Chapter 538 - The shameless man on her bed

Lin Lihua pulled his hands off her waist violently. "I'm not your honey! Get lost. We are divorced." 

Henry Blanc remained static. "Not yet." 

Lin Lihua really wanted to beat the life out of him. "Can you not infuriate me in the middle of the night?" 

Henry Blanc smiled childishly. He really hoped this will work. "About that, can we talk? When we are really divorced, everyone will definitely find out, right? We cannot hide the truth from them forever. Especially... espacially not from mother-in-law. Since that's the case, why don't we tell her the truth earlier?" 

Lin Lihua switched on the bedside lamp and got out of bed, glaring at him threateningly. "DON'T! YOU! DARE! Henry Blanc, are you trying to kill my mother?" 

Xia Rou's health condition wasn't especially nice. Her organs had grown weaker over the years. She was practically struggling to breath in a few more puffs of air. That was why although they were getting a divorce, she had made sure no one knew about it. If the news reached Xia Rou's ears, it was no guaratee that she would survive the shock. 

Of course Henry Blanc knew about this. He didn't intend to be so shameless as to use Xia Rou as a threat, but he needed something to tie Lin Lihua down. He hoped the heavens would forgive him for this. "But... when we divorce, we can no longer live in the same house, right? Your sister will find out soon, especially since Ruoxi and Katy are her daughter's friends. Once Lu Meili finds out, everyone surely will." 

Lin Lihua pulled the covers from him. "What's your point? You can say it while standing. Get out of my bed." 

Henry Blanc shamelessly grabbed the covers from her, curling himself in. "Wife, are you trying to use the cold to kill me? I could sue you for that, you know. I'm sure mother-in-law will get justice for me." 

"I really want to slap you to death." It was not sure what happened to Henry Blanc today. Had he drank too much along with Katy? 

"Since you like my bed so much, go ahead and sleep on it." She harruphed and sauntered away.

However, she would never expect the door to be locked. Not only that, the key was missing too.

"Idiot, where's the key?" 

Henry Blanc turned leisurely, as though this bed belonged to him. "How am I supposed to know? This is not my room. Honey, it's already very late. I really want to play with you but I'm too sleepy. Can we play tomorrow?" 

"You..." It was so late or night. What kind of game was this? Was he a little boy? 

"Honey, I don't want you to catch a cold. Come here, let's sleep. I promise I won't kiss you all night." 

Lin Lihua glared at him. How did he manage to say such things? How shameless! 

Not only that, he was even acting as though she was the one who had invaded his room, and he was being lenient by letting her sleep together. 

"Can you not look so furious? You will soon become an old hag if you keep glaring at people murderously." The shameless man on her bed was at it again. 

At this moment, she regretted not having a sofa in her room. She had thought that it was kot necessary. Now she knew just how necessary it was. 

With no other choice, she took pillows and used them to separate Henry from her space of the bed. 

However, as soon as she placed the fourth pillow on the bed, the third one was already on the floor and so was the first and second. 

"Hey!" How dare he? 

She picked them up again. Like a stubborn child, Henry Blanc pulled them off again. 

Lin Lihua was tired. She flopped down on her side, close to the edge of the bed and tried as much as possible to ignore him. 

Henry Blanc chuckled slightly. Katy was right. He had kept his distance and waited for her to change her mind for too long. If he was this stubborn in the past, she wouldn't have the chance to sue him for divorce.

That was the longest night for Lin Lihua. The next morning, she had faint dark circles under her eyes.

Luckily, that idiot Henry Blanc had already left by the time she woke up. She could catch up on some sleep.

Someone knocked on her door. 

Katy walked in as soon as she opened it. "Good morning mother, I brought you breakfast."

She looked at her dark circles. "Mother, you didn't have a good night's sleep? I told you to not stay up too late." 

Lin Lihua glared at the girl who was putting on an innocent act. "What are you and your father up to?" 

Katy Blanc placed the tray of breakfast on Lin Lihua's night stand. "Nothing much. We don't want you to leave." She looked extremely sad. "If you leave, I will miss daddy too much." 

"Excuse me?" What did her leaving have to do with her missing Henry Blanc? 

"If I were a minor, the court would decide my custody. However, I'm an adult so I will personally choose who to live with. Of course I want to go with you, mother. At the same time, I will miss daddy too much. I'm at a loss just like daddy is." 

Lin Lihua touched her forehead. "What weird meds are you on?" 

Katy flashed a smile. "I knew you cared about me. You're concerned about my health, right?" 

Lin Lihua was helpless. What was this Blanc duo up to? 

"Mother, I'm leaving. Remember to eat your breakfast before it gets too cold." Katy said and left Lin Lihua's room.
