Chapter 198.2. War

-???’s POV-

“Corrosion… troublesome magic.”

Shina observed the scene and lightly hopped on the trees, using them as stepping stones to move away.

The blades of darkness flew after her, but she remained calm, kicking off the trees with the tips of her toes and swiftly changing direction, evading them all.

Scattering leaves and breaking tree branches, Nidhogg soldiers flew down from the sky, brandishing their Graves and charging at her.

“You’ve done it now, you!”

[Acid Bullet]

The soldiers shouted and spread their hands towards Shina. The soldiers unleashed countless dark bullets and headed toward her.

The trees hit by the corrosive bullets changed color, and the leaves rotted away.

Amidst the booming sound and the passing corrosive bullets, Shina, using the trees as platforms, performed sharp and agile aerial maneuvers, not flustered but with a smile.

“Lucky.”

Aiming her bow and arrow towards the Nidhogg soldiers rapidly approaching through the gaps in the trees, Shina released an arrow charged with mana.

It pierced through the air, creating a shockwave-like wind that struck the soldiers.

“Gwah!”

Amidst the explosive blasts and the shattered enemy soldiers, blades of wind burst out from the smoke, engulfing and slicing through the surrounding enemy soldiers.

“What the hell! What kind of magic is she using!”

Nidhogg’s soldiers shouted insults while cutting through the closing blades of wind with their Graves.

“Don’t falter! The enemy’s arrows have limits! Get closer and overwhelm her!”

“Understood! You damn bastards!”

Most of the soldiers plunged into the forest, moving to surround Shiina.

“Die!”

[Magic Blade]

Infusing the blades of darkness into her Graves, one of the enemies charged at Shina.

With a slight tilt of her body, she narrowly evaded the strike from the Graves and aimed at the enemy who passed by her with her bow and arrow.

“Counter.”

With her eyes seemingly on the verge of closing, Shina muttered softly and released the arrow.

“Geha!”

Without confirming the enemy soldier who get struck by the arrow and exploded, Shiina twisted her body, executing a vertical rotation.

As the next enemy soldier leaped out, she deflected the attack with her bow, swiftly aimed, and released another arrow.

The following enemy and the one after that tried to approach and slash at Shina, but their attacks couldn’t even graze her.

They were shot down by the arrows, one after another.

“What kind of martial arts is this!”

“What is this guy!”

“We never heard about someone like her!”

The soldiers were overwhelmed by Shina’s swift and acrobatic movements among the trees and were defeated while expressing confusion and agitation.

Amidst the bewildered cries, they exploded one after another.

The number of soldiers rapidly dwindled in the face of Shina’s astonishing combat prowess.

“Oh… I’ve run out of arrows.”

With an empty quiver, Shiina moved her hands restlessly and furrowed her brow.

“This is my chance! Once the arrows are gone!”

Soldiers with their Gravess at the ready and smiles on their faces, charged at Shina.

“That’s why I had only 30 arrows… Was it not enough?”

Shina tilted her head in puzzlement, folding her fingers and displaying a bewildered expression.

“Die!”

With mana infused into their Graves, the soldiers tore through the air, launching their attacks at Shiina.

As she kicked off the trees and moved backward, Shiina skillfully evaded the attacks even without arrows, using her exceptional martial arts.

“Attack all at once!”

“Yes!”

“How dare you! Captain!”

With determination and murderous intent, the enemy soldiers closed in, surrounding Shiina.

Observing their actions, Shina nodded thoughtfully and spoke with a relaxed tone.

“So, I didn’t have enough… I don’t understand.”

Muttering softly, Shina descended to the ground with the speed of a bullet.

The soldiers pursued without breaking their encirclement.

“Well, if I run out, I can dig up some, right?”

Standing beside the grassy area, Shina placed one foot on the ground with a thud, as if taking a step.

The impact traveled through the ground, and two quivers flew out from the grass.

“These also contain 30 arrows each… So, with two of them…”

Waving her hand, all the arrows from the quivers flew out, hovering in a circular formation in mid-air.

“Oh no! Everyone, scatter!”

Startled and panicking, the enemy soldiers tried to escape, but their movements were too slow.

Raising her bow towards the sky, Shina unleashed her immense mana, causing multiple glowing blue bows made of mana to manifest and draw back the floating arrows.

“This is the end.”

[Wind God’s Gale Bow]

Each arrow was surrounded by a tornado as they were released. Grass and trees scattered, bending under the violent wind, and the arrows pierced through the enemy soldiers who attempted to dodge.

The arrows shattered the magic barriers, and the tornadoes, wielding sharp blades, sliced through the enemy soldiers.

As the blood and wind danced around, leaving the cleared ground with trees blown away, Shiina nodded in affirmation.

“All enemy soldiers eliminated. Quota fulfilled, time to go back and sleep.”

With drowsy eyes, Shina let out a gentle yawn and single-handedly wiped out the Nidhogg enemy soldiers.
