Chapter 320 - The lost boy

Name:My Beautiful Love Author:Avalorian_
A few days after Henry Blanc left, Lin Lihua still couldn't understand why she was feeling so sad about a man she had nothing to do with. She would drag Wan Jia for meals and fun every time they were both free and keep her mind off that man.

___

It had already been one month since he left. He hadn't ever tried to contact her, a fact which infuriated her. If he cared about her so much, why didn't he even try to find her contact number?

She scolded herself as crazy for acting like a little teenage girl. As it is, women could act really silly when in love.

One cold day of winter, she invited Wan Jia to ice skate together. It was her favorite sport ever and she especially loved the largest rink in the capital. It wasn't that far from her apartment and she would hop over a few times for fun.

"I've never done this before." Wan Jia said as she nervously held onto Lin Lihua's hand.

"It's not that hard. Just don't be scared and let me teach you." Lin Lihua led her to a part with less people.

In just half an hour, Wan Jia was already going around the rink on her own."This is so fun!" she exclaimed as she sped up.

Lin Lihua was feeling more cheered up. "I told you you would love it."

"I will come here with Aotian and Little Jia next time."

"…"

You didn't have to display your affection all of a sudden, you know.

When they were tired, they went to a nearby restaurant for hot pot.

Coincidentally, someone saw her at the entrance. As soon as they went in, Wan Jia felt a blazing stare on her. she turned on instinct and from a few meters away, Wan Jia saw a big pair of round eyes staring at her unblinkingly.

Their owner was a little boy of around Tangtang's age and he seemed to mumble something under his breath. When he saw Wan Jia look at him, his big eyes welled up and a huge tear drop rolled from his eyes onto his pale cheeks.

In the next second, he dashed through the entrance and towards them like an arrow and before the women could react, he hugged Wan Jia's legs.

Wan Jia and Lin Lihua exchanged puzzled looks. Why would a strange boy suddenly rush to them?

"Mommy…" the little boy cried.

Huh? M-mommy?

"Mommy, I knew I would find you again. Wu…"

Wan Jia was baffled. Who was this little boy that didn't know his mother and went mistaking people?

She tousled his hair patiently. She loved children and couldn't be rude to one. "Little boy, did you lose your way?" she was looking at the direction where the boy came from and trying to see if there was any adult looking for their child.

"Mommy, why did you leave? Is it because you don't like Little An An? An An is a very good and obedient boy. Mommy, can you give me a chance to prove it?"

Eer…

"Little boy, you must have made a mistake. I'm not your mommy. I'll help you find your mother, okay?" though she felt this boy looked familiar…like a child she had seen before.

"Mommy! Can you not say such things? Little An An likes you very much. Take An An with you, okay?" He was bawling his eyes out pitifully.

"But I'm really not your mommy. I…"

He broke into a wail that started attracting the attention of outsiders. More people were starting to look over and some were even taking pictures and videos. The restaurant owner was starting to get irritated by their little banter.

He walked over. "I'm sorry to interrupt whatever this is, but you're disrupting my customers. Could you do it elsewhere?"

Wan Jia apologized, asked Lin Lihua to wait for her and pulled the little boy out with her.

"I'll help you find your mommy, okay? Can you tell me her name?"

Every time she said such a thing, the little boy would be sadder and cry harder.

Wan Jia was on the verge of collapse. What was she supposed to do?

Just when she was about to take out her phone and make a call, a woman wearing a white fluffy jacket rushed over. "Baby! I looked everywhere for you. I was very worried."

When the boy saw his mother, he held onto Wan Jia's clothes tighter. "Mommy, don't let her take me away. An An only loves you!"

The woman was enraged when she saw her son's actions. She glared at Wan Jia. "What did you do to my son? Why is she calling you his mother?"

Wan Jia was taken aback. "Are you insane? Shouldn't you be apologizing on your son's behalf?"

The woman raised her head to look at Wan Jia's beautiful face. Her temperament suddenly changed. "Huh. You are Wan Jia. No wonder."

She turned to her son and glared at him fiercely. She looked like she could even hit him if he said one single word. "She is not your mother! I am. You hear me?"

The boy shivered in fear and let his mother lead him away.

Wan Jia was still in thought when she went back to the restaurant. She didn't bear any resemblance to that woman. why would her son get them mixed up?
