Chapter 192: Cultivation time

Cultivating towards the God Realm was an arduous task that very few have accomplished in the universe, however, most big sects had at least 10 or so God Realm experts or various stages ranging from early to late holding the first with at least 1 peak God Realm expert.

Currently, Yun Jhin's sect could be considered to be in the middle grades as he had 2 early God Realm experts around the 3rd stage of the God Realm or so.

The only reason his sect wasn't attacked by the righteous ones was that he had successfully activated the formation and the blood river which would make him a ferocious figure to fight against, the only problem was that the blood river was stationary and Yun Jhin couldn't take it with him so he was pretty much on house arrest.

Yun Jhin's figure couldn't be seen in the blood mist as he breathed in and out, from time to time he would pop in one of the fruits that Gu Manshu gave him his cultivation had slowly reached the peak of the sage realm after eating thousands of these fruits and the combination of the blood river passive ability to increase cultivation speed.

It had been around 2 years since Gu Manshu came and left with Yun Jhin's memory core technique and he was finally nearing the entrance to the God Realm!

While he cultivated the sect's businesses had been handed to the old man duo and considering they could handle a Bazaar they could also handle the medium-sized sect, the number of disciples had also increased to a total of 5,000,000 halfway to the maximum capacity of the meteorite.

Yun Jhin had way more territory before besides this meteorite but it had been claimed by the other sects and unless he had filled this territory to the brim there was no reason to go ahead and antagonize those sects yet.

Cultivating in the God Realm meant one thing. One had to learn the laws of the universe and apply them onto the mortal body to make it pretty much immortal on one side, as God Realm experts were extremely hard to kill.

They were akin to cockroaches on their ability to survive as even if one cell of their bodies survived they could regenerate from that part to full power! Which meant their body refining cultivation wouldn't reset!

Early Gods would take a few months to regenerate while middle gods would take around days but late Gods would take minutes to seconds and that was without any resources used!

The devil that Yun Jhin decapitated back at the dark pagoda had used some herbs that he fused with his body to reconstruct his body along with half of the ki in his body but he could have waited naturally for his body to regenerate in one month to 2 weeks or so at most as he was around the middle stages.

The reason for the God Realm expert's extreme vitality was the laws they grasped!

Every law they learned would fuse with their body and elevate its vitality and lifespan to a new level!

Yun Jhin had already prepared with all of the laws he was previously proficient in by the time he was at the King Realm, all those gems that he had remolded into his new crown which fused with his soul would be useful as they were the foundation for the God Realm entrance!

Yun Jhin's body started to glow as he threw all of the fruits from the spatial ring into the air around him as they started to slowly fuse with the blood mist then he opened his mouth and started to suck in the mist from the air into his mouth just like a whale drinking water!

His eyes turned bloodshot as he opened them and started to mutter something under his breath, his soul appeared in full view as green and purple giant behind him, the crown with one gigantic gem in it appeared as the crown started to disappear leaving only the shining gem, Yun Jhin removed the gem from his soul as it started to bleed blue transparent blood and he threw the gem directly into his body!

He already had learned a lot of laws in his previous lives and he only needed a catalyst to activate them, the catalyst being the gem that he had created and evolved during the King and Sage realms.

The gem entered his body as it started to dissolve releasing all of the laws from the items and the laws that he had inserted in the gem from his soul.

The injury from his soul quickly closed up as his body started spasming down in the blood river and the laws from the gem started to dissolve into his body.

The laws would naturally be a burden for a normal body to withstand and Yun Jhin's body cultivation was currently lacking due to him reconstructing his body.

However, this was where the fruits that Gu Manshu gave him would do their magic!

The fruits that he had fused with the blood mist and assimilated into his body finally started to react to the laws that were slowly being absorbed by Yun Jhin's body and destroying it from within, they were like hungry sharks smelling blood and attacking!

The fruit essence took a hold of the laws and started to fuse with them taming them and making them easier to absorb for Yun Jhin's body along with strengthening them.

Every fruit had the fragmented lives and memories of thousands to hundreds of thousands of people in it, every life had an understanding of the laws no matter how small it was.

Technically the universe was governed by those laws but God Realm experts went against the universe and took ahold of the laws so they could govern the universe!

God experts could be considered rebels of the universe if you could count the universe as the Emperor and every living being in it being its vassals.

Yun Jhin's twitching body started to stabilize as his soul oversaw the whole process from above, now that his body was stable he could send his knowledge of laws into his body to remold it into a God body, at this point Gods would have a very hard time to breakthrough as their souls needed to be tempered by the laws they learned as well but Yun Jhin's soul was already recovered and he knew a lot of laws.

The steady stream of a complete law started to descend upon Yun Jhin's body who was now seated at the bottom of the river of blood doing breathing exercises instinctively as glowing runes were inscribed all over his body, even his insides!

Yun Jhin's soul was giddy as he smiled and continued the infusion, if things went well at the end of the session he would have achieved the God Realm!

To increase one's cultivation in the God Realm one had to subdue more laws and have a correspondingly strong body to house those laws, at the 1st stage one had 1 law mastered fully.

As Yun Jhin had already mastered a lot of laws he only needed a strong body to achieve a breakthrough as he could infuse his body with the next law with his accordingly strong soul.

2nd stage - 2 laws

3rd stage - 4 laws

4th stage - 8 laws

5th stage - 16 laws

6th stage - 32 laws

8th stage - 64 laws

9th stage - 128 laws

Yun Jhin had reached the last stage in his previous life and became a huge potentate of the universe learning and mastering 128 laws, unfortunately for the 10th stage to be reached and become half a step into the next realm one needed 256 laws to be learned.

It took Yun Jhin approximately 20,000 years per 10 laws and he could live for around 350,000 years. Considering he was one of the youngest God Realm cultivators only at around 1,500 years old his progress was pretty impressive.

But compared to his previous progress his current one was even better, but it was only enough for him to reach those 256 laws and not more, after all, if Yun Jhin speculations were true he needed to learn and master 512 laws to reach the realm above the God one and this was the only speculation it wasn't known if he would even reach that realm if he mastered 512 laws, as he wasn't even sure how many laws governed the universe!

Yun Jhin sighed as he looked down at his body as the metamorphosis started to happen, he would enter the God Realm!

The runes inscribed in his body started to glow as the word 'elements' appeared in all of the runes, fire, water, earth, wind the four elements started to rampage around Yun Jhin and inside his body, his eyes glowed with the light of the godly fire, seemingly as if a flaming meteorite was reflected in them, his body glittered as if it was made from the water of celestials on the surface it looked to be gentle but on the underneath a tsunami was ready to explode! Strong winds as if a typhoon was ready to descend started to run around his surroundings and the earth below his feet started to shake as if an earthquake was happening.

The law governing the five elements was currently inscribing itself into Yun Jhin's body making it impervious to them and giving him perfect control over them as well! It was at the level of natural disasters!
