Chapter 506 - Did she enjoy making herself suffer?

Wan Jia looked up at him, two trails of tears rolling from her eyes. Soon, her face flooded with tears. 

He tore his gaze from her sharply. If he continued looking at her, he might insanely decide to do as she said. However, this was no laughing matter. She could die from it. Couldn't she just understand? 

It was just unfortunate that he couldn't possibly force her. If he did, it would only make matters worse. How could he bear to do it?

Lu Aotian stood up left the hospital room for the first time since the day broke. He rarely left her side. He would keep watch over her and send his assistant if he needed anything done. Lin Lihua and Xia Rou would bring over food.

Wan Jia forced a smile. "Sis, you're here. You didn't bring Little Jia?" 

Lin Lihua was almost on the verge of tears when she heard her weak voice. It was as though she had no more life left in her. Did her little sister enjoy making herself suffer? 

"Mom, can you have a word with your youngest daughter? I'm scared that if I glance at her one more time, I will have the urge to beat her up and send the baby flying out." 

Wan Jia looked over. Her mother was here too? 

Xia Rou walked in slowly, scared she would see her daughter in pain. 

Wan Jia saw the worry in her eyes. Actually, all these people had the same expression. They were worried about her. 

Under her gaze, Lin Lihua placed the dishes she had brought on the table. "I'll go back now. I'm going to take care of my daughters."

"What's taking so long? Are they done yet?" Lu Aotian was beside himself with anxiety. 

"Calm down. They only started a minute ago." Lu Tongyan glared at his son. What kind of worry was this?

Lu Aotian finally calmed down after a while. Of course, it was only as calm as 'calm' could be in such a situation. He had stopped pacing and blabbering and sat his butt on the bench at the side. 

After waiting for a long time, a small nurse finally came out with an adorable smile on her face. There was a sparkle in her eyes as she walked towards them. "Are you Wan Jia's family?"

Wan Jia lay on the bed, her face pale from tiredness. Beside her was a little bundle. 

Lu Aotian slowed down and gently held her hand. "You should rest." 

He looked at the tiny thing beside her. Her eyes were tightly closed.
