Chapter 492 - Nothing left

At the same time, Lin Lihua was in disbelief. She had found out who exactly was working for Mrs. Blanc. 

How could she? 

Out of all people, she had never expected the person who betrayed her to be her close friend. Wait, that's a lie. She had expected it to be a close friend, but not one with whom she had gone through the ups and downs of the modelling and film industries together. She had also found out that Mrs. Blanc was not doing this on her own. She was under the influence of Yun Jifeng. 

That was right. Yun Jifeng was the one who convinced her to fake Amy Blanc's death. With eveyone believing that Amy was dead, she would change her identity and continue enjoying her freedom. 

Of course, Amy Blanc had already accepted to pay for her faults so she was not up to this. Therefore, they forcefully got her out of prison. They would later make her lose her memory and live with a new identity. 

It was going to be a win-win for Yun Jifeng and Mrs. Blanc. The former would get his 'girlfriend' out while the latter would have her daughter back. At the same time, she would get Lin Lihua out of her family. She readily agreed to the deal.

Lin Lihua watched the video sent to her by the man called Doherty again. Since the man sent it to her, she had no courage to watch it and had only watched it a moment ago. 

Actually, it is easy to break people out of prison if one has the same amount of influence as the Blanc family has.

However, predicting twists of fate is impossible.

The worst part of it was that Amy Blanc's body could no longer be retrieved. When he was done torturing her, he had poured sulphur over her and burned her to ashes. Yun Jifeng was an animal...

Lin Lihua wiped the tears off her cheeks and pondered whether to send this video to Henry Blanc. Although he deserved to know the truth, how could she bear to let him witness the torture and murder of his little sister that he loved so much? Wouldn't he go crazy for real? 

But then again, he was investigating the matter as well. It would not be long before he got his hands on the truth. She had only got it before him because she was fast to suspect that the whole matter was a lie.

Lin Lihua was right. Henry Blanc did not believe it when he learnt the truth. 

"This was not part of the plan." Lu Aotian said. He had not expected Yun Jifeng to go that insane. For the first time, something seemed to slip his control. It didn't just seem to. It actually slipped his control. 

He had been having Yun Jifeng watched so he couldn't cause any trouble before he got arrested. 

Never in his wildest imagination would he have expected that he would manage to break Amy Blanc out. He had expected that since he had warned Henry Blanc about Yun Jifeng, the latter would take care of his sister. 

"I was careless." Henry Blanc said regretfully. "I let Amy gi through this." Amy, blame it on brother for being careless. 

However, it was no use regretting. It was too late. The irriversible had already happened. 

It hurt very much. That bastard had even poured Amy's ashes over the lake. They had nothing remaining of her. Nothing at all. 

From what Wan Jia had told him about men claiming to have been sent by his father to pick Katy Blanc, he had learnt that the idiot even wanted to kidnap and kill Katy as well. 

What made him want to explode in his fury was his mother. She could have used her time to do anything else, but she just had to help the man who wanted to kill her own daughter. 

She kept yapping, "My poor Amy," but she was the one who caused her death. How was such a woman even still alive? 

"You are not my mother!" He barked when he saw her approach him. 

Mrs. Blanc's face was soaked in tears. "Son, how can you say such hurtful things? My daughter already left me. Are you trying to break mother's heart by saying such things?" 

"Save your tears Miss Claudia Williams. One of us is a Blanc and the other is not." 

At this moment, an extremely angry Mr. Blanc came in. "My son is not leaving the family because of an irresponsible and hateful woman who killed my daughter. Scram!" 

Henry Blanc barely heard what his father said. "Dad, you spoke!" 

When they all learnt the truth, he was afraid that his father's mental condition would worsen. He was scared that death was probably what awaited him, too. 

Mr. Blanc glanced at his son that looked like he had aged overnight. "Henry, it has been hard on you. I didn't learn her true colors earlier and made you and Amy suffer. Will you ever forgive me?" 

Henry Blanc had been prepared to take Katy and leave the family but now that his father mentioned it, why would he? It was his mother who should be kicked out.
