Chapter 370 - Yun Feng

Name:My Beautiful Love Author:Avalorian_
On Monday, Wan Jia had a meeting with the managers of Platinum Grand Hotel. When the meeting was over, a group of people tried to attack her. Luckily she knew a move or two and Lu Aotian's men were fast too. If not, she would already be dead.

Lu Aotian called her a few minutes after the attempted assassination. "Are you alright? Come to Lu Enterprises."

"Okay" her voice was a bit shaky from having used a lot of strength just now.

From the moment those people cornered her to the moment they were all fought off; Wan Jia didn't think it was normal. Not only that, they were all female mercenaries who weren't too skilled. As soon as Lu Aotian's men showed up, they were knocked out in single moves. If they weren't that many, Wan Jia would fight them off on her own.

"I think there's a mole among my bodyguards. How else did the other party know my location?" she said when she arrived in Lu Enterprises. "Besides, the mercenaries sent were quite mediocre. The other party is obviously powerless but they were confident in their mediocre mercenaries."

"I'm glad my wife is not that useless."

"So there really is a mole?"

"Mmh. But it's not a bodyguard."

"So you know who it is?"

Lu Aotian didn't know how answer her without making her worried. He was sure that it was not an assassination attempt. It was an illusion. Yun Jifeng would not kill Wan Jia at such a time.

At this moment, a bodyguard rushed in. "Boss...eer…"

He looked at Wan Jia and didn't know whether to say it.

"Speak."

The bodyguard still trembled. The madam was here! "It's related to Qian Li."

Lu Aotian didn't mind Wan Jia knowing what was about to be reported. Besides if she were to be excluded now, she would only get worried. "Go ahead."

"Okay, ahem…Someone tried to kill him. He is in coma."

"You may leave."

"Yes." The bodyguard swiftly left.

Lu Aotian started typing something on his laptop. Wan Jia didn't need to look to guess that he was hacking into something.

Soon, a group of footages appeared on his screen.

Wan Jia's eyes flew wide open. "Road surveillance footage? Aotian, this is illegal."

Lu Aotian didn't look fazed. "It would be illegal if someone found out."

"…"

Fine. You are Lu Aotian. You can break the law. Who will find out anyway?

Since she knew that whatever he was doing was definitely related to the news he had just received, she peered over. He selected a video that had been captured next to a cliff and played it.

Just as he thought, it was a case of Qian Li's car being rammed into. The car was pushed down the cliff and the traffic surveillance camera didn't capture how he survived.

Wan Jia was staring at him intently. "Big Xing only said that someone tied to kill Qian Li. How did you know that it was by ramming into his car?"

"It's not hard to guess."

Wan Jia scanned him curiously. "Did you… was it your order?"

"What do you think?"

What does she think? It probably wasn't. Her husband wasn't that kind of person. Besides if he wanted Qian Li dead, the news wouldn't be of an attempted murder.

"Then…did Shaoting do it?...what's with that look? Shaoting's currently the person who hates Qian Li the most." Not to mention this was staged like a road accident. Wasn't it all to make the revenge complete?

"Shaoting's not that kind of person either."

Of course, the way this incident was staged, he would also think Lu Shaoting was the culprit if he didn't know a certain idiot's plans. The hugest problem arose. If he were to tell his wife that he knew this was going to happen but he didn't do anything about it, would she think he was heartless?

Wan Jia was finally pissed. "Can you not be so mysterious? Why don't you become an underground investigator then? You should work for the IU."

"I'm too intelligent for the IU."

"…"

Although it's true, do you have to be so blunt about it?

___

Talking of the Intelligence Unit and people who worked there, Tyler didn't know that he was currently a father of two.

That was right. Yun Xuan's baby had been born.

He had been born seven and a half months into her pregnancy. Although he was premature, the little boy was the most healthy preterm the hospital had ever seen.

He was no different from a full term baby. Therefore, he was allowed to leave the hospital with his mother.

On his full moon ceremony, she had named him Yun Feng. It sounded so easy but there was no single person from her family on her son's full moon party. It was all the new friends she had made.

Luckily Yun Feng was so lively that she didn't feel a tinge of loneliness.

Whenever he felt the presence of anyone else, he would be unhappy and cry but when his mother held him, he would flash a happy toothless smile.

Now one and a half months old, he was so cheerful that he brought his mother happiness.

Yun Xuan didn't feel unhappy about having to raise him on her own. It was much better than living with that man. She would never tell him about their son. The only person she was going to tell was her mother.
