Lin Lihua did not what to do with him. If she kept trying to explain the matter to him at such a time, she might be infuriated to death.

"Henry, I will not let her get away for killing my daughter. That woman must go to prison!"

After the call, Henry Blanc seemed to have retrieved a clear state of mind, or so she thought. 

"Xia Jing and Amy have never met before." He said. 

"What about it?" 

"He killed her." 

Lin Lihua had already recieved the worst form of shock. This was nothing in comparison.

She remained calm. "That has nothing to do with me." 

Henry Blanc seemed to be torn between believing his wife and trusting logic. "You went to Country F to meet Xia Jing. Immediately you left, he killed a woman with whom he had no past grudge. They had never even met before. Lin Lihua, are you saying that this is a coïncidence?" 

Lin Lihua knew that his brain was probably not working right... yet. "I planned to go to Country F to kill someone who happens to be your sister, but I told you about it before I left. I even had my former foster brother do it even while knowing that it would be very easy to track him back to me? Henry Blanc, are you an idiot?" How did he even get the so called evidence he had to prove that she killed Amy Blanc?

After being scolded by his wife, he seemed to jolt. His mind cleared a little more. 

Lin Lihua was right. She cared about him. Aside from that, she was a kind woman who would not hurt anyone who did not deserve to be hurt by her. Why would she hurt Amy? 

That was not even important. Even if he got the real culprit, even if he sent them to jail, one fact would never change. 

His sister was dead... she was not coming back.

Unceremoniously, he hugged her in his arms tightly. 

Lin Lihua was stunned but she patted his back. He must be very devastated. He loved his younger sister too much. How could he not be sad? 

She was even starting to get scared that he might fall into depression if she was not careful enough. 

Speaking of which, she needed to check on Katy. Thevlittle girl must have cried herself to sleep by now. 

When she looked around, Ruoxi who was sitting on the sofa innocently was no longer there. She must have gone to keep Katy company. She decided to go and check on them. 

"Your body is burning!" She observed. He had a very high fever. No wonder he was thinking like an idiot.

Her eyes widened. He had not fainted, right? 

With effort, she helped him lie on the sofa and called her mother's friend, Doctor Qiao over.  

Placing a finger by his nose, she noticed that his breathing was uneven. He had not fainted, but the fever was terrible. 

While waiting for Doctor Qiao, she checked to find out just how exactly Xia Jing had set her up. 

That idiot... she would make him pay.
