "It's weak but it does have its charm," he said.

Walking from the side leading to the merchant area, a fat man came towards him and said, "I was wondering where the smell of wine came from. No wonder, it was you. When did you come?"

Han Li raised the flagon. The morning rain's effects had yet to vanish and today's night was especially piercing. "How is it fatso, want a drink?" he asked with a shake of the flagon.

"I would have," Pang Li sighed and put the bag in his hand down, "But as you know, my defect after failure is around the stomach. Alcohol doesn't go well with me."

Taking another gulp, Han Li breathed out some turbid air. "Uh, with that kind of pain... it really is quite troublesome."

Pang Li nodded and sat down to the side. He was already dirty from all the mud and rain, it didn't really matter to him if his back got muddy. "Try not to fail in your Evolution if you don't want to experience something like that."

Han Li corked the flagon and put it to the side. "I always wanted to ask you. Why do you work so hard now? Your daughter is safe in my hands and your wife is also not going to have much to look forward to by you gaining some small fortune. So what is it that makes you work so hard?"

Turning silent, Pang Li simply leaned on his house's walls. "Maybe alcohol doesn't hurt once in a while."

Han Li passed him the flagon. The man undid the cork and took a deep sip.

Then, he turned silent for a long while before answering. "I never had anything to my name, no house, no family, nothing."

Rising an eyebrow, Han Li's eyes twitched. A big backstory?

"But I never flinched and became capable enough to marry a woman. That's Li Yao. I ended up marrying her, and similarly, in the end, Liyue is also my daughter. I am sure I will die in 20 or 30 years at most... I want to at least leave behind good memories of myself and something by which to remember me."

"So, the riches you leave behind would be your memento?" Han Li asked.

"Yes. It will be."

"Can I ask you something Fatty? How long had it been since you and Li Yao spoken?"

"I would agree with no more thought."

Han Li smirked, "Go to Sarak City and visit the Highland Merchant Association, tell them that you are the Lord of coins sent by Gramura. Believe me, you will be the richest man in that town from then on. As for Li Yao and Liyue, don't worry about them anymore. I will take care of them."

Pang Li looked at the young man deeply and then chuckled. Sarak City was just one day away from here, so if he was scammed, he could come back any time.

He stood up and once more looked at the young man for the last time. In his mind, Han Li was a young master from a big clan who came and saw his daughter. He fancied her and he wanted her, in that same manner, Han Li saw his wife next and he wanted her too.

As a young master, he should have enough money to heal Li Yao too. He didn't have to know the rest, He understood Han Li was giving him a deal for his wife and daughter instead of a simple question. He was an intelligent businessman, he, of course, looked for more benefits. If he said no, everything would just be the same, only dumb idiots would choose that in his opinion.

Now Li Yao and Liyue were set for life and he was the same. As long as Han Li was true and not just pulling some kind of ridiculous prank.

But he was sure in his talent to read the room, so Pang Li chuckled heartily and instead of heading home, walked away from it.

Today was a good day, no, a great day. He had achieved his life's purpose.

He hadn't gotten rich in this city, but it was the same. Now there was just a 1 day travel to Sarak and he just had to spend his remaining life in his own way.

Han Li looked at him with a chuckle. Before he knew it, the man had understood his wishes and even seen through him. In reading the room at least, Pang Li was better than himself.

'But really, now I became the young master who takes women everywhere he goes...' He chuckled even louder.

As for the Sarak City? That was a place where some people were waiting for an heir to come. In truth, in Han Li's past life, after the Heir finally arrived; it was revealed that the one who said this specific code was to be chosen as an heir even if he was a commoner before.

But that code was something only an absurdly lucky person could find. Nevertheless, this time, even before the code was revealed, Han Li knew it. So it was his to give or take.

And he didn't mind losing it since he had many such encounters in his past life.

Losing one was nothing. 'Now I have to slowly make Li Yao mine...'

As for healing Pang Li? He was not the only person with a Life Dao-type Spark who could absorb Soul Energy out of others. There were clans out there who would heal people who failed in Evolution for a price.

With the amount the fatty gets, it won't be too much to spend some to heal himself.

Pang Li also understood the game.
