Chapter 169: Yuan Fang's forces

The voice was male and it sounded close to Yun Jhin's location but it wasn't intended for him.

A blonde-haired man with a good complexion, high nose, and pronounced cheekbones his hair was wild and long, reaching his waist it was also very spiky, he wore nothing but a brown armor that covered his chest area and a green gi underneath he also wore sandals on his feet. He was watching the portal that led to hell. He said those words but they weren't targeted at Yun Jhin... it almost seemed as if he was preparing for an act and he was rehearsing.

Yun Jhin felt the man was quite strange so he stood still to not be found and waited for him to continue:

"Ah... the tonality isn't good enough, I need to make sure the dumb imps who leave through here get intimidated and run back in! That would give me a good reason to visit hell but alas..."

He sighed as he shook his head and continued to say the same phrase as before but he changed his tones making the meaning differ from trying to try.

Yun Jhin realized that the man had a few screws loose, most cultivators had their own ticks and craziness in their personality, very few could be considered 'normal'.

The man would most likely be one of Yuan Fang's stronger companions and Yun Jhin could feel his strength even though his senses were a bit impeded due to his injuries.

He was infinitely close to the God Realm as a peak sage, Yun Jhin found him to be rather strange as the aura he was exuding would be fluctuating from time to time his cultivation becoming higher and lower.

He didn't have time for Yuan Fang's man as he tried to step to the side and leave him alone, in this situation he didn't want to get anyone's attention. Even though he couldn't be identified as Yun Jhin anymore, he wasn't sure what Yuan Fang was doing with the escapees and tourists from Hell.

He might start creating his own forces into hell instead of manipulating the current ones... things were really going well for him in comparison to Yun Jhin.

He left the man behind to continue monologuing it seemed he would stop only when someone would actually walk out of the portal.

Yun Jhin took a few steps towards the center of the ruins so he could leave when the portal started to flicker with a red radiance... this didn't happen normally unless a high ranking creature of hell would go through for the first time.

This wasn't right, Yun Jhin would have realized if someone was entering the portal behind him which meant the person who was entering didn't follow him, was it really a coincidence, or was it something else?

The man with a monkey tail appeared, the same person that worked previously with Yuan Fang on the elves' planet.

The man was totally unknown to Yun Jhin but he saw that the blonde man didn't do anything to him which indicated that he was one of Yuan Fang's men.

Suddenly his voice stopped him in his tracks:

"Yo Borgos, I have come with some hot news from Hell connect me to the boss."

His voice was child-like and his face showed that he felt that the news was going to be pretty important to Yuan Fang.

Yun Jhin didn't wait to find out what the news was, it was most likely the fact that he lost his body and was heavily injured by Hell's will, Yun Jhin knew that he was somewhat tailed in Hell, at least he couldn't keep his tracks fully hidden unless he continued to stay in hell, now that he was gone and most likely hell had boasted about his defeat everyone must have known thus his prestige and influence in hell was most likely gone.

In this situation, he couldn't do much so he started to run away so he wouldn't be found out by Yuan Fang. He was always a mysterious person so there was a chance he could be found out through the transmission, unlike his cronies he was actually skilled to the point that Yun Jhin would be pressured in a 1v1 fight, that was why he teamed up with those 'righteous' fools to kill him in his last life.

He left the duo behind to call on their boss and started to fly away slowly while keeping himself invisible so he couldn't trigger any of the formations that were planted around the ruins, while most of them were almost destroyed they could be triggered if he wasn't careful enough.

It didn't take him a lot of time to leave the ruins as he gave out a content sigh then started to move towards the neutral galaxies, his best bet at recovering was finding an unknown little place and meditate in seclusion.

But to find that place would be a little easier said than done, most of the galaxy was pretty much known by now regardless if it was populated by neutral, righteous, or evil forces to find an unknown place and where he wouldn't be harassed by any of the forces was a little impossible at this point.

He needed both time and a location that was pretty packed with high-quality ki so that meant a place with little to no population but with an advanced ki concentration as well, he couldn't go to any random deserted place with average ki concentration.

Even in his past lives, he didn't know of such a place and it wasn't known if such a place popped up in the galaxy.

He changed the imp body through his ki techniques making himself look like an unassuming middle-aged man but he still left out some of his devil-ish features to make himself look a little bit more convincing as a newbie from hell, he had red shaggy hair and if someone moved it a little two little protruding horns could be seen growing from it, his ears were a little more elongated than normal and his eyes were deep red. His mouth was full of sharp fangs and some characteristic runic tattoos of hell were engraved on his 'human' body.

He needed to cement this new identity of his so he could lay low for a while.

He still had the new racial technique of the celestial caterpillar that he could try out but he was a little bit too paranoid to use it in Hell as it could trigger some events that were easily foreseen by him, he could mask the ability as a demonic one and do the same in the mortal realm as well but that was only after he rested enough to make himself a new body, he didn't really like the current borrowed one.

Yun Jhin flew towards a neutral asteroid as he didn't want to land on a planet yet, there he procured some information using the special talents that he cultivated during his numerous lives. It seemed that there was no such planet that he wanted to find so he had to settle for something else.

The elves were small in population compared to the other races in the universe and he could play his act like a demon who was attracted to 'elvish beauties' very well, the pure energy that the world mother and father three could exude would also replenish his injured soul quintessence.

After making sure the elvish planets were in the same location he decided to travel using the local travel and smuggling agency on the asteroid this way he could continue his act as a weak newcomer from hell with low cultivation. As time passed this new body of his could adapt to his soul cultivation and the blood of the celestial caterpillar that was overflowing inside it with the system's help.

Technically speaking such blood should be like poison to the body of the lowly imp but with Yun Jhin's new experience in bloodline mixing, he easily made the body endure.

He embarked on a spatial flying ship after giving out some hell-specific treasures as bribes, currently, he didn't have much capital with him.

The journey to the elvish planet was long and arduous for the broken and run-down ship that Yun Jhin was let on.

It took them almost 3 months in total to reach the planet but Yun Jhin used this time to fully adapt to his new body and push it to the 3rd stage of the sage realm, the reconstruction of his avatar was done using recycled energy, while he self-destructed his avatar and made it disappear in shards, he had kept some of the shards into his soul which he could use to reconstruct it at a lower cultivation base... after all his former avatar made him reach the 7th stage.

The elves' planet was fully green and full of forests, the small inconspicuous ship landed in one of the smaller cities on the planet and Yun Jhin left it going with the crowd of other people that he shared the journey with.

Yun Jhin looked around and identified this planet had the mother tree on it and nodded... the father tree was harder to deal with but the mother tree could be easily swayed to give him what he needed as long as he played his cards right. His eyes glittered as he looked at the supple bodies of the elves around him regardless of gender.
