Chapter 67 - Nicknames

Name:My Beautiful Love Author:Avalorian_
Much later, Lu Aotian couldn't wait any longer. Dressing up for three and a half hours? Dude! we're going to a theme park. The theme park, okay? Not to the moon. Or are the two of you planning to on a nighttime adventure?

He was just about to knock on Wan Jia's door when he saw her coming out of Little Jia's room. To be exact, he saw both of them coming out but his eyes were fixed on Wan Jia the moment he saw her. The girl was wearing a very beautiful slightly fluffy pink dress with pink boots. Her long wavy hair had been pulled into a ponytail. The white crystal butterfly near her ear was identical to the ones on her boots.

She looked exactly like an adorable magical fairy princess.

"Do I look pretty?" she twirled before him happily.

"Very pretty." his voice was unrecognizably hoarse. "Can I take a picture of you?"

"Of course!"

Little Jia two steps behind her "..."

I waited for more than three hours, wore my best dress and my best shoes, yet you shower mommy with all the praises and don't even spare me a glance? she looked like she was about to cry.

Only when Lu Aotian took Wan Jia's photo did he notice a miniature version of her behind her. Although their dresses were not identical, they were of the same pink color. Little Jia had two tiny heart shaped crystals each beside her long pigtails and looked extremely adorable.

"Oh, baby looks beautiful too. Neither of them looked happy with the praise.

'You only noticed me when I became a backdrop.' little Jia thought.

'I'm the baby, okay? You shouldn't casually use my nickname on other people.' Wan Jia glared at him.

Lu Aotian didn't understand their looks and brushed it off. "Let's go."

Little Jia wanted to sit in the backseat with her mommy alone.

"Daddy could you sit in front?" she asked innocently, although Lu Aotian knew her thoughts were far from innocent.

"There's enough space for the three of us at the back." he said. Of course the little girl knew he wanted to sit next to his wife!

"But, our dresses will be ruined if we get too squeezed." she insisted shyly.

Lu Aotian glanced at the backseat which was big enough to comfortably fit the three of them plus the huge teddy bear from days ago.

"Then how about Mommy sits in between us?" he tested her.

"No! I want to sit between you."

Indeed, she was doing it on purpose. Whatever, it was a happy occassion. Starting a rivalry now wasn't quite a nice way to start it. Thus he could only sit in the shotgun seat sulkily and watch the mother and daughter pair being lovey dovey at the back.

An hour later, they arrived at Universal Amusement park. This was a privately owned theme park and not many people went there. The few people there came from powerful backgrounds hence their security was extremely tight. Of course, Lu Aotian would never be sure about such measures so several bodyguards followed them secretly.

The first thing Wan Jia saw when they entered the theme park was "Cotton candy!" she was so excited that she almost flew off to the sky. "Baby, can I have one?"

Little Jia humphed. How despicable! Not only do you want to steal mommy's attention from me, you also want my nickname?

Lu Aotian noticed her glaring at him and secretly gave her a funny look.

"Can I, can I, can I?" Wan Jia shook his arm like a spoilt little girl.

"Okay, okay...but just one."

"Baby, you're the best." she said as she held little Jia's hand and pulled the two of them to the candy counter.

She bought the biggest rainbow colored one.

"Baby, do you want to have a taste?"

Lu Aotian looked at her.

Little Jia also looked at her.

Obviously, they both wanted to know who she was reffering to.

"Eer..."

Are you both fighting for a nickname? She totally forgot about how she also almost blew the rooftop for the same nickname.

To prevent a war from breaking out, she pinched a piece and fed it to Little Jia. Her eyes lit up. She had never eaten cotton candy before and she felt happy.

"Nice, eh? We'll convince your daddy to let us buy another one later." the last statement was a whisper.

Then she pinched another piece and put it in Lu Aotian's mouth. No one would ever imagine that the powerful and serious Lu Aotian would actually allow such a thing as cotton candy into his mouth.

He was initially unhappy about the 'baby' being Little Jia but when his wife personally fed him the fluffy thing and he even got to lick her fingers slightly, he forgot about it.

"Quick! Let's go to the rides. I want to try the roller coaster. I heard it's pretty scary. Oh, oh, I want to try the ferris wheel too, and the drop tower." she rambled on and on when they finished the cotton candy.

She really wanted to go to the drop tower with Lu Aotian. Too bad they couldn't go with Little Jia on those child unfriendly rides. She didn't feel safe about leaving her in the kids zone alone either. In such foreign places, it was best to watch her closely as she played with the other kids just in case she got scared in their absence or caused trouble.

"I'll bring you here alone the next time." he said when he noticed her longing look.
