"Will your family find it alright? Although President Lu's daughter is the first heir, your eldest child still holds a significant position in the family, right? Will they really let that position go to an adopted child?" Su Ling questioned. 

Lu Shaoting was expecting this type of question. "Why not? A biological child is my child but a foster child is not my child? If I'm not going to give him all the rights he would get as my own child, why would I adopt him? " 

Su Ling had no answer for this. Well, most foster children didn't have it going easy in their families. Some of them even ended up having to sever relations with their foster parents. She was still thinking about this when she felt him pull her to his body.

Lu Shaoting was stunned then he let out a chuckle. Should he take that as a compliment? 

Anyway, since she couldn't do it anymore, he held her in his arms and let her fall back asleep.
