Chapter 201 - In my next life, I wish to be your sister-in-law

On her way, however, she couldn't help but think back to what Yun Xuan had just said to her about wishing they were sisters. If this were before, she would probably have the same wish but after what happened between them...it seemed to her like the only genuinely kind person in the Yun family was Madam Yun.

She did not know about the first and third brothers because she had not encountered them much but she had initially thought Yun Jifeng was a nice person. Who would have known, he was a wolf in sheep's clothing? As for Yun Xuan, perhaps she was not exactly an evil-hearted woman but her temper was capable of causing eternal conflicts.

For a moment when they were talking just now, she wished she could tell her what she really felt but she restrained herself. It was not worth it.

Amidst her thoughts, Wan Jia arrived at the hidden spot where she had left the Lu brothers. Unexpectedly, Lu Shaoting was alone.

"Where is your brother?" she asked as she peered into the backseat.

"He went home." Lu Shaoting answered in a voice sounding as though he was half dead.

"Why do you sound like you have been attacked by ghosts?" she was nervous too, but did his reaction have to be so exaggerated?

"You should have seen my brother's expression. He only restrained himself when you were here but once you left, I felt like I was in hell."

"..." That chilling glare was called restraining?

"Is it that bad? Did he yell at you? I should have explained that I forced you into this." she felt guilty.

"I wish he yelled at me but no, he didn't. He simply got back into his car and shot off." he said.

"In my next life, I still want to be your sister-in-law. I also hope the whole family remains as it is and I still meet Sis Lihua." she mumbled.

Lu Shaoting stared at her briefly and drove off. " Er, what life? Did you eat something in the Yun mansion? What are you even saying?"

"Aren't we going to die? Aotian is scarier when he doesn't yell at people. When we die, I hope to reincarnate soon."

Lu Shaoting did not speak anymore until they arrived at Southside villa. Then he recieved the plastic bag containing General Yun's toothbrush from Wan Jia and wanted to drive off when he heard a very chilling voice. "Where do you think you're going?"

Dead! He was dead! He got off the car, almost crawling all the way to Lu Aotian's feet.

Lu Aotian turned around and went into the living room. The two naughty kids knew to follow him on their own accord.

"Explain."

The man only spat out one word while sitting on the sofa.

Lu Shaoting trembled all the way onto his knees. "Bro, I was wrong. I will never do it again."

Wan Jia saw him kneeling and felt guilty. "Shaoting..." he turned to Lu Aotian . "My love, it's all my fault. I forced him to help me."

Lu Aotian looked condensingy at her then shot a look at his brother. "Out!"

Lu Shaoting stood up and dashed out of the house like his backside was on fire. A few seconds later, his car was heard leaving the compound at an alarming speed.

Wan Jia finally looked pleadingly at her man and whispered fearfully, "Aotian."

The man looked at her like he wanted to say something but in the end, he just stood up and left for his room. She knew that he must be angry.

She was right; he was truly angry.

Only heaven knew how worried these two troublemakers had made him.

Initially, he was just curious and thought they were simply planning to play around a little in his absence. Every time he checked on them, they didn't seem to be doing anything unusual so he had let his guard down a little.

But, no matter how he tried to guess it, he would have never expected this outcome!

It was only the previous day when he videocalled Lu Shaoting and he felt the latter was lying to him about something that he decided to take the next flight back. Actually, he only found out the exact thing they were doing after arriving in the country. When he found that neither Lu Shaoting nor Wan Jia was at work, he resorted to the last option- hacking into Wan Jia's phone. The result was, his dear younger brother and the love of his life were seeking death in the Yun mansion...

Worst of all, he had been too late.

These two little fools, did they know how much danger they were putting themselves into?

That damn Lu Shaoting! How could he be controlled by a woman, one who is not even his girlfriend at that? Didn't he know to report to him when Wan Jia was in danger? He was now even helping her create more of it?!

As for Wan Jia...was she insane? No, she was not just insane. That was obviously the epitome of stupidity.

This was totally the case of getting pricked by a lionfish and then proudly extending a finger to be pricked again. That silly girl...he did not even know what to say about her. He was so angry with her that if he spoke to her right now, he might say something that may hurt her feelings.
