Name:My Groom Ran Away Author:
After ten minutes, Qian Fan struggled to complete eating the sandwich under the pressure of Cheng Yuelin’s eyes. After a pause, he had to reach out for another one.

Cheng Yuelin supported his chin with his hand lazily and watched Qian Fan ate his failed creation and asked, “Do you still want to eat this in the future?”

Qian Fan quickly shook his head.

He swore, he would never again secretly covet Ruan Zhiyin’s sandwiches in the future.

Brother Lin must have his taste buds covered by love. How can he keep eating sister-in-law’s sandwiches without making a face!

Ruan Zhiyin did not know that the two failed sandwiches both entered Qian Fan’s stomach.

After the last conversation, her relationship with Cheng Yuelin, which had been vaguely polite, seemed to have suddenly improved a lot.

Ruan Zhiyin knew that Cheng Yuelin had a lot of business deals and other arrangements with people from the planning bureau, so these days she would often bring documents that needed approval to the study to ask him about parts she did not understand and he did not mind giving her advice.

After getting home in the evening, Ruan Zhiyin listened to Cheng Yuelin in the study room and nodded her head as she listened to his explanations of the specific process of planning and evaluating. She subconsciously replied, “Thank you.”

Behind the desk, Cheng Yuelin raised a brow and his dark eyes held a smile. “Ruan Yingying, you sure like to thank me these days?”

Ruan Zhiyin’s face froze slightly, and then she frowned.

That seemed to be true. These days she had definitely thanked Cheng Yuelin quite a few times.

As for the reasons, it was not only just for work, but also for other things in life.

Previously, the second bedroom had a leaky pipe in the bathroom.

Ruan Zhiyin had originally wanted to hire a repairman to come over and take a look. After she spoke to Cheng Yuelin about it, the man smiled and shook his head and asked her to lead him to the bathroom.

He looked at it a few times and then Cheng Yuelin turned around and went to the utility room to grab some spare pipe. Then, under Ruan Zhiyin’s watchful gaze, in a few minutes, the pipe had been fixed and there was no more leaking.

Ruan Zhiyin naturally did not know that Cheng Yuelin could fix plumbing and her expression was quite surprised.

When Cheng Yuelin saw her expression, he raised his eyebrows casually and said, “See, this is the advantage of having a man in the house.”

Looking at the man’s teasing eyes, Ruan Zhiyin could not help but feel as though she could not help it. She ignored his teasing attitude and thanked him with a smile.

If she counted, during the past few days, she had already thanked Cheng Yuelin tens of times. Ruan Zhiyin did not expect it to be this frequent.

When Cheng Yuelin saw her frozen holding the documents, he reached out a hand and laughed as he patted her head. “Ruan Yingying, if you accept my help, you do not have to always thank me. You used to tutor me and you also did not receive any tutoring fees.”

Ruan Zhiyin came back to her senses and heard him bring up the time in senior high when she had helped tutor him.

Looking at the documents in her hand, she could not help but shake her head. “Who would have thought that you would now be able to decipher such cryptic and boring documents?”

Ruan Zhiyin had tutored him and had not received any compensation, but it was also one of the conditions of a bet between her and Cheng Yuelin.

In her third year of senior high, it had already been about two years since Ruan Zhiyin had been retrieved by Grandfather Ruan back to the Ruan family.

She knew that she was not good at speaking and she had not considered applying abroad for school and had decided to stay within the country to take the Gaokao.

Ruan Zhiyin’s review and study speed was fast. During the second month after she entered her senior year, she had already completely finished reviewing her entire high school curriculum and had begun to brush up on previous year’s example questions.

After consolidating her foundations, she had begun looking into the difficult problems.

Qin Jue’s mathematics was better than hers and Ruan Zhiyin would occasionally run into mathematics questions she did not understand. So she would go to the Science Class next door to ask Qin Jue for help.

During the evening study hall, after Ruan Zhiyin had looked over a math problem for half an hour and still could not figure out the solution.

During class, she got up and got ready to go to the next class to ask Qin Jue for help, but Cheng Yuelin had reached out and blocked her way. He refused to move, no matter what.

Even though Ruan Zhiyin had a good temper, she was still infuriated by his delinquent attitude.

The other person looked at her expression and looked at the question on the paper and light heartedly asked, “Is the question so difficult, that you need to find Qin Jue for help?”

Ruan Zhiyin was still angry, but her words were cold. “It is difficult. At least you cannot solve it.”
