Chapter 387 - The honor of EFW

At 5pm, Wan Jia started getting ready for her date. She didn't have to worry about leaving Little Jia alone because she was not home. Lately, both she and Lu Aotian were busy. Although they would make sure to be home early to keep their daughter company, the little girl didn't have many friends outside school and she would still be bored. Her school lessons only took up five hours of her day.

After completing her homework if she had any, she would play with her kitten and toys or paint for a while. However, it wouldn't be long before she started missing her parents. Wan Jia was doing her best to finish up everything required to start running her stores within the shortest time possible.

Then, she would let her daughter go to her office after school and spend more time with her and also go home earlier. For the former reason, she had customized her office so there was a toys and games zone where the little girl could play as she waited for her.

Meanwhile, Little Jia was temporarily staying in the old Lu residence. Her parents had a lot on their plates and she didn't want them to worry about her being bored. She wanted to play with grandpa for some days.

When Wan Jia was done dressing up, the chauffeur drove her to North Side. It was a few minutes past 8pm when she arrived. She hoped her husband had not waited  too long. Since she was wearing twelve centimeter high heels, she couldn't walk too fast.

Lu Aotian was waiting at the entrance of the villa.

"You look cute." He said as he took her hand.

She was wearing a pale pink off shoulder dress which was quite short. This was one of her earliest designs. When she started working in Elite Fashion World, Lu Aotian had taken this dress and another from the same series to be displayed in the main store under the label of "The honor of EFW". 

No matter how much money you offered or how much power you held, you would not be able to buy either of them without Lu Aotian's permission. 

It was only because Wan Jia was the lady boss as well as its designer that she was allowed to take it. 

It did suit her perfectly. 

She didn't have an ounce of make up on her face and only had a thin necklace for jewellery. Her long hair was straight today and fell all the way to her waist.

If Su Ling were to dress up in such a showy dress, she would look charming and seductive. But thanks to Wan Jia's innocent looking face, she looked pure and cute, like a little angel. Her little pretty face and the color of the dress made one overlook her dazzling figure and long legs. She was no different from how she looked when she first met Lu Aotian five years ago.

No. There was a difference. Her body looked more feminine than it looked five years ago.

"Pervert. What are you looking at?" she smacked him when she noticed his line of sight.

"Why can't I admire my wife's beauty?" Also, was there a wife who called her own husband a pervert for looking at her? He led her into the villa which had been decorated anew.

With a red theme, it looked quite romantic. Even the curtains were now red and white.

She looked around in awe. In the dining room, there were many dishes on the table with two candles burning on an exquisite white candle stand.

"What's the occasion?" She couldn't help asking.

Lu Aotian pulled a chair for her to sit. "I missed spending time alone with my wife. Is that a suitable occasion?"

"Yes." Well, he really put in a lot of effort.

"We have never gone on our honeymoon." He reminded. They had almost forgotten about this.

"Why don't we go on a short vacation when everything is settled?" She suggested. That was, after Lu Enterprises' Centennial.

"Sure. You still want to go to Country F, right? I'll ask Henry about the best places to go."

"Actually, I changed my mind. Can we go to Little Jia's island instead? Everything there is beautiful. It would be the best location for a honeymoon. We can stay in the island mansion." Although it was very big, she would not feel so if they were on honeymoon.

"Alright." His answer was habitually affirmative. He had gone to most countries on business trips before. Of course, the main point was that paradise was where his wife was. It would still be fine even if they were trapped in hell.

Wan Jia was still in disbelief. He agreed to go to Little Jia's island? She had expected him to hesitate because this was his princess' property. 

However, to think of it, wouldn't it be a shame if that island mansion remained uninhabited for all those years just to wait for Little Jia to come of age?

Lu Aotian cut a piece of steak and put it in front of her mouth. 

She jolted out of her thoughts. "I...I can eat on my own." 

Although she said that she could eat on her own, she still happily bit the piece of steak off the fork and chewed on it. 

After swallowing, she had a bright, cheerful smile. "The chef is in such a good mood today! The steak tastes so nice." 

"Is that so?" Lu Aotian asked as he served dishes for her. 

"Yes." She went ahead to try other dishes. 

"So yummy. Did you change the chefs? The food wasn't this tasty the last time we were here." 

Lu Aotian had a smile on his face. "I didn't."
