?'These bastards are really strong,' I thought as I looked at the battle.
It had been four, and a half minutes since the battle began, and they were still fighting. Their battle had become so intense, that it had scared away all the monsters, even the strongest one had retreated.
I am waiting for the opportunity to escape, but aren't seeing any.
If I tried to escape now, he would attack me. He won't even need much effort. A single energy attack would be more than enough.
I don't want to take such a risk unless I really have no choice and I am moving toward it.
It had been over twenty seconds since their power had stopped rising fast. They are reaching their peak. Once they do, they will either have to use their final move and continue to fight the battle of attrition, till one of them wins.
This is likely a choice, as I don't think the captor would use the beast mode unless he really has no choice.
These two aren't the only enemies here. Even if he killed these two; there are powerful monsters who will kill him if he isn't able to hide in time.
They might be the power of the beast god, but they will attack him if they see him weak enough.
Another minute passed, and they reached the peak, with the captor dominating them while all they were doing was defending. It is a good thing, that they are two of them and have good teamwork.

I am moving at my full speed, and my target is getting out of the area covered by the soul sense of the two.
It is a huge area, and it is why, I am using my full speed without care. I would be a hundred times safer, the moment, I got out of their soul range.
It is also helpful, that all the monsters have left. There is no one here to stop me or anyone moving in a different direction.
Nobody grouped together, one tried to form it but rejected the one whom he approached. Grouping together means attracting the captor or two cultists, as they will go for the higher number first.
It suits me well; I work best alone.
Over three minutes passed, and I could see the captor was still struggling against the two. Though he seemed to be making progress.
Seeing that, I pushed myself even faster and even contemplated burning my blood, but I didn't. I need to keep that option open as I might need to use it, in this dangerous place.
So, I kept running, using every ounce of energy I had.
Finally, a minute and forty-seven seconds later, I crossed the man's soul sense, and thirteen seconds after that, I crossed the woman's soul sense, where I immediately reduced my speed.
There are powerful monsters, not far away from me. These are the ones, who ran away, but they are watching from the distance.
Seeing that, I decided to not take a risk with them and took out my abode and entered the inside.
I wanted to go further, than the range of their soul sense, but with monsters, I rather not take a risk.

I stepped into the abode and fell down on the chair, relieved.
I am not truly safe yet, but I have escaped and have enough confidence in my abode that, as long as my luck isn't too bad, they won't be able to discover me.
Still to be careful. I begin to wipe away, the tiniest signs of me; signs that even Sky Sovereign would have a hard time discovering.
